Dream Star 351 Not Easy To Forge

The more games that they played Lila noticed something, 'It's like these games are trying to remind her why she likes Kiryu,' Lila thought. At first, she thought it was a sheer coincidence because there is no way that can be the case. But after the recent game, Lila figured that was the case. Haruka must have noticed something was amiss too, since he took her hand, "Shall we go somewhere?"

Lila agreed, and the two of them quickly left the bench and took a stroll around the grounds instead.

While she clung to Haruka's arm though, she couldn't help but think whether or not it was just a coincidence. Selichan has feelings for Kiryu though, so why would she set up games that would remind her of her feelings for him? It made little sense to her. But what she does know is that Selichan has changed a great deal in contrast to how she was before.

Lila didn't know what brought on this sudden change, but what she knows is that it's dangerous for Kiryu. She and Kiryu are friends now, so it's okay for her to intervene right?

It's then Lila smelled it, Haruka's neck - she didn't know what it was. But all of a sudden she felt a rush. Her cheeks turned red. Eh? Why is it like this now? It wasn't like this before.

"What's wrong? Your red."

"N-nothing," she stammered. Of course, that was a lie. Here she was observing her ex the whole time during the party and talking about her scent fetish, etc. How getting close to her ex rendered her speechless. But she failed to notice how good her boyfriend smelled. Gosh, she's awful. But noticing just now made her knees feel wobbly. Maybe this is what Jae-hee would call pheromones or something.

However, it's never too late to notice these things. Lila wrapped her arms around Haruka's neck, and his lips broke into a sly smirk, "What are you doing?"

"Getting close."

Haruka's lips grazed her cheek, "You want to make out?" The way he asked her to make out made her body grow hot, "Lila, your getting turned on."

"I—I am not," she stammered.

He only laughed, "So, okay if you don't want to. Shall we chat and walk around? I never actually looked at your school properly before, so it would be a good chance now to look around."

Indeed every student should be at the barbeque party. Still, Lila buried her face in his neck, "You have to take responsibility, can I drink?"

Haruka smiled, "Go ahead," she didn't hesitate as she bit into his neck. With everything going on lately, it felt like it had been a very long time since she last drank from her boyfriend in this manner. Now that she is getting a taste of his blood after so long, Lila understands exactly why it felt like something was missing before when she was drinking from Kiryu. But, a part of her recognized. The monster inside of her still craves Kiryu, still wants to drink from him.

It isn't easy, huh, to forget the one she loved for so long. Lila had been doing her best and trying; she thought she was doing well. However, it seemed like the only reason she could keep her heart closed up was because she wasn't able to see him. Now that she can see Kiryu every day, she realizes many things she neglected to do so before. Stuff about their relations.h.i.+p that went wrong before, things that they didn't tackle together because either was too afraid of hurting the other party.

That's why Lila wanted to forget, even if it's just for a moment. How come even though she loves Haruka so deeply, that person has yet to leave her heart truly? It was like that when she was with Kiryu too. Maybe there is something wrong with her. Perhaps, even now, the concept of love is something beyond her. Lila didn't know what it was. But one thing is for sure, the love she has for Karas.h.i.+ma Haruka is real. This time around, she won't lose it.

A few minutes later

"You okay?" Haruka asked.

"F-fine," she managed to get some words out as she buried her face in his arms, "n.o.body, saw right?"

Haruka smiled and nodded, "n.o.body, saw," he repeated, "I'm glad if they saw your body, they'd want you."

Lila hits him, "Idiot,"

"I'm serious," he murmured, "You're so pretty, and you keep getting prettier every day, maybe I should lessen the s.e.x. You're always glowing every day because of it."

"Then lessen it."

"It was just a pa.s.sing thought dearest; I'm not letting you escape from me."

But even if they don't do it every day, it's not like her feelings for him would change. She would still love him this much. However, as she said before, if this erases Haruka's unease, then she doesn't mind it. Although she probably ought to work on her stamina more. Her whole body ached all over. Lila glanced over and saw that Haruka was just fine. This man is truly a beast; after doing it so many times. How come he is still okay? It's unfair! Her thoughts broke off when Haruka took something out of his bag.

A small box and inside was, several square buns, "Wahh? Meat buns!" Lila exclaimed happily.

Haruka smiled, "Yeah, I got some for you earlier. Sorry, it's gotten a bit cold now, you came on to me, that's why."

