Dream Star 592 Uhh A Confession?

Her hubby looks a bit strange. Is he thinking something weird again? Lila didn't want to let Haruka speak with that woman alone. It was petty, but she knew this was the only way. Lila unconsciously leaned forward. All her husband does is stare at her since they are so close to one another. He should do something to her. Lila stood on her tiptoe and kissed his lips.

Haruka snapped out of his daze and wrapped his arms around her. Lila's eyes brightened, "Are we going to cuddle?"

"Just a bit," he kissed her hair. "Wife, do you trust me?"

Lila nodded, she did not hesitate with her words. "I do," she mumbled. Even though sometimes, she shouldn't. But, she trusts him a great deal. "When we get home today, I have a lot of things I need to tell you."

"Okay, I understand."

"Alright, good."

Lila isn't pleased when he removed his arms from her and resumed walking. She wanted to stay in that position longer. Unfair!

"Say, hubby. Why do all the girls you meet again try to do things to you the moment you meet them?"

"Hey, if you saw that. You should have stepped up sooner."

"I knew you'd push her away."

"And if I didn't?"

"But, you'd never betray me, hubby. Your head over heels for me," Lila was sure of this fact. No matter where they are, Haruka's gaze never leaves her. He's always looking at her. He only loves her. It's strange, but back then, she felt so uneasy. However, now, even with all these rivals appearing. Lila is strangely calm.

She wondered why that was. Is it because she understands Haruka's feelings now?

Haruka pushed her against the wall, "Head over heels?"

"Yes."

"I see, head over heels," his lips curve to a teasing smile. Haruka brushed his free hand on her lips. "You're beautiful, my wife."

Lila pouted, "Just beautiful?"

He bent down and gently bit her ear. "There are many words I can use to describe you. But, we have like five minutes before the opening."

She laughed at his comment. Haruka genuinely seemed troubled by this. "Then, when we get home, compliment me a lot."

"Alright, I'll do that."

Lila lost track of how many people told her that Karas.h.i.+ma Haruka isn't good for her. Lost track of how many rivals tried to come between them. She keeps losing track of the rivals because they aren't important to her. As for what people said, 'it doesn't matter.' Truly, it may look like she is acting stubborn. However, she has every right to. Haruka isn't a bad guy; he isn't like the rumors say. Lila confirmed this even before she fell in love with him.

Her gaze flickered towards her husband, who was giving instructions out to other staff members. "Make sure n.o.body changed the settings," Haruka said bitterly. Her sweat fell when she recalls the previous incidents. So, many bad things happen whenever there is a tournament.

Naturally, Haruka is more alert to these things now. Still, he looks a bit stressed out, and he's shouting. That isn't good for him. Lila, however, knew better than to intervene.

"Hubby, why are you holding my hand?"

Haruka glanced over, "Hm? A problem?"

"No, but, uh," Lila looked down at the ground. everybody is staring at them.

Haruka let's go of her hand and cupped her cheeks. "You know, for someone who is usually so calm and composed. You sure do blush easily."

'That's because he's an idiot.'

"Hubby, what are you doing?"

"Just having a look at your red face. You look pretty."

This idiot and his strange fetishes. If he keeps holding onto her like this, she will start thinking strange things.

"Austin-san, please stand by."

At that comment, Lila looked over and spotted silver hair. Ah, it's Kiryu.

Hearing this, Haruka suddenly let's go off, and Lila blinked, confused. Is he trying to be considerate? Haruka should know that there is no need. Kiryu isn't the petty type. Then again, he can be. Kiryu always tried to be so perfect in front of her. So, she could never say so for sure.

"Hey," Kiryu greeted.

"Kiryu."

His hair is messy, is he going out on stage like that? Half wandering, half curious. Lila extended her hand out and ran her hands through his hair. Her pretty silver, it's still so beautiful.

"Thanks."

"Ah-huh."

Haruka coughed, and Lila immediately panicked. Oh no, she did that unconsciously just now. To her surprise, Haruka didn't say anything. Instead, he seemed to be in deep thought. What is he thinking? Kiryu tapped her shoulders, "Can I have a minute?"

"Um," Lila glanced over at Haruka. "Hubby?"

"Hm?"

"Kiryu wants to talk to me. Is that okay?"

"Yeah, go ahead."

'Go ahead?' Isn't he going to sulk or brood? Frowning, Lila nodded and followed Kiryu. Not before stealing a glance at Haruka. The second she left, he pulled his phone out. Is he going to do something stupid again? Well, forget it. Since it's her husband, he will tell her eventually. These days she doesn't bother confronting him too much when he acts weird. It's because she understands, 'It's something serious.' Since it's something serious, it will take him some time before he confines in her.

Her thoughts broke off when she realized Kiryu stopped walking. Lila glanced up and noted that Kiryu took her away from the backstage area. The two of them were now in an empty corridor. "Ki-" no sooner did she get those words out, did Kiryu slump his head in her chest.

"Uhhh, Kiryu?"

"Sorry, a few minutes. Let me borrow your chest."

A few minutes of this? But Lila already felt her palms grow sweaty, and her heartbeat speeding up. Kiryu should know the current state of her feelings. Why is he still trying to get close like this? So stupid. However, now that she got a closer look. He is sweating a lot, and his face seems flush. A fever?

"Kiryu, you look tired."

Kiryu laughed, "When am I not?"

"Are you sick?"

Kiryu didn't reply, which Lila took as a yes. He's sick. So why did he agree to perform? That's stupid. He isn't, trying to prove something to her again, is he?

Sensing his lips on her neck, she paused. "Kiryu, what's wrong?"

"I love you, Lila..."

Uhh, a confession? She wasn't expecting that.

"I love you," he repeated over and over. Uh, he's acting weird. Ah, maybe he needs blood. Right, he did bury his face on her neck. The connection between them isn't severed yet. So, Kiryu probably wants her blood?

"Kiryu, you can take some."

"Hm?"

"Blood."

Kiryu lifted his face from her neck, "Is it okay?"

Lila nodded, "Ah-huh," she paused when she recalled something. Haruka said it was fine, to help him out. This included that. Kiryu seemed reluctant; she could see it in his face. But, eventually, he agreed.

"I'll take a little then, if you don't mind."

"Yes-" her sentence fell short when Kiryu brushed a strand of her hair away from her face. He subtly placed his hand on top of hers. Uhh.. Maybe this was a bad idea. Drinking blood always gets intimate, and Kiryu is...

Lila looked up and saw his red-stained cheeks. Kiryu is blus.h.i.+ng? Why? "This is bad," Kiryu mumbled.
