Still, Haruka's connections are amazing . Lila thought she already knew the extent of his influence in the business and entertainment world . But it turns out there are a lot of things she still doesn't know about him . While it bothered her greatly, Lila knew she couldn't complain about it . Besides, since it's Haruka, she will eventually learn about it, anyway . He isn't the type of person who would keep things from her; that's why Lila knew it would just be a matter of time . "You're just stupid," her sentence fell short when she felt Haruka adjust her seat, so she was now laying down . "H--Haruka, wait your driving . . "

"There's an auto mode, and I took a quieter road on purpose . "

T--this sly man, why is he so stupid? Such stupid plans .

- Lila's apartment-

When Lila next opened her eyes, she's in the bedroom of her apartment . A deep sigh pa.s.sed her lips when she realized she couldn't move, and her whole body ached all over . Haruka is so stupid at times, but well maybe it's her fault for going along with his whims .

Her thoughts broke off when she hears voices . Is somebody here? Lila frowned and took out a few tablets from the draw and swallowed them . It tasted bitter as usual, but Lila regained her strength . She immediately got up and fixed her appearance . Lila slipped on one of Haruka's s.h.i.+rts alongside and made her way out of the room, and down the hallway . Perhaps she was uneasy because it didn't take her long to cross the long hall .

Haruka wasn't alone, and like she thought he was with a girl . Thankfully, the two were sitting opposite each other and not doing anything intimate . Lila deeply sighed, why is she getting all paranoid for? If Haruka wants to cheat on her, he could have easily done so a long time ago . Besides, the girl that was with Haruka was somebody she was all too familiar with .

"Harukkun, why do you want to disgrace me like that?"

Aizawa Mei, the innocent girl that Haruka met when they were in London and supposedly her fan . Lila doubted it though, while the girl had clearly gone to her concerts before . She got a bad feeling from her .

Haruka sighed, "Look Aizawa, even if I don't say it . The media will see it with their own two eyes that I'm still focusing on Lila, so it's better that I say it beforehand . "

Lila immediately understood the situation . Aizawsan must have come here after learning what arrangements Haruka made . Seeing the innocent girl's tears didn't make her feel anything . In the beginning, Lila genuinely believed that Aizawa Mei was innocent . Sophia herself admitted to setting the girl up . So what reason did Lila have to blame her? But then there was that kiss and confession . Even then Lila let that slide, she said nothing or bothered to confront the girl about it . It's okay, that girl is just confused . Lila did a quick background check, and the girl's files came out clean . She just got confused and misunderstood after being kissed the first time .

That's what she thought initially, but as time went by the girl grew even bolder and bolder with her actions — joining Haruka's company, using his first name - inviting him out . Then there was that scene that caught on tape . Lila strolled into the room and walked over to Haruka, she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him .

"Uhnnhh, my little minx . What are you doing?"

"Tasting . "

Haruka chuckled, "I see, do I taste nice?"

No, he tastes bitter . Did Aizawa try to kiss him again? She can smell a bit of perfume, Lila frowned and then turned to the girl . Aizawa Mei wore simple and conservative looking clothing, yet the aura around the girl felt the same as Rosalichans .

"Now that your here Aizawsan, I'd like to discuss a few things with you . "

"I've already heard about the details . I'm in no position to disagree," Mei said quietly .

Lila rolled her eyes at the sight . Anybody who saw this scene would think she is bullying her . How stupid, does this woman think she doesn't know? Aizawa Mei kept her bag close to her, so Lila could see it . The girl's handbag was slightly open, and there she could see a small camera . It was tiny though; one would not be able to tell it's a camera at first sight . Haruka probably couldn't tell .

Whatever happened here today, Aizawa clearly had every intention to film it . Now since the seducing plan failed, she's going to change her plans to make it look like she's the bully . How pathetic, this girl, 'isn't innocent at all,' Lila thought .

"No, we can speak about that when our companies arrange the meetings . Today, I'm going to talk about more personal affairs," Lila let Haruka go . She stood up and picked up a little tape from the chest of drawers on the side . She slipped it into the TV player, and there was the scene from the hotel the other day .

