"I'm sorry for waki-" Lila's sentence fell short when Haruka's lips met hers. In seconds Haruka was kissing her, he was sucking and biting her bottom lip asking for entrance. Lila easily gave away. She felt his hot tongue explore her mouth, "Nngh.." Lila moaned softly, she hears a chuckle and hits him lightly with her hands. He's too stupid. The kiss lasted for around half an hour.

By the time Haruka pulled back, Lila felt dizzy causing her to be unsteady on her feet. Haruka grabbed hold of her wrist, "Oops, you're too cute dear."

Recently Haruka calls her things like 'dear' and 'darling.' Though Lila still isn't used to it, she allows him knowing that it made him happy. One of the many things she's learned about Haruka since they started dating is how possessive he was. Haruka doesn't like it when she speaks with other guys, but even the most little things make him jealous. So he finds a way to stake his claim, whether it's using endearing names or marking her in visible places.

Lila gently ran her hand through his hair, as she caught her breath, "Sorry for waking you," Lila repeated the words she said before he kissed her.

"No, it's fine," Haruka looked towards the TV and nodded, "Are you going to fulfill your promise now?"

Laughter escaped her lips, "You knew?"

"I know most things about you."

Lila understood the meaning behind his words; it's not that he knows most things about her. Haruka knows everything; her gaze softened as she looked back at the TV screen that was playing the broadcast, "Kasumi, she already told me about this. I was shocked and suspicious about her partner at first. But I did my research, and she seems like a nice girl."

Haruka nodded and walked around her until he was standing behind her. He bends down, and his lips were at her neck, as Haruka mumbled softly, "I'll make the preparations for you, just tell me."

He was basically telling her that he would do anything for her.

"Thank you, Haruka, but I should talk about this with Yori."

On the way there, Lila realized that Haruka was sulking. It didn't take her long to understand why and she murmured how much of an idiot he was. So Lila leaned against him, hugging his arm, "Haruka, I'm only going to be gone for a few hours," Lila tried to appease him.

But after she said those words his frown deepened, "Only?"

Her sweatdropped at his reaction, isn't this a bit too much? They are always together these days, so she understands why Haruka would feel a bit lonely. But he's overreacting too much here. Even when she's with her friends, she knows Haruka is somewhere nearby and sometimes - well nearly all the time he joins them. As Jae-hee would say, the two of them are attached to the hip. Lila was about to speak up when she felt Haruka's hand on her lap. Her face turned red, and she looked at him with puffed cheeks, "What are you doing?"

Eventually, the car came to a halt, Lila pulled away and grabbed her stuff. She opened the door and exited immediately, "Ari," Haruka called out.

"I'll let you do the kissing from now on."

Inside the Garden Center

"Did you come here to tell me your love story?" Yori asked.

Lila's cheeks turned red realizing, and she sighed deeply, "I'm sorry. It's just," Lila played with the mug in her hands, "I tend to get a bit worked up when it comes to Haruka."

"Not just a bit, I've never seen you like this with Kiryu. Then again, you've done a bit of growing up since then. Or maybe you were always like this."

Lila paused and thought for a moment before she nodded, "I think I've always been this way. But because I was with Kiryu, I let him spoil me."

"Well, there's nothing wrong with that. The relations.h.i.+p you had with Kiryu was innocent and sweet. It's the perfect example of a high school love story," Yori nodded her head as she said this, "But no relations.h.i.+p can be that sweet and perfect. I was happy when I heard you two got together. However, I realized that there are more problems with you two dating early than later."

Lila doesn't respond to that. If she were, to be honest since she met Kiryu last time. Lila has tried to block him away from her memory. She felt like it was the best option for the two of them. Yori nodded, "I noticed that too. It's like he's purposely dodging the subject. The two of you, are happy correct?" her friend asked, uncertainty filled her tone.

"Yes."

"Then I think that's fine," Yori trailed off and smiled, "Though most people find this saying cliche and stuff. But I believe as long as two people are happy with each other, then their relations.h.i.+p is just fine. I know in the long run you have to talk about Kiryu, but for now, I think it's fine to enjoy yourself…"

Lila noticed her friend indicating to the mark in her neck, and she quickly covered it up - earning laughter from Yori.

"Seems like he takes care of you far too well."

She exhaled deeply, and noticed Yori was staring at her, "Yori?" Lila called out.

Her friend had stood up and made her way over to one of the large plants on the side. Lila thought it was time to water the plants, but Yori didn't take out the watering pot. Instead, her friend stood there and watched for a few minutes, "Truly, there are things one can't avoid talking about forever especially if somebody confronts them so openly.

There's a person I've always admired. At the start, she was clumsy and only had singing on her mind twenty-four seven. But after a single meeting, things changed for her. That single encounter leads to everything changing in her life as an idol and as a normal girl."

Yori smiled, "I'm talking about you of course. From the beginning, you were my inspiration, Teras.h.i.+ma Lila. I know I told you this before, but I will repeat it, Lila, you're the one who gave me my dreams and while I'm searching for another dream. I realized that even this search for a new dream leads me back to you."

"There are many possibilities out there as long as you try," Lila repeated her words from a long time ago. Her gaze softened, "It was the same for me, the reason I was able to get so far was because I knew you were there. Because I knew I had a rival working towards the same dream with me."
