"And, where did you get to?"

Uh-oh, Lila froze.

She thought that she could sneak back peacefully. But it turns out Haruka isn't a deep sleeper. Well, that's something she already knew. Lila hesitantly turned around, and she's greeted with the sight of a strong presence. There stood Haruka with a frown on his face, "Um, I was just cleaning,"

"Were not at home."

"Um, I went to the market."

"There're no markets nearby."

Her sweat fell, d.a.m.n. All her usual excuses aren't working. Maybe she should just tell him honestly where she was. It's not like she did anything wrong. But why does she feel nervous? Before Lila could say a word, Haruka took a few steps forward and backed her against the wall. His eyes dangerous as his hungry lips fell on her's. Ah, again. Again this is happening.

The next few seconds, Lila allowed Haruka to do whatever he wanted to her. Her feet felt numb, and it was challenging standing up and giving him a kiss considering their height difference.

"uka...more," Lila managed to say.

To her surprise, rather than those words spurring him on, Haruka pulled away from her, "d.a.m.n," he muttered, "What is wrong with you? Why do you never get angry at me? Is there something wrong with you'd head or something?"

Lila looked at him confused, why does he want her to get mad at him?

"I know I did something wrong; I shouldn't have left without saying a word."

"That's stupid," Haruka said with a deep sigh. He ran his hand through his hair, that seemed wet almost because of the sweat. It was only a brief make out, but it made them both sweat uncontrollably, "I won't ask you where you went, I have to respect your privacy. However, don't do something as stupid as leave without saying a word anymore."

Those words were enough to give away his real thoughts. Ah, Haruka must be worried that she would leave and go to j.a.pan. When Sophia left that footage and Lila asked him to give it back to her. Lila knew that he would look. He must know about the tickets; he must think she is planning to use them. But that was not Lila's intention when she took it.

Lila played with Haruka's hair and laughed. He looks a bit childish when she's sleeping. Her thoughts drifted off to the events that happened earlier. Well, she supposes it has become a matter of conveying their feelings physically than through her words. No matter how strongly she songs for him, he won't understand unless she sleeps with him. It seems stupid. Most people would say he is using her for her body. In their eyes, maybe way but Lila knew better than that. They simply don't understand Haruka.

"Haruka, I have to do the photoshoot," Lila muttered against their lips. She was reluctant too. "We can continue later," she concluded.

"During your break, I have a conference."

"Ah," she looked down. This isn't the first time their schedules are conflicting.

"If you catch me at the end of the meeting, you can do what you want," Haruka said, as he pressed a key in her hand.

Lila felt her heartbeat increase at his words, "What I want?"

Haruka smiled, "It's up to you."

Up to her, Lila recalled the events from the last few days and wrapped her arms around his neck as she murmured some things shyly in his ear.

"I don't mind, but will you be okay?"

While Lila chose her outfit for the shoot, her thoughts were in a daze. Maybe she ought to act bolder around him. He would like that, wouldn't he?

"Kiku-San, you have a guest."

"Guest?" Lila looked up and spotted Ameno-senpai's figure at the door. Her sweat fell when she saw the crowd of girls surrounding him. Though Lila was glad to see him, what on earth is he doing attracting this much attention for? A deep sigh escaped her lips, and to think she has walk through that crowd.

Even though he left her waiting, he made a grand entrance. Ameno walked over, and she felt his fingers brush across her hair, "You have flower petals on your hair, and yet despite that, you're carrying a parasol,"

"Well, girls look good with flowers. Even though you are already pretty without it."

" . . The s.h.i.+ning thing... it's you. .."

His lips curve into a smile, "Of course it is," he trailed off his gaze fell on the box she took out. Lila knew he would take a long time, that's why she found a quiet spot and played around with it.

"It's a pretty gun."

" . . . . Even if it's pretty, a gun is still a gun," she murmured. It does not change that it is a weapon of destruction. Something people should loathe.

"Mmmm, if you don't put your finger in it, it'll just become a decoration,"

"Saying stuff like that, like you know something sorta ticks me off," Lila sighed.

Light laughter escaped Ameno's lips, "Haha, mistress seems to be in a bad mood. So maybe I ought to stop with my jokes."

"Ameno-senpai, I'm thinking of going all out during the third round," Lila brought up.

She knew that they kept jumping from one topic to another? However, things have always been like this whenever they talk; nothing is consistent; things are always changing.

"I heard," Ameno reaches over and brought her closer, so her head touched his chest as he caresses her hair. Lila's eyes go wide, as he continued, "Are you afraid? You are, aren't you? If you sing sincerely if you sing with your cage completely unlocked. What sort of monster will be born? You don't want to hurt anyone anymore like you did that time. Because you want music to be something beautiful."

"I... I love Haruka. I don't want these feelings of mine to end up like that."

"It's a good thing I'm in house arrest. By now they should be finding it, everything we've been hiding from them this entire time,"

"s.h.i.+chiro keeps sending me a message, and he called me a crazy person."

A chuckle escapes Ameno's lips, " As expected of s.h.i.+-chan, he's the first to react. But you'd think your doting Kiryu and your boyfriend would be the first to do so,"

They don't want anything to escape their eyes; they want to accept everything even if it goes against their values. A love like that is truly deep."

"I love Haruka. But if my song brings a rift in the love we have. Maybe it would be best for me not to sing for Haruka."

"But you already can't do that anymore."

Lila looked down at the ground; she knew she couldn't deny those words.

" . . . . . . I don't want to change anyone's fates again," Lila murmured. The longer she remained, people's symbol of hope. The longer Haruka will be in pain.

"It's too late for that. You changed it, changed the world I was living in and the shackles of fate that bound me to a cursed fate. You made the people who became dear to me so very happy too. But you also changed something greater than that; you saved and changed me," he paused for a moment and then chuckled slightly, which confused her.

But you destroyed that theory. You'd always have me on the edge of my toes. You always helped anyone who needed a helping hand. You would always do your best to make them happy. Even though you were also suffering yourself, you'd prioritize them first," Ameno's smile widened, "On that day, you made me understand what was the most important to me. It was then when I discovered another side to myself. At the start, you were the only one I intended to show that side to, but things have changed now.
