Yori tapped her fingers, and a deep sigh escaped her lips. How boring, right now she was presently watching over the shop. Well, she owes the shop owner a lot, so she can't avoid this. But today was supposed to be the joined training session with Lila's side. Lila, huh? Truthfully there's still a lot of things Yori has to work out before asking the girl to be her partner.

However, like she told Kasumi on the phone, she will ask Lila. Before they go back to j.a.pan, she will have asked Lila already. Yosh, now she's determined. Still, there's something she really wants to find out regarding Karas.h.i.+ma Haruka. Everyone knows Karas.h.i.+ma Haruka is the enemy and yet the kindness he shows towards Lila isn't a lie.

As for the love he has towards Lila, it is something she still has to a.n.a.lyze appropriately. Karas.h.i.+ma Haruka does seem to love her, but if that love isn't as strong as Kiryus, then she ought to warn Lila quickly. People may think she is overstepping her boundaries; however Yori doesn't want to see her friend suffer.

Her thoughts broke off as she saw movement from the corner of her eye. Oh, a customer--- Yori paused, and she pulled out a small dagger from her pocket. She threw it across where she saw the movement and heard it clatter against something.

She rushed over, only to find her dagger on the ground and a faint blood mark. But the trail stopped.

Yori scanned the entrance, but couldn't find anybody there; she shut her eyes.

n.o.body was there.

But for sure she heard footsteps just now…

Like he told his cute little sister, he will blend in the shadows and only make an appearance if they need help. By they, he meant Haruka and her. But instead, he was forced to come out into the open because of a single phone call. The woman who called him here is somebody who belonged to his previous circle. His senpai, Kanna -- Nasaki Kanna now. It surprised Huan when he received a phone call from her asking him to meet up.

Lila failed to mention that she revealed his ident.i.ty. Well, he supposes Kanna was bound to find out. Unlike before his senpai no longer wore those flashy long earrings or clothes. The person in front of him wore a simple dress and cardigan. Kannsenpai has become a mature woman now, as one would expect. Even he no longer resembled the person he used to be.

He did want to meet with her, so this wasn't the main issue. But instead, Huans gaze fell on two people sat by the window. Ray second member Hamano Mikami --and his ex-girlfriend Kanehera Yumeko. The latter is the reason why he is panicking.

Yumeko was presently ordering a lot and eating it all in one go, "I will use my dream power and get through this…"

"Yumeko-chan, you're overeating…." Mikami said.

Huan exhaled deeply, what's with this heart-pounding situation for? He didn't think that the restaurant where Kannsenpai asked to meet him with would be the same place Yumeko would go. They arrived here before them.

Presently the woman who he was with was hiding too.

"Your luck is as bad as ever Kannsenpai," Huan said with a deep sigh. He doubts this would have happened if he chose the meetup spot.

"Ssh keep your voice down." Kanna hushed him.

"Why are you hiding too?" Huan said. Didn't she tell him that shes already has spoken with Yumeko?

"Idiot, if they catch me. You will get caught as well."

Right. "I was surprised when you called me…" Huan started.

Kanna smiled, "Your sister contacted me. She said to keep you busy so she can flirt with Harukkun."

Gah? "My cute sister sold me out just like that…" Huan trailed off and realized something. A dark shadow wrapped around him, "So she doesn't want me spying? What sorts of things is she doing with Haruka…"

Huan replayed the image of the two kissing, and the shadow around him grew.

Kanna sighed, "Quit it, overprotective big bro. Lilchan is a big girl, and Harukkun is a good guy. He won't force himself on her if she doesn't want."

"Kannsenpai, even now your biased towards him."

"No matter what anyone says, Haruka is still my first love."

First love huh? Huan looked over at where Yumeko was speaking with Hamano Mikami. "First loves are hard to forget."

"Things have been hard on you…" Kanna trailed off. Huan didn't want to go into too many details, but he gave her an outline of what happened when he woke up. "But I agree with your fiance. You should sort things with Yumeko first. Is that all? You came only for Yumeko?"

Huan smiled weakly before he added, "Haruka too. I'm worried that Lila can't handle this mission alone."

"You think? She seems to be doing a better job…"

Huan shook her head, "There's more to this than Haruka changing." He knows Lila is starting to figure that out, but Huan added, "I still need to help."

Kanna nodded, "I suppose so. Harukkun situation isn't a simple one. n.o.body knows why he joined Y entertainment corporation run by a man known for corrupting his artists."

"To protect was the reason I got from Soichiro, but even then he seemed uncertain. Tell me Kannsenpai, how many times did you see Haruka after what happened?"

"As you know, the school naturally had to involve themselves in the matter. Some of us were in our uniforms that day; we couldn't conceal the matter completely."

Huan took a sip from the mug, "You didn't request help? From the supernatural powers a.s.sociation?"

"The funny thing is we did. But the members received the transmission late. The ones who managed to respond fastest were HYOU4, but even then they had a hard time handling the situation."

A slow response. It cant be a coincidence, "Someone interfered."
Huan said, he can't think of anything else.

"But who would? We were children, and while everyone had powers, we never used it on our daily lives."

"That's why I'm asking you about Haruka."

Kanna paused, "There was a time where I felt something was wrong... After what happened, I was kicked out of school and sent to a care facility. Harukkun came to see me, but he wasn't alone. He was with somebody."

"Who?"

"Haruka introduced me to him as Zane."

"Zane?" Huan repeated. He didn't know why but just saying that name sent s.h.i.+vers down his spine. "This man, Zane, tell me about him."

It could just be a coincidence, but Huan has a strong feeling. This must be the guy, the actual ring leader they were looking for.
