There is something different, because if Haruka was like normal. He would have touched her already. But instead, he is simply cornering her against the window and not saying a word as he looks at her with those piercing eyes of his. As each minute pa.s.sed by, she felt the temperature in the car increase. At that moment, she was impatiently murmuring in her head, 'Just do it, just do it,' like usual. Why doesn't he just touch her? A part of her thought that maybe just maybe he would move away from her, perhaps he wants to respect her and have a regular date for once. But another part wanted him to continue this.

He was centimeters away from her face, and by the way, Haruka kept looming over her, Lila knew if he wanted, Haruka could easily lean down and press his lips along her jawline. Lila bit her lip, as she felt his breath linger on her neck, and forced herself to keep her body still. His other hand was traveling up her thigh, and before she knew it, his fingers brushed against her skirt, "You, are tempting me," Haruka muttered.

"I—'m not," Lila stammered, she hit his chest lightly, "Stupid, stupid, what are you doing to me?"

Haruka laughed, "Are you nervous?"

She is, he usually would just take her. Normally, he would just, Haruka cupped her cheeks, "Look at me,"

Lila refused, not now. She can't look him in the eyes now.

"Suit yourself; I was going to let you decide what I'd do first."

Ah? But Lila didn't get a chance to think of it anymore as the sound of clothes being removed filled the car. 'This idiot, idiot,' just when she thought he would not do anything to her. He suddenly goes ahead and does it.

She loved every moment of it. The way he was kissing the side of her neck. The way his arm was wound possessively around her waist, the way he called her name.

When Lila woke up, she found herself alone in the car. Haruka's jacket wrapped around her, "Huh? Haruka?" Lila looked out of the window. They were no longer in the car parking lot; instead, they seemed to have arrived at the meadows on the outskirts of town. What are they doing here? Is this his big surprise? Lila stood up and hurriedly left the car and joined Haruka who was by the railing.

Haruka smiled and hugged her, "Hey, had a nice rest?"

"Ah-huh," Lila looked over at the railing, they were practically in the middle of nature. Aside from this area and the modern cabins nearby, "This was your surprise?"

"Kind of, were staying here overnight if you don't mind," Lila shook her head, she doesn't mind. But does this mean they are going to have a proper date? Lila stared at him, curiously before she clung to his arm. Haruka smiled, "Happy my Princess?"

"Very," Lila nodded. She doesn't understand what brought this on all of a sudden. There was the home date thing recently too. But maybe Haruka is genuinely putting in some more efforts with their relations.h.i.+p. If he's going to do that, then it would be strange if she didn't do the same. Lila leaned into my arm, "I'm very happy if we can spend more time like this together... Then..," she trailed off, 'Then I don't have to worry?' Lila knew that wasn't it. Even if they spend days together like this, "..."

Haruka must have sensed his unease since he brought his arms around her, "I don't want to worry you anymore. I love you so much; I want you to know that."

Ah, so this is because of her strange behavior last time, "I'm just afraid Haruka, there are many people who are against us being together. People who will do anything to break us apart," she is worried that the love they have isn't strong enough to stand it. But she loves him so much; she doesn't want to part with him no matter what. However, what can they do when they have enemies lurking in every corner?

Lila has spent countless sleepless nights worrying about this matter, ever since Sophia found the crack in her act and called her over. Sophia figured out her weakness, 'not knowing Haruka's past,' that has always bothered her. Lila didn't want something like that to obstruct their relations.h.i.+p. But as more time pa.s.sed by, Lila realized that it was absolutely necessary to know. The moment she expressed interest in learning right in front of her enemy is the moment she lost.

"I won't let them get to us, your finally mine. Why would I let you go," Haruka gently placed a kiss on her forehead, "Lila, I know this is hard for you. But you have to trust me. No matter what happens, no matter what news you hear. You have to trust me."

"News..?"

Haruka frowned, "Recently somebody gave me a mission to go to certain places. I'm going to take a wild guess that somebody like Sophia is there, and the paparazzi will snap pictures of us together," Lila didn't have to inquire what he meant by specific places.

"Ah," Lila murmured, "But isn't that too..."

"Yeah, it's kind of stupid. What if I don't show? Even though I'm back in the organization now, I'm actually not obeying their orders much. Of course, other than Mei's matter, they haven't given me much work. So this sudden, order screams suspicion."

"Would anything change your mind?"

"Unless they use you against me, I doubt it."

"What if they use Aizawsan?" Lila asked. Even though she disliked the girl, Lila knew that the girl did nothing wrong. Other than lip lock with her boyfriend despite knowing they are together, but she isn't going to dwell on that now, "That girl is too naive, she doesn't know the ways of this circle."

Haruka doesn't reply for a while until she stepped on his foot, "Now dearest..."

"Are you really going to be swayed by that?" she questioned him while glaring.

Haruka laughed, "Your acting very adorable right now. Is it simply because you're jealous?"

"This isn't funny," Lila muttered, "This kind of thing, thankfully you told me. I'll deal with it for you."

Haruka smiled, "Mm, got it. My wife is, eh?"

"Of course," she won't let anybody get in the way of their relations.h.i.+p or bully Haruka.

"Capable in bed too, " Lila stepped on his foot again, and Haruka sighed, "What? I'm just being honest."

"Even if you are, this isn't the time for that geez."

Haruka, however, wouldn't drop the topic, "But, I've wanted to talk to you about this. You really have gotten better, you know?"

Lila blushed, but she calmly replied, "That's because we do it every day," it's only natural for her to learn things, "I'm still not very good though, so you'll have to teach me."

Haruka only laughed as he nuzzled his face against her hair, "So adorable."

Haruka is acting very different today. Usually, he is nervous and uneasy whenever they are together. Whenever they have s.e.x, it always feels like he is in a rush. Lila didn't hate it though; she understood the reason why he acts that way. Haruka is worried that he would lose her. So seeing this side of him all carefree was puzzling, but she doesn't dislike this.

"Haruka, um what are we going to do first?"

"Mmm, I was thinking of dinner. You won't have the strength for eating later," despite how casually Haruka said it Lila felt her cheeks grow hotter and hotter. She was thankful it was dark; otherwise, he would see - no wait he's a hanyou. He can still see her, so Lila brought her hands to her face and hid her red cheeks.

They are going to have a regular date, but it seems like things will be usual at night. No, tonight it seems like things will be worse. Ahhh, what did she get herself into?
