This man is unbelievable, she can never get a word in edgewise when it comes to him. Then again, it's not like she is against it. Lila nodded and Haruka smiled softly, "Good girl."

Praise, Lila sits closer and allowed Haruka to feed her. Afterward, it came to the drink, Lila felt her heart beating uncontrollably and yet shook it off as they both drank from the straws. The straw was not very large and thus it involved her leaning closer to Haruka.

The next few minutes were rather nerve-racking even for her. Lila had never done anything like this, drinking from the same straw as another person. Lila didn't even know whether she was drinking the contents or not due to her beating heart. All she knew was that the more she drank, the closer it felt like their lips were getting. That was stupid, it's not like the straw will-- just as she thought that she hears a snapping sound and noticed that the straw broke. Since it snapped from the top, their lips made contact with each other briefly.

To her surprise, Haruka moved away.

Lila looked at him puzzled and noticed that his cheeks had turned red. H--he's embarra.s.sed? An embarra.s.sed Haruka! Uwaahh! She needs to take a picture. But, Lila frowned she didn't bring her phone. As these thoughts ran through her mind, Lila recalled something and dove into her pocket. It was Haruka's phone.

Lila quickly found the camera and snapped a photo.

Haruka frowned, "What are you doing?"

"For my collection."

"Collection she says," Haruka trailed off and bent down to kiss her cheeks, "You don't have to do silly things like that."

She doesnt? But since his birthday she has this habit of doc.u.menting every single moment they sped with each other. Lila does not understand it very well, but since then she has felt like time is against her. Even the days that would usually drag on seem to go by very quickly.

Its like somebody is mocking her, somebody is trying to tell her that what she has with Haruka is fleeting, that it will dissappear soon enough. Whenever she thought of it that way, Lila would recall Sophias words and the ticket she had yet to discard but kept in her drawer this whole time. I this fates way of telling her that she and Haruka cant be together?

2 hours later

"Hey, Lila, are you having fun?" Haruka asked, the two of them were standing in the middle of the street and watching the parade.

"Yeah! I'm having a lot of fun!! Its been awhile since I've been this relaxed," Although its enjoyable being with everyone, the feeling of wanting to catch up to them has always been stronger.

"I see… …I'm glad to hear that."

Oh, could this be the reason why he took her out in the first place? To relax? Come to think of it, ever since they became a unit; no since they made that promise last year she's been working harder than ever. Lila doesn't remember a time where she isn't thinking about work.

"That's a good expression, you've surely figured it out now. Your skill level isn't on par with those two yet, there's no doubt about that. However, your not just an average idol either. The way I see it is...you've been way too stressed. Having fun, that simply feeling when your performing helps a great deal you know?"

Haruka continued, "Well I do get where you're coming from also. It's not just Kasumi but your fellow members of the G.o.dess4 and Tachibana has also entered that realm of the talented. Honestly, I was surprised. I didn't think that she would improve that much in such a short amount of time. When we saw her again, it had only been what a month and a half since graduation? Or was it even shorter? For her to have gotten so good in such a short amount of time, it was because Yos.h.i.+kawa Ageha unleashed the potential she had in her."

"That's right when I saw that - I found myself backed to a corner. Just a month and a half ago we were on the same level.. both of us made a separate vow to catch up to Mother and my sister... That time, even though I said that I thought that it would still take much longer. Maybe its because I was thinking that way that I may have unconsciously been taking it easy. However, when I heard of the rumors abroad, it shook something inside me. Before Miu-san came here, I went to visit her secretly. Her stage, everything had become so much better. It scared me. ' Am I the only one? ' ' Can I..can I not join those two on stage?'"

It wasn't just Miu either. In the short time since joining the G.o.ddess4; her idol activities has been developing in great strides every day. There are no traces left of how they were back in middle school, and yet Lila always felt like she was lacking something.

Haruka nodded, "Feelings of frustration like that aren't uncommon. But seeing how your two closest friends made that much impact, you probably felt as though your efforts weren't enough. While I agree you can't catch up to them the way you are now, forgetting the basics like enjoying being on stage will only further put you in the red."

" ....Was that supposed to be encouragement? "

He simply smiles.

This person truly is strange. It seems as though he took her here to make her remember; and yet he says critical things so easily. Wait...' the way you are now?'... ...Oh.... could it be...

"Thank you."

"Are you only going to thank me?" Haruka said amused.

Lila looked at him blankly not understanding what he was getting at.

"Aren't we much closer than that now?"

Closer, realization struck her and Lila looked around cautiously. Since this is a hanyou carnival being intimate in public isn't unusual at all. But even then Lila still found herself acting nervous. Lila tugged on Haruka's hand and pulled him away.

She found a secluded spot in between some stands that weren't being used, and Haruka pushed her against the wall. Eyes locked on hers, as he gently caressed her hair, "Don't be afraid, do you know how much I love you?"

She knows. She has known for a very long. How much love this man has for her. Lila shook her head, "I'm not scared."

"Only you, only you wouldn't be scared of me. That's the one thing that hasn't changed after so long. Your love for me," Haruka muttered, "Even though you fell in love with somebody else in between, I know the love you have for me has always remained there deep down."

"Haruka, I---the two of us.."

"You want to marry me huh, hey do you really know what that means?"

What that really means?
