"H--Haruka . "

"I love you," Haruka said these words as he brushed his hands on her thighs . Lila flinched! d.a.m.n, she should have known .

"Don't do that; it's cheating . "

Haruka laughed, and Lila pouted . How unfair of him . But she really does love him a lot . Is it the same for him? At times she can't help but wonder . Haruka isn't the only uneasy one .

"Why don't we take a break?"

"Break time, break time," Lila said happily as she snuggled up to him, meatball in hands .

"Say," Haruka spoke up .

"Yes, Haruka?"

"Your really chirper all of a sudden . Doesn't your head still hurt?"

Her gaze softened, so he noticed, huh? Of course, Haruka isn't that much of an idiot . Though he mainly has s.e.x on his mind, he's considerate and kind to her too, "It hurts, but I can bear with the pain you know?"

A frown appeared on Haruka's face, "Hey, is it that bad?" Haruka placed his hand on her forehead, "You seem feverish too . "

He's so warm; she leaned leans onto his palm, its really comfortable whenever he touches her . Haruka suddenly drew his back, causing her to pout, "Haruka, I was just getting comfortable !!"

"I didn't think you'd be so blunt about it . "

Lila rolled her eyes, "Why do I have to hide what I want?"

"You're rather persistent about this," Haruka seemed very puzzled, but Lila simply carried on .

"Cause I like it! But why did you pull your hand back? "Usually he would end up teasing her and then they'd become intimate . "Ah, is it because you're still thinking of Aizawa . . . "

Lila said it on a whim, but she peeked over and noticed that his expression had changed slightly . Bingo, so that's it . Exactly what did Aizawa Mei do to get Haruka so concerned about her? Is it because Aizawa is defenseless, and he feels the need to protect her or something? But, why would he feel that way in the first place?

Aargh, no good . The more she thought about it, the more confused she got . She has to find out why that woman is acting so confident when nothing happened between her and Haruka .

Lila quickly interjected so that's it? "Haruka, I'll get angry . "

"Pfft, you already sound angry . "

"I know it's difficult for you to like yourself; it's the same for or me . We're both beings of darkness after all . But as long as we have each other, we can overcome anything right---" her sentence falls short when he brushes his forehead against hers, murmuring silly girl . Ah . . . she cheered him up, right?

After a short while, Haruka lets her go and picked up her guitar .

Maybe it's okay for her to kiss him now? She's been wanting it since he entered the room . Lila thought back to him, admitting that he harmed himself . He could have easily taken another person's blood at that time . But instead, he chose that painful method . Haruka's feelings for her are clear, but he doesn't know how to draw the line between him and other people .

"Are you listening to me?"

"Ahuh, I like looking at your fingers when you play the guitar," Lila trailed off, " . . . and something else," she murmured . Haruka seldom picked up an instrument unless it is necessary after all .

"So your not listening . Well, that really is like you . "

So not listening is like Hmmmm, Haruka really notices such small details about her . But, so did that person .

"If you listen, we can kiss for a bit . "

"I'm listening!"

To her surprise, Haruka burst into a fit of laughter, "That works like a charm, huh?"

Is he teasing her? Gee, still, that bright smile of his has to be cheating .

"So, about your new single . I know you've been giving it a lot of thought . But maybe that's where you're going wrong . You, rarely need to think about what sort of style your singing . The melodies naturally come to you . "

Oh, that's right . . . Whenever she composed songs, she usually thinks deeply about another person, and then everything comes naturally . It was the same with this song too; she took out senpai's song .

Lately, she's been thinking a lot about senpai; even though . . . it's futile now . Because she chose Harukkun over senpai, earlier she dropped by, but he seemed to be sleeping . She ought to stop by again later . He doesn't drink his medicine unless she's around .

Lila deeply sighed, and she shook her head . Bothering senpai all the time isn't a good idea . Even when she was dating Kiryu, Kiryu easily misunderstood their relations.h.i.+p,

"That's right," Lila peeked at him, "Jealous?"

"Oi, quit justifying my gloomy tone with jealousy?"

"Are you telling me you're not jealous?"

"It's more like rather than be jealous; I just want to trust you," Haruka mumbled .

Trust, huh? "Haruka, do you really think another guy can't s.n.a.t.c.h me away?"

"What are you implying?"

