Dream Star 602 Something Wrong?

That's so unfair; she has so much work to do until the very last second of this year. Lila a.s.sumed that the idol a.s.sociation board would have equally have as much work. What a letdown, Haruka has so much time off, and yet she won't be around. Wait, a minute. Lila sent him a harsh glare, "You won't spend it with your mistress, will you? Is it mistress one, or will you pay the other one's attention? Mistress two is scary, number three is stuck in the hospital. Number four is quiet for a while…"

She ought to check up on number four. After all number four has the kid.

"Since when did you number them?" Haruka seemed dumbfounded.

"Well, I had to refer to them separately.."

Haruka chuckled and pointed to his cheeks. "Lila."

Geez, Lila bent over and kissed his cheeks. "I love you," she mumbled softly. "And I do trust you, despite what I say."

"Yeah."

"Maybe I have problems. Even though I don't mind you having female friends. Whenever you talk to a girl, I end up freaking out."

Haruka shook his head, "You don't have to worry. Your not wrong. But I'll tell you. Rikka isn't like the other girls. I think you and her can become good friends."

This is the first time she's heard Haruka speak so fondly about another woman. Maybe she isn't that bad? Haruka actually dated her; he was in an actual relations.h.i.+p.

"Okay, then why don't we go for dinner?"

"Dinner?"

"Ah-huh, since your saying all that."

"It's Christmas eve; you don't mind?" Haruka asked.

Ah, right. "I don't…"

Okay, so she did. But, then again, she will most likely be late for the dinner tonight anyway.

"Hubby?"

"Mmm, just admiring your hands."

Lila glanced down and noted how Haruka was staring at their matching rings. Light laughter escaped her lips, "Um, don't be so silly."

"You'll always keep this on right?"

"Of course."

Haruka kissed her fingertips. "I'm relieved to hear that."

"Can I ask you a question, Haruka?"

"Hmm?" The two of them were walking out the building now. Many people gave them strange looks like usual. "Wife, why don't we have lunch somewhere?"

Is he thinking of eating? What on earth is wrong with him. Or maybe she's the possessed one. Her husband, huh? In terms of legal marriage in j.a.pan. It's okay for them to get married with parental consent. Still, Lila thought back to how she handled the procedure. Was that really parental consent?

S- Hotel - 1:30 PM

"Sorry, it's slightly late for lunch now. I didn't think the traffic would be that bad," Haruka said as they took their seats.

"No, it's okay."

This means they can be together longer. So, she's happy. Lila peeked over at him. Now that she got a closer look, Haruka is wearing clothes she hasn't seen before. He's wearing a blue suit; it strangely looks good on him.

"What is it, wife?"

"Um, you look different."

"Yeah," Haruka nodded. "I normally dress this way when I'm working for the board. I guess you've never seen it before."

Different clothes, different behavior. He suddenly feels a bit far away from her. Lila stood up and made her way over. Haruka's lips curve to a smile, and he pulled her into his arms. Lila sat on his lap and Haruka buried his face in her chest. "Mmm, wife," he murmured. "We don't see each other a lot these days; you have no idea how much I've missed you."

Has he really? It didn't seem that way, no he missed her. She saw how impatient he was when she was introducing those three.

"We said we would endure it, right? After the first round ended.."

"I know we made that deal, wife. But I can't take it."

'Me too,' Lila wanted to tell him. However, she refrained from doing so. If she said that out loud, then Haruka would most likely put an end to all his current plans. She can't stand in his way any longer. Besides, there are some things she has to do too. Lila caressed his hair.

"Wife, you seem bothered earlier."

"She was clinging to you."

"Sorry, bad habit. Rikka often did that when we were dating. I don't think she realized what she was doing."

"Ah-huh," Lila mumbled. "Well, I think I'm getting used to this by now. You have so many women who like you."

"Wasn't it the same for Kiryu?"

"Rosalichan chased of other suitors."

Now that she thought about it, that was supposed to be her job. However, back then, the last thing on her mind was romance. "Should I do some chasing too?"

"No need wife, concentrate on your singing. Are your preparations going well? Sorry I can't help you now."

"It's fine, your a judge after all," Lila trailed off. For some reason, she didn't know what to say. It felt strange, something was different. Still, "Besides, I don't think I'll get lost anymore."

"Yeah?"

"Ah-huh, how to put it? After that stage my head cleared up. Whatever was troubling me before is gone now. I feel refreshed. I can sing with a peace of mind now."

Before going on stage, she was still very nervous. However, after she heard Haruka's song for her, her nerves calmed down. Her gaze softened when she thought of the song. That's right; it's because she heard that, that's why she agreed to this thing with Rikka. After hearing such a beautiful song, who would doubt his feelings for her?

"Tell me something, husband."

Lila lifted his face up from her chest, so she could get a better look at his face. "When I pulled out those marriage certificates before, you didn't seem surprised."

Haruka awkwardly scratched his hair, "You're bringing this up now?"

"Well, I was curious."

"I knew," Haruka nodded. "I woke up when you used my fingerprint."

Ah, so that's why. But, even then. "Your good at acting Haruka. Is that why you accepted that role?" When Lila heard that Haruka would partic.i.p.ate in a drama with Rikka. It surprised her, "Or maybe .."

"It was Rikka's father who asked me. Relax, it's just a small role."

Lila kept staring at him, "Hubby, you know I don't like sharing you."

Haruka laughed and reached over to ruffle her hair. "Mmm, I know. Relax my wife; it's only a small, unimportant role. Besides, you have to share me once in a while."

"I know," Lila said with a deep sigh. "I'm very selfish, though. I don't like the idea of sharing you for long." What's wrong with her? She really has become strange.

"Then, I have a job for you wife," Haruka brushed his fingers across her lips. "A job only you can do."

A job?

Haruka whispered something in her ear, and her eyes widened. "Ah! Is that alright?" she asked.

"It's fine; I already got permission for you. Besides, I'd like to act with you. I know you're very busy, but is it okay?"

"It's only a small role. Send me the script over, and I'll read through it."

Who would have thought that Haruka was secretly making such plans?
