Dream Star 308 There Are People Who Accept Us

When Lila finally snapped out of her trance and pushed him away. The damage had been done. She saw a security guard make their way over, and she wanted to die on the spot. What was she thinking? Lila kept her head low, while she didn't want to rely on Haruka all the time. Even she had to admit that he was a good talker. It's up to him.

"Karas.h.i.+ma Haruka, you haven't come back in years, and yet you're causing problems," the security guard was a man in his late 40s.

Eh? Does he know Haruka?

However, when Lila looked up, she saw the man scanning her up and down sighing, "What a poor woman, you're just going to throw her away again later. Why bother making a scene? Since it's been a while, I will let you off, but don't disturb public morals," he shook his head disapprovingly.

Lila frowned, she didn't like how this was going. Or rather, 'such a rude police officer,' Lila thought. Is this the way police officers act here? Lila knew what they did indeed fell on the public morals, and as the security guard, he had the right to lecture them. But this isn't just a lecture; he is letting his personal emotions interfere.

However, before Lila could say anything, one of the onlookers stared at Haruka.

"Karas.h.i.+ma... That Karas.h.i.+ma Haruka?"

"Eh, then the girl with him is.."

"Kyahh! It's Ari-sama, I knew they looked familiar. Quick take a picture."

Her sweat fell when she saw a crowd gathered around them. Lila didn't think she was well known enough, so since coming to London, she seldom wore disguises of any kind. But it turned out she ought to have.

"Ari...the woman who is supposedly the one you are most interested in?"

What's with that comment? This police officer is so rude; he's making it sound like this interest is temporary.

"My girlfriend, and my wife," at Haruka's comment the crowing crowd all froze on the spot.

"Wife?"

"Did he just say,"

"Woah, somebody - did somebody record that just now."

"Yep, he said wife,"

Wait—wait? Lila herself panicked alongside the crowd. What on earth is he saying? Why did he say that in front of everybody? While it is true that she accepted. But, but - her thoughts fell when she made eye contact with Haruka. He wore a sheepish smile on his face, and that was the moment she understood. To completely give her heart to someone, it's like this, isn't it?

Hotel XX - Room 5061

"I'm asking them to make arrangements. It's a bit dusty there, so we shall stay in this hotel for a bit," Haruka explained.

Lila nodded; she cautiously looked around. It was a fairly decent hotel. Since her stay in London, Lila has gotten quite used to Western-style hotels. Though she still found the extravagance a bit too much at times. Haruka collapsed on the couch, and Lila looked over. He looks as worn out as ever, and yet she went ahead and fought with him earlier. Still, Lila didn't regret it. If she didn't do what she did, then Haruka would still think it's okay to keep secrets from her. His uneasey feelings would remain. Though his unease won't disappear from that conversation alone, Lila knew that things would be different from now on.

Haruka's lips curve to a smile, "What's the matter with you? You've been acting this way since earlier."

"The people here look at you strangely," Lila pointed out, "When you were talking to the receptionist they kept eyeing you."

"I slept with them before."

"..."

Well, that was straight forward of him. Then again, Sophia did say that Haruka treated women like toys before - so this nonchalant tone shouldn't surprise her, "I'm different?" Lila asked. Though she already knew the answer, she wants to confirm it again.

Haruka smiled, "Yeah, aren't you supposed to be my wife?"

As she recalled what happened earlier, Lila made her way over, and she sat on his lap, "Hey, what was that about?"

"Hmm?"

"You said that in public, and I'm going to reveal my ident.i.ty soon. Didn't you say it would be problematic?"

"I did say that, but relax word won't get out in this place."

Sensing his certainty, though, Lila turned silent. It's like he has control of this place. On the way here, Lila didn't talk much since she was too busy observing her surroundings, that included the people around them. It troubled her being in a place where girls who slept with Haruka are. But it's not like she can avoid it. It's no exaggeration to say that they are everywhere. That part of Haruka's past, he already explained it to her, and she aligned it with the story Sophia told her. Sophia is harsh, but it was like she thought - she knows everything about Haruka. Rather than those girls who knew nothing about him. It was Sophia that bothered her the most.

