Lila softly laughed, "Haruka? You don't have to be jealous."

It really was an understatement. Lila grew more and more beautiful.

"Um, then I'll hide," Lila nodded to herself, and quickly hide her face with her hands.

Lila's expression turned shy, and he realized how misleading mid words sounded. For once Haruka meant nothing by it, but it seemed like she misunderstood.

"Haruka, can we kiss?" Lily shyly asked him. Huh? What?

Why would he refuse if she's looking at him with those cute eyes of hers? Haruka captured the girl's lips with his and hummed in approval at the moans escaping her lips... She always tasted good.

Haruka was fully aware they were in public, many of the guys who were staring at her immediately looked away. He chuckled in amus.e.m.e.nt. Now he doesn't mind them watching. They should keep watching; they need to know that this woman is his. Need to know that they can't mess with his woman. He liked the idea of staking a claim on her in the middle of the company grounds.

After all, the international branches don't know about him and Lila. She told him about all the stares she gets whenever she came here, and he a.s.sured her he would handle it. Who would have thought Lila would personally send them away by making out with him in the middle of the hallway like this? He hummed against their lips.

His fingers made its way up the girl's skirt when --- the large doors not too far from them opened. "Just get in here already you two! I'm not in a good mood," Soichiro angrily snapped.

Haruka sighed; this guy's bad temper will affect his cute girlfriend.

Once they entered the office, a familiar scent catches Haruka's attention. The drugs, he must have been testing them out. This man Soichiro who is the head of the Underworld is a lot smarter than the average man. That's why the Boss always avoided confrontation with him. The man's office was not as large as the one he had in j.a.pan; Haruka speculated that Lila had something to do with it judging from the interior and everything.

"Can you two stop clinging to each other for a second?"

"You'll infect her with your negativity," Haruka calmly replied as he continued to wrap his arms around Lila protectively.

"Are you stupid?"

The girl in his arms softly laughed, "Haruka, Haruka. It's okay."

"No, I need to protect you."

As silly as it sounds Haruka was serious. He was fully aware of how much of a bad influence this man was towards Lila.

Eventually, Soichiro stopped commenting; he walked around the room for a few minutes before he stopped at a cabinet on the right side of the room. For outsiders, it looked like an ordinary cabinet, but Haruka realized immediately. To think what the Boss was looking for was right in front of them.

Soichiro removed a few files, it didn't open right away, and Haruka realized why. The data were dummies, to activate the switch. The man had to re-arrange them into a complicated pattern, for amateurs and even the most skilled individuals - it would be difficult to do this. However, Soichiro whisked through it like a child playing with building rocks.

Eventually the wall behind where he and Lila were standing opened up, there were no secret staircases or a door leading to a secret room instead there was a large number of doc.u.ments and things engraved on the wall. Haruka's eyes widened, "This?"

"What your boss wants, information regarding Lila's unique circ.u.mstances as a hanyou. Of course, the rest of it is in Teras.h.i.+ma Sumire's hands. But this is the vital information the family willingly shared with us," Soichiro explained. Haruka raised his eyebrows, the family willingly shared? He looked at the man questioningly but found no trace of malice.

It seems like he isn't lying for once.

Haruka's previous encounter with this man was terrible. He was glad Lila wasn't around then. Speaking of Lila during this whole conversation, or since they entered the room...

"What?"

Lila continued to laugh, "Um, I was thinking Haruka. About what we can do later..."

Soichiro voiced out his irritation, "Did you come here to flirt?"

Lila pouted, "I'm angry; you interrupted my time with Haruka for nothing important."

Nothing important? But this was useful information for him to know. Haruka moved a strand of her hair from her face and kissed the temple of her forehead, "I want to learn about this, okay?"

Haruka turned to Soichiro to continue; the man seemed irritated. But he continued speaking regardless. Soichiro tells him information regarding Lila that he didn't know before.
