Dream Star -4 Prolouge: The Beginning Of A New Dream 3

For a split moment, he was completely speechless, until he saw the girl tilt her head. Confusion filled her eyes.

"..?"

Haruka quickly composes himself and let's go of her hand.

"Sorry, my bad. You look..."

Exactly like her. She really does, though her body proportions are slightly different. Her height is the same, her hair is longer. But that volume, shape of her face, eyes, noses, lips. It's a perfect fit. A brief glance is all anyone needs to put two and two together.

"It's alright...um mister .... are you a student here?"

But, if it's her. She would have no reason to hide it in front of him and she certainly wouldn't call him 'mister.'

"Huh? Yeah, a third year...and you're." he scans the girls uniform. A student here too, but doesn't know who he is.

"Ah, there you are. I've been looking for you."

"...Mikami." Haruka nodded at his kohai who approached them.

"h.e.l.lo there senpai, Ari-chan, did you just get here?"

"Hamano-kun, um, I'm sorry I'm late. I got slightly lost."

"No, no, it's our fault. We didn't think the show would run over time. Even so, your roommate was supposed to meet you at the gate. Then again, she probably forgot."

. .. So, this girl is a new student. But, more importantly. Haruka eye's Mikami suspiciously. His midnight blue hair kohai laughs, catching his look, "Now, now, senpai. I wonder what you're thinking."

Mikami hasn't touched another girl since he returned. Haruka knows that very well. Since he's been to see him numerous times. Right now, he's helping him suppress the urges. But, taking that many drugs aren't good for anyone. Even if they are medical ones.

"I was thinking, that she's too pretty to be your friend."

At that comment, the girl's face reddens. The contrast between her blue curls and red made her look even more lovely.

"Your name?"

"K--K--Kiku, Ari. Um, a second year."

A second year. With this body? Really? But hmm, there's something about her, that interests him. She really resembles Lila.

"Karas.h.i.+ma Haruka, 3rd year. "he extends his hand out to brush away the leaf from the girl's hair, gently kissing her locks.

Wah--wh-wh-wha? Haruka simply nodded and turned to speak with Hamano-kun for a few minutes, before turning back to her. "If you need anything, and Mikami's too busy. Ask for me."

"Y-yes, thank you."

With that final exchange, she watches as he walks off.

Thump. Thump.

She didn't think. She would meet with him so soon.

Karas.h.i.+ma Haruka...

Lila confesses to having strayed away when Mikami asks her. She didn't see the need to hide it.

"How could you stray so far from the school?"

"I heard a beautiful melody so..."

In the end, she was misled. The melody was in the direction of the school. But it was windy earlier, and the sound reflected in the wrong direction.

"Good grief seems like you'll be a handful. I promised s.h.i.+chiro to take care of you though."

"Sorry for the trouble."

"There's been no trouble yet."

Lila shyly looks down, understanding what he meant.

"He really figured it out. Though, it's true most people will. Only if they have personally met you."

"Hamano-kun, has Harukkun been using that strap the entire time?"

Lila nodded.

"Yeah, I thought it was weird. But since you're asking, did you give it to him?"

Before she could say anything, she catches a glimpse of familiar blonde. Ah.

"There she is, your roommate."

Her roommate will be. Yumeko-chan?

"Yelling so loudly, you're so rude !"

"Tough, what are you doing wandering around? I told you your new roommate would be arriving. Rather, your awfully far from the gate..."

"Uh, well you see. Yumeko eyes met hers.

"A princess."

"Woahh! She looks like a princess."

"Now who's being rude. Save the talk after your you have introduced yourself."

The girl turns to her properly, and she sees the blonde's eyes go wide. Uh?

"Lilchan?"

…..oh...another... Is she really that transparent? She thought her disguise would be pretty good. But, it appears that's not the case here. Or maybe Harukkun and Yumeko-chan are just...

"Etto, what is it? Kanehersan."

"Yumeko is fine, and I was thinking. You really do resemble her...I got it, a cousin!"

"You must be Lilchan's cousin! I did hear she was a pretty girl too, but who would have thought you'd resemble each other so much."

Her sweat dropped seeing the girl ramble on, uh, she supposes that it's fine for Yumeko-chan to think this way. Rather, she won't be able to get a word in edgewise now.

"Ah, that's right Ari-chan?"

"Yes?"

"Your uniform arrived earlier, but there was a bit of a disaster with the office recently. So, you should try it on."

"Okay."

Recalling the marks on her body, however, Lila pauses.

"Ah, um, I'll change in the bathroom."

Lila half expected the girl to be confused. But instead, Yumeko points to where the bathroom is with a bright smile.

"Sure, go ahead. It's all sparkly and nice inside."

When Lila opened the door, rather approached it. She did notice something strange but wasn't really thinking about it. However, when she stepped into the bathroom. Her eyes go wide. Uwaaaaahhhh! It's so pretty!!!! It's large too, what, what? Even though the room looks average at most. She wonders why. Lila finds herself talking a picture and ...sends it to him.

Lila peeks at her phone, even if she sent it. She probably won't get a reply. Just as she was thinking this, the beeping sound indicating she got a message pops up.

I'm not there to save you.

