Dream Star 37 Miracle Meeting Under The Stars 11

Lila quietly tiptoed out of the room, the last thing she wanted to do was leave; considering how worried Soichiro was about her. She's never seen him look so panicked before. A wincing pain spread through her head, but Lila ignored it as she slowly leaves the building. It was much easier for her to sneak out than she originally thought. The guards stationed around the building, for some reason, left one of the exits empty. Isn't it odd that Soichiro slept this early? Maybe, it was deliberate?

She found herself dragging her feet, the pain in her head served as a reminder that she ought to stay put and turn back. She wants to meet with Kiryu as quickly as she could. Today will be the only chance she will get. Lila pulled out the stone from her pocket and closed her eyes. She wanted to see him. Her Kiryu. A mere glimpse will do, simply allow her to meet with him. The sudden bright light broke her thoughts. Oh, there's something familiar about this.

Seeing that the place was completely deserted. Kiryu was close to giving up; however, he finds the alleyway being covered in a familiar blue light. . . . On the way out, Kiryu recalled his mother's words, and he blinked. Could it be....? Kiryu hesitantly follows the light; gradually increased his footsteps in the process; before he knew it he was led to the place he intended to take her. And... there she was, in the balcony. Noticing the bandages on her head though, he frowned slightly. Did she get hurt
on her mission?

It was nothing short of a miracle.

After spending so many painful days without each other, the two of them were reunited in the most unexpected way. Lila spent the next few minutes crying and she was; finally able to calm down. Kiryu simply chuckled and calls her cute.

"You're a bully Kiryu."

"Yes, yes. Say, there's something glowing around your neck. What is that?"

She sensed his tone she almost laughed, did he think she got a present from someone again? Her gaze softened, he really hasn't changed at all. "It's an energy stone. I made it a few days ago."

Koutkun made the suggestion to her when he saw her getting sick. 'If you store a bit of power in these stones every day, you should regain your strength a little.'

That's true, ever since she tried it, she's been feeling alright. It was the reason she could go on the mission and draw out her flames. Seeing Kiryu's questioning gaze, she tilted her head in confusion.

"You made an energy stone? You? Don't you remember...you made one before and it was tiny.."

At that comment, her cheeks turned red as she recalled the embarra.s.sment from the past. Why does he have to remember that for?

"I did make it though, Koutkun was watching over me. He can be really strict but I managed it.", Kiryu regardless of her explanation looked at her with a questioning gaze. Ah, he's bullying her. "Kiryu, you bully! I really made it. Do I have to make one in front of you to believe? You're supposed to be praising me.."

And he's supposed to be spoiling her too.

Kiryu chuckled, "You really like being spoilt eh? You're as weird as ever."

She's weird?

"But really, I was just a bit surprised. To think you can do something like this now.."

Sensing his tone, Lila understood what he was getting at. It's only been a short amount of time, but the two of them have changed. It's not just her, it's Kiryu too. Surely, there are new things about him, that she doesn't know... That's why, she has to tell him, how important this is. She didn't just create this to help herself. If she did, surely she wouldn't have made it so well. Lila took a deep breath.

"When I created this stone, a lot of feelings I had been holding back was unleashed. I realized it for the first time since we were apart from each other. When I'm not beside others, I become really uneasy. I'm a wreck. That's why when creating this, it turned out more beautifully than it should have since I was thinking about you, mother, father, and everyone else. Everyone important to me."

That's why the stone glowed stone brightly and prevented her from sustaining any proper damage. That's the reason Soichiro could find her.

"So this stone, it represents the deep feelings and emotions I have for everyone. It's different than when I'm singing for everyone, with the stone I can truly see it as being a part of myself. Ah, but then again I was really thinking about you like crazy Kiryu. Cause um you know you have the biggest part of my heart, mind and soul. Um, I was thinking about the praise you would be giving me, so not being praised and spoilt now is sort of unexpected." she pauses seeing Kiryu remain silent, normally
he would comment now.

Is what she's saying that weird? No, that's not it. He's waiting. Waiting for her to get to the main point, the conclusion she came up with. Lila removed the necklace from her neck and placed in Kiryu's hand, as she shyly said, "This is for you Kiryu, this stone that represents my feelings. The love I have for you. Um, there's a lot of ways to show I love you. But, since this is like my heart. I want you to have it."

Her heart. All of it belongs to Kiryu. From the very beginning, she has never considered giving it to anyone else. But, even if she does fall in love with someone else, she will never be able to give them her whole heart. That's why she's sorry Harukkun. He's probably waiting for her. But she'll never come. Even though Soichiro told her it's useless to stay, and dragged her back.

A miracle happened. Was it because of the wish she made on the stone? But, she followed this bright light to a familiar
hill and then..the two of them met each other.

"I want us two to be happy forever like I said before...I want to create a bright future with you."

Sensing his silence, she panicked. Is she really being too weird? Lila knew, even for her all of this may be a bit too much. To her surprise, Kiryu lifted the stone to his lips, uwaah? "So, basically Lila. This is your side of the proposal?"

P--r--propose? Oh, come to think of it she was the only one who didn't... While she wasn't intending for it to be like that, this is the perfect opportunity. It may be the only opportunity she will get for a while. So, she should take it; because they will change even more. She wants to a certain their feelings. "Ah-huh, I love you Kiryu. I want to be with you forever as my husband."

To her surprise, she found a hint of red on Kiryu's cheeks.

Wahhh? He's embarra.s.sed.

"d.a.m.n, your so stupid and strange. I almost forgot how foolishly honest you are...Then again that's one of the reasons I love you."

Lila tilted her head in confusion, and Kiryu suddenly climbed over the wall, eh? But she thought...

"Hah, it worked. I'd been concentrating since the start. But you were distracting me with your cute words, so I wasn't sure at first."

Her Kiryu.

Just now when they were talking with the wall between them, it still felt like a dream. It's different now though.

Kiryu walked over and extended his hand out to caress her cheeks.

"You're beautiful."

"M--Y Kiryu, um um!!"

"Seems like I can slip through it. Well ..." she cuts him off as she embraced him tightly.

"....Mmm, there's your nice scent."

"Aahhwahh...my Kiryu, my Kiryu!!!"

The set of tears she held back these past 21 days came cras.h.i.+ng down.

"Cutting this close, but Happy Birthday.."Kiryu murmured softly against her ear.