Lila stared at Haruka; he really is handsome. Isn't it a crime to be born with such good looks? She placed her hand on his face, but Haruka belongs to her now, right? "What are you doing?"

"Claiming."

Haruka chuckled, "I'm already yours."

"It feels like we shouldn't stay here long," Lila murmured. She doesn't get good vibes from anybody on this Island.

"Yeah, after I'm done showing you around we will go right back."

"Okay," she paused, "Were missing the party?"

Haruka nodded, "Do you mind? It looked like you didn't want to go anyway?"

Oh, he noticed. Of course, he did. Lila nodded, "Yes. Itsuki-san bothers me."

"Don't worry about him; I'll make sure he doesn't go near you again."

Lila wondered when was the best time to tell Haruka about the kiss. Quite some time has pa.s.sed since the incidence, so it almost slipped her mind. But when she went in search for Haruka to give her the lunch box. Itsuki-san cornered her again. Thankfully, because it was in a public area - he did not do anything inappropriate like before.

Haruka's hands traced her back, and Lila rolled her eyes, "We already did it before we came to the island, why are you like this already?"

"Now, now. We only did it once, I'm not satisfied with just one time, and you know that."

She does. Lila leaned forward and kissed him. A light kiss quickly turned to a pa.s.sionate one; hands ran through her now exposed back.

"Unnhh, say Haruka?"

"Yeah?"

"I didn't think there would be people who accepted us. Since we started dating, those around us have voiced their disapproval," Lila trailed off. That's right, even amongst their circle many have expressed their concern regarding their relations.h.i.+p. It's true that in the beginning, it may have looked bad. She rejected his advances for so long but slowly he made his way into her heart, and Lila could no longer bring herself to treat him coldly

Haruka stopped his advances on her neck, "Were you worrying about that this whole time?" sensing his concerned tone, Lila shook her head.

"Peoples opinions don't matter to me. I love you, no matter what they say. I won't leave you but, " Lila paused, "I've always hated how they blamed you. They always say disturbing things like your the one who seduced me,"

"Yeah, it's bad, isn't it? You're the one who seduced me,"

"When did I do that?"

Haruka chuckled, "Plenty of times, like now, openly straddling me,"

"I'm only sitting down."

Okay, she isn't that innocent. Lila knew perfectly well what it would mean by sitting on his lap like this. But after seeing the looks those girl's in the reception gave him, she felt herself grow possessive. Lila touched his cheek again, "I wonder if there is a way to make you mine and mine alone."

"There are plenty of ways dearest. But I think you'll die of embarra.s.sment if I tell you," Haruka said.

When she saw his lips curve to a smirk, Lila understood what he meant.

"Is perverted things the only thing you think of?"

"That depends on the person."

"So you'd be perverted to anyone?"

Haruka continued to laugh and Lila's cheeks puffed in annoyance. This isn't funny at all. Her thoughts broke off when Haruka's hands resumed what they were doing before, and her cheeks grew hotter at his touch, "Not just anyone, only you. Rather, I think I'm weird these days. I don't get turned on being around women other than you," Haruka said troubled.

Lila hits his chest lightly, "That's a good thing."

"Is it? I think it's a problem for you; it makes me want to do more things."

A problem, eh? That's not actually a problem for her either. Like she told him on many occasions, Lila liked being touched by him. Still, Lila wrapped her arms around his neck and murmured softly, "I'm glad Haruka, that there are people who do support us," despite the strange vibes she got from people on this Island. The people weren't entirely hostile or negative. The bystanders on the airport all congratulated the two about the news. Though some girls looked at Haruka strangely on the way here, they also said thanks.

Lila had a feeling that she would be meeting with more and more people who cared for Haruka here.