Lila blushed, why does he have to word it like that? She did not come on to him, way to twist the story. He's the one who was practically all over her, almost as though he read her thoughts, Haruka brushed his thumb across her lips, "But, after I backed down, you started it."

Well, that part is true. Lila stared at him, "Is that bad?"

"Not at all, just unexpected."

Unexpected, huh? But she wants him to get used to it. Get used to her starting the intimacy between them. Lila reached out for one of the buns, but it and moved towards Haruka's lips, "Feeding Haruka."

He looked at her dumbfounded before he burst into laughter, "You really are something else, huh?"

Why is he laughing, she's serious here? Does he not want to be fed? As these questions ran through her mind, Lila didn't notice his gentle gaze until he scooped her up in his arms, "Maybe we should ditch the party."

"Okay, let's go home," Lila agreed.

Meanwhile, a fight had broken out in the party.

It all started with her innocent question, asking where Lilchan had gone. Kotori regretted it immediately, somebody else overheard that question and seeing that both Haruksan and Lilchan were gone. The bas.h.i.+ng began. However, with Jae-hee around, those words were immediately shot down in the seconds.

Jae-hee then starts commenting how stupid this party is, at least it was all fun and that before the games began. Since Fujisaki Selia is the one in charge of the games, loads of people focused their attention on sure. Loads of people who weren't members of Universal Star academy were also present.

So after Jae-hee pointed that out, loads of people started whispering. Currently, the girl's face was beet red, and she was avoiding eye contact when Jae-hee continued, "I mean, don't you think it's funny? She makes a whole game out of the knowledge she gained from her stalking."

Kotori's sweat fell, 'Ouch, as brutal as ever,' Kotori thought. For somebody who insists that the people around her aren't her friends but simple acquaintances. Jae-hee sure did a great job defending people. Kotori turned to the blonde hair girl on her right, who had just finished arguing with another girl regarding Lilchan.

"Yumeko-chan, can you go search for her?"

"Don't worry; I saw her leave with Harukkun," Yumeko a.s.sured her.

So they found each other, that's good. Kotori lets out a relieved sigh. However, no sooner had she done so, she hears a clattering sound — a dark aura wrapped around Jae-hee.

"I've had enough," Jae-hee declared, "You," she pointed at Selia, "Are absolutely ridiculous, do you not think I can't see right through your ridiculous plans? You're trying to make yourself look like the saint that understands Austin Kiryu and Lila, the girl who abandoned him. People here should know the story better, though; there was no abandoning. She was forced to leave because of her illness, and all generations of the Teras.h.i.+ma family women go through this."

Kotori sweat fell, well here it goes. She did try to warn everyone, really she did. Since she arrived, Kotori was trying to ease the situation by making friendly talk with everybody. But it seems like these people really want to dig their grave.

"And, we all know that Fujisaki Selia is stalking Austin Kiryu. I mean, he's never given her the time of day, and yet she knows so much about him."

"That's not true, the two of us--"

"Is that true Kiryu-sama?"

Austin Kiryu, who was looking away this whole time, deeply sighed, "Well, I'd like to remain loyal. Selia and I were friends before but not so much anymore."

Ouch, that stung. But loyal, huh?

After that the atmosphere was awkward and people seemed to stay in their respective groups. A deep sigh pa.s.sed her lips, she is no good when things get like this. If only everybody would get along with each other.

Her thoughts broke off when somebody pa.s.sed her a cup. It belonged to Austin Kiryu, "Ah, thank you very much."

"You're Lila's friend?"

Kotori nodded.

"Thank you for looking after her."

"No, she's helped me out a lot," she trailed off. Would it be wise to ask? But this will be the only chance she can get, "Austin-san, I have a few questions. Do you mind answering them?" Kotori asked.

"Hmm? Sure."

Initially, she thought he was a scary guy because of the rumors. But from the looks of things, 'seems like an okay guy,' Kotori thought.

"If you still love Lilchan, why did you let her go?"

It was straightforward and bold of her. But Kotori has wanted to know this for a very long time now.

"Well, you're pretty blunt."

"S—sorry."

Kiryu laughed, "Don't mind, don't mind. Let's see why did I let her go? Well, I really didn't want to," he emphasized the really, "But, I knew Karas.h.i.+ma needed her."

"But what about yourself?" Kotori asked, "Don't you need her too?"

"If you love somebody as much as me and Lila loved each other, it's difficult to forget," Kiryu trailed off and nodded, "However, as difficult as this is. I'd rather not ruin her happiness."
