He is so lucky to have her beside him. So lucky to have met her again, to be loved by her again. All of this happiness is because of Austin Kiryu. He is still jealous, but it's no longer the same as before. Later, he should discuss with Lila the case with Miyazawa Rosalia. Haruka didn't tell her right away because he didn't have enough information. But, now that he does. He wants to help Kiryu.

'That girl...makes him speechless.' Haruka stood frozen in that spot for a few minutes. In the first place, when he started dating her, Haruka didn't think it would last long. Especially with her behavior. She was reluctant to tell him the words, 'I love you,' because those words, she reserved them for Kiryu.

They've gone through a lot together. Whenever Haruka thought about it, he couldn't believe that they remained together. So many people tried to get in their way and break them apart. Yet they still stayed together. He really put Lila through a lot. Unlike her, he only had Austin Kiryu to deal with.

After a few minutes, Haruka became anxious because he realized that Lila hadn't come out yet. Haruka made his way towards the changing rooms.

"Excuse me, my wife hasn't come out for a while, and I'm worried."

"Your wife?" the lady was looking him up and down. Clearly, she already heard all sorts of excuses like this before.

Haruka immediately made his way over, and sure enough, saw Lila curled up into a ball shape. Lila was already wearing the dress, but he noted how she hadn't changed her shoes yet. Or put on the full attire. Haruka wanted to rush out with Lila immediately but realized something.

A man with turquoise colored hair appeared. "Pay for this, and gather the rest of it."

"Yes, sir." Myou was swift and turned to the female worker to discuss things.

Lila only just got discharged here a few days back, but now she is here again. His gaze fell on the girl who was fast asleep on the bed, with all sorts of tubes attached to her. What happened now? She was fine before, she was getting better. Is it because he touched her earlier?

"Karas.h.i.+ma," a voice from behind him said. He turned and spotted Lila's doctor, it was the man who raised Austin Kiryu. The one called Eita, "Did you…"

Haruka paused and clenched his fist when he heard those words. "You don't have to," he recalled what happened not too long ago when he went to meet with Zane. Zane gave him some drinks. He should have refused it. But it didn't taste bad. Haruka didn't think Zane would bother drugging him anymore.

"It was my fault. I drank something I shouldn't have."

"I'll remove the toxins from your body. When Lila wakes up, give her your blood again."

"Alright."

Haruka followed Eita into a room beside Lila's. During the entire removal process, that consisted of his arm being jabbed several times. His gaze fell on his wife. Now that he thought about it, for the last six months, episodes similar to this have happened too. But, not like this. He needs to be more careful. Next time he goes over to Zane, he won't drink anything.

During the process, the girl woke up. She looked around for a moment before she started to cry. Uhhh… why is she crying? Because she didn't see him?

Clearly, Eita did too, but it was already too late. Lila fell forward a few times on her way there. Of course, she did, her body was still weak. Her face deadly pale. He wanted to rip off the needles in his arm but knew he couldn't get up.

A relieved sigh pa.s.sed his lips when Lila entered the room. She made her way over quickly. Thankfully, his seat was close to the door. He extended his free hand out and made her sit down on the free chair beside him.

"Wife, I'm alright. Just rest, close your eyes again." He was very worried about her.

"Hubby, I want to stare at you."

"I'm not in pain, wife, so close your eyes."