"I know you've been worrying about it the entire time . But, up till now, I've always rea.s.sured you that it won't happen . However, what if I stopped rea.s.suring you, would you get the wrong idea?"

" . . . Why are you saying this now?"

Lila sighed, "I feel exhausted lately . I love you, and you love me . But why are things this way now?"

At that comment, Haruka stopped playing the guitar and sat down beside her, "Lila nothings changed . "

"But you feel different these days," Lila murmured . He feels so distant from her . How come? She already got him away from that company . Lila recalled Aizawa Mei's face and clenched her fist . Is it because of that woman? Is that why? But nothing happening between the two . So, why does she still feel so bad and depressed?

"What do I have to do, to prove to you that you're wrong? Tell me," Haruka urged her .

What does he have to do?

"Give me your phone Haruka," Lila murmured .

Haruka takes it out, and Lila shook her head, "Work phone . "

" . . . "

"You can't?"

Haruka shook his head, "No, take it," he takes out another one from his pocket .

Her gaze clouded when she saw the call and message history . That woman keeps calling Haruka all the time . But from the looks of it, Haruka has never called her, and his replies to her messages are very brief .

"Lila?"

"Am I acting unreasonable Haruka? I just don't understand; I feel very strange," Lila murmured . Why does she feel this way? Haruka has done nothing wrong . All those girls are the ones latching themselves onto him . Haruka himself is innocent . Not once since they started dating has he left her by herself at night, they spend their whole time together . There are only a few hours where he's gone and when she's at work . But even then, he's working .

Why is it like this?

Her thoughts broke off when she felt his hand on her forehead, "Lila, you're burning up . "

"I'm fine, Haruka . "

"No, tsk," Haruka cursed and picked her up, "I'll take you to the hospital . "

Hospital

"Is that so? Thank you," Haruka thanked .

Lila extended her hand out and softly called out, "Haruka?"

"Coming," Haruka said a few more things to the doctor, before entering the room .

"What do you want to do? Stay in the hospital?"

Lila shook her head, "I'll stay for a bit, but I think I should go home . "

"The Teras.h.i.+ma family member?"

"Ah-huh, I think only Mother can help me . "

"I'll take you home, but I won't be able to stay . I need to . . . "

Lila smiled bitterly, "Act as her manager, right?"

"Lila, don't worry . I'll come to you as soon as possible . I'll just make sure things are settled with her," Haruka explained . Lila deeply sighed, how many times has she heard this already? She's getting sick of it . She just wants to sleep it all of and forget it .

Lila still returned to work regardless of her current condition; she knew it was suicidal to do so . But Lila wanted to take her mind off things for a bit .

"It's finally over . . . unnn, "Lila murmurs to her two companions .

Opposite her sat honey brown hair which belonged to her best friend and silver which belonged to Komari Kizaki . A member of Acchan and Miu's group . The job had scarily been going on for four hours with showing no signs of ending . They warned them beforehand that the program will go on for longer than expected depending on the guests and the three of them being idols of such status . It was only natural to a.s.sume that it applied to them . However, she really is worn out .

"Well, I have to agree with you on this one . Why does a TV show not even a regular one have to be over four hours?

"Indeed, when they told me to be prepared . I steeled my resolve, but in the end, I'm still exhausted," Kizaki took a sip of her tea .

"And they even said they'd call us back for the next installment . . . "

All three of them exhale deeply at the thought .

"By the next installment, I hope they fix their attention on the pop idols . Miu would love to do what we went through," Kizaki said .

"This is the perfect job for Maaya . "

While those two were talking about potential candidates for the program, Lila mumbled, "So hungry . . . "

At that comment, the waitress placed the food she ordered, and she didn't waste any time swallowing it down . "Usually I'd encourage you to eat . But isn't that all junk food," however Kasumi's words left one ear after the other . Lila continued to consume the food .

Quite some time has pa.s.sed since she got to spend this much time with Haruka . Even though she tried being independent that time, it did her no good . So she came up with this method to stop her thirst . Come to think of it; she wonders why she can only drink Haruka's blood . Is it really because of something special .   . Haruka's blood does .   .   . Rosalia drink it too?

Or maybe even Aizawa Mei? Lila shook her head, why is she acting so silly for? Aizawa Mei is not a hanyou .