Mei's eyes widened horrified .

"About this, I wonder if you can explain it to me?"

"This . . . oh gosh, I'm so sorry, Haruka . I didn't think . . . we would get caught, I'm sorry . . . "

Lila's eyes twitched in annoyance . Is this woman serious? She's playing this kind of game with her?

"The two of us are lovers . . . "

"Hahaaa," Lila laughed, "Lovers? Miss Aizawa, you must be joking . "

"I understand this is hard for you to accept . But we've gone to more than one hotel together . "

Lila deeply sighed, this girl rehea.r.s.ed her lines well didn't she? More than one hotel, huh? But they were probably only doing company-related things there . Lila drank Haruka's blood so many times since he met Aizawa Mei . Not once has he cheated on her . Even if she didn't see this footage, she would have learned about the incidence from that night anyway .

"Aizawa Mei, you really are pus.h.i.+ng your luck with me . You have such a squeaky clean past that it's suspicious . But, I won't dwell on that . If you keep trying to seduce my husband, I won't let you off," Lila clicked the increase volume sound on the remote .

The conversation from that night plays and Mei looks down, "We were fighting . . . "

Is this woman still going to try this? "I won't sell this to the media, but you should stay clear from him . "

"Uw . . . uw," Mei cried, "I'm sorry . But I like him a lot . Why do you have to be so mean?"

Her thoughts broke off when Haruka got up and pa.s.sed Mei a handkerchief .

"Alright now, enough you two . "

. . . Does Haruka like innocent girls like this? For a split moment, Lila is confused when Haruka continued .

"Aizawa, I already made myself clear the other day . If you want me to respect you as an individual still, you can take your leave now and don't cause my wife any more problems . "

"Haruka," Mei sobbed, she tugged on his arm, "I won't do it again, so don't get angry at me anymore . "

Haruka simply sighed, "I'll walk you out," he quickly turned to her and smiled, "And you, get ready for round two . "

Lila flushed, 'Round two? She's sure they are way past that,' Lila waves him off and watches as the two left the room . A relieved sigh pa.s.sed her lips . How frustrating, having to deal with that type of woman . It's easy dealing with people like Rosalichan . At least with them, anybody could tell they are pure evil .

But with girl's like Aizawa Mei, the strong one will look like the bully, in this case, it would be her . Lila didn't know how she would handle the press conference in a few days . She disliked Aizawa Mei after all . Lila was sure that her expression would give her away . Well, she supposes that it just gives the media more gossip material .

She must have fallen asleep, since when she woke up . Haruka is laying beside her, Lila reached over and touched his cheeks . Did that woman try to kiss him again? He looks exhausted . That company of his, she really ought to do something about it soon . However, Lila doesn't understand why Haruka stays in that place . She is sure with his power and connections; it would be easy for him to leave the place . Yet he still remains there .

'Be careful; there's a connection between Zane and Karas.h.i.+ma . '

Soichiro's words rang through her mind, a connection? She frowned, what kind of connection would Haruka have with such a dangerous man . Then again, Haruka is dangerous too is he not?

Her thoughts broke off when he stirred awake, and his lips met hers, "Sorry, I fell asleep too . "

"It's fine, aren't you tired? You should rest more . "

These days she falls asleep before him, when she does, he's either working by her side or on the phone . When she wakes up in the morning, he's either gone before her or still working away on his laptop, "I understand that work is important to you Haruka . Lila however, still wasn't satisfied . Haruka must have understood that since he pushed her down onto the couch, "Dear, why don't I continue? You know, round two . "

Cheeks flushed red, Lila muttered, "Stupid . " What round two? How many times have they done it today? "I just want to chat, can we?"

Haruka paused but nodded, "You want to talk?"

"Ah-huh, let's chat and get close . "

The second thing was her real goal . To take down Aizawa Mei, Lila will need more information . The one who will be providing that for her is, Haruka anyway .