It's Kiryu! Wah, Kiryu!!! A message from Kiryu! Alright!!!! Maybe she can send another? Ah, no, don't get too excited. If she sends another, it'll get tracked. But, with this, it's okay. She's rea.s.sured him that she's alright. Lila really didn't want to disappear for two weeks, for half a month without saying anything to anyone. However, because that guy strongly insisted on it, she didn't have a choice. She does understand it, what he's trying to get at. Her resolve needs to be firm. Otherwise, she won't last very long. Resolve.

Her gaze flickers back to the message. Just one more. One more.

Since Hisame-san and the others aren't in.

Oh, so that's why. He must be helping, so he's probably manipulating the records. But, she wants to say something. It's been two whole weeks. There are so many things she wants to say. So many words she wants to convey to him.

When Lila steps out, she is wearing the school uniform. Half expecting the girl to say something. But Yumeko-chan wasn't alone, there with her was a guy with turquoise colored hair and almond eyes.

"I'm dismissed from cla.s.s since I need to show the new student around."

"But--Kanehersan."

"Ahh, quiet. I'm not hearing it. If you keep repeating that, I'm telling brother."

The guys face color goes pale.

"Aren't you two supposed to be fighting now?"

"Even if we are, he'll still go after you."

The guy reluctantly sighs, "Alright, I get it. But, you must accept the next one with me. They aren't happy with you as it is, especially the stunt you pulled last time."

"I get that. I'll send them out." Yumeko turned to her with a nod and Lila returns it. Once the blonde hair girl left, she quickly turned to her belongings. It would probably be best to unpack the school stuff. She opens a nearby box and starts taking things out. After doing so for a few minutes, the guy speaks up.

"You, are all those yours? "he points to the boxes labeled books.

Lila nodded.

"So you like reading. Yumeko isn't much of a reader."

Her sweatdropped, uh, from a distance it sounds like he's speaking normally. But, there's something odd about it. What is he trying to get at?

"If you, like reading. You can get a lot of books in the libraries here."

"Ah, I heard. The central library has a lot of books."

"Most people don't know. But, there are actually small libraries here that have more books. In the central library, it's always noisy and hard to concentrate."

"I--I see."

Somehow, he's starting to sound threatening. He's explaining things, but she really is getting a bad feeling. Yumeko-chan said the same thing earlier. But when this guy says it, it's strange.

"You should go now. To check it out, you won't get much chance later."

A library. She's been meaning to search for a good one. Yumeko-chan told her that this school has many libraries. How the central one is always noisy and not peaceful, so if she wants to read, she ought to go to one of the less noisy ones. When Yumeko-chan left the took for a bit, that guy told her that there's a good one. That guy's words seemed a bit strange. But, there really is a library here and indeed there doesn't seem to be anyone around. Lila opens the large doors.

Upon entering, her eyes lit up. Indeed, it's like what that guy said. This place isn't only quiet, but there's a peaceful atmosphere here. It almost reminds her of the unofficial Kiryu library back in Universal S. She should thank that guy when she sees him again. He's one of Yumeko-chan's friends, so she will probably see him again soon. Despite her worries, he seems to be a decent person. Her thoughts break of hearing the sound of heavy breathing and moaning.

U--uwahhh?!!! Uwaahhh.

T--this sound, it can't be, can it?

But uh, that guy did say it's the quietest place in school and high school students need privacy occasionally. St--still, doing it in a place like this seems a bit wrong. Surrounded by such beautiful nature. They're probably a couple, she should leave. Just as she was thinking that she caught a glimpse. Ah. H--Harukkun.

After sending the girl away, Haruka calls out to the person whose presence he sensed a few minutes ago.

"Who's there?"

A girl with long curly blue hair steps out. Recognition filled his eyes. Oh, it's this girl.

"Ari-chan is it? Need something?"

"S-sorry, um I heard that you can get more books here."

"I see. Did n.o.body tell you that only 3rd years can come up here?"

"I didn't know! I'm so sorry..."

Seeing her fl.u.s.tered appearance, he blinks. Right, she heard and maybe saw a bit. He supposed, to normal people, it's not normal. But, she's had a guy and isn't a virgin, he can tell that just from looking at her. So, he wonders why... Come to think of it, he met someone like this before. He grabs hold of her wrist.

"You really do look like her. Since yesterday, I've been thinking this."

"Um...senpai..."

"As long as you have permission from a third year, you can keep coming here."

"Um, um."

"I'll let you."

She seemed surprised but nodded.

"T--t-thank...thank you, senpai."

Haruka nodded and let's go of her wrist.

...He just wants to make sure. If it ends up being a bad guess, then he can just screw her like all the others. She's a beautiful girl after all. His thoughts break off when she rummages through her bag and hands him a towel.

"Thanks."

"Y-yes."

As he cleaned himself up, he watches from the corner of his eye.

She's beautiful, he thought so when he briefly b.u.mped into her. But, it's rare to find such a beauty, who isn't older than him or around his age, yet she's younger. A young beauty. ... He takes a seat beside her and observes every detail.

"Um,"

"Hm?"

"Senpai, you're getting really close."

"I want to see what your reading."

She smells nice too. Such smooth looking skin. Huh, it's been a while since he met such innocent looking beauty. What's more, it's clear that she's nervous.
