Dream Star 603 A Reason

Five hours later at Royale Vil district 

There is a reason why she broke up with Haruka. Why she cheated on him, cheating is a terrible thing; it's something that can't be forgiven. When she first started dating Haruka, Rikka was reluctant. She knew of the rumors regarding him, and their first meeting wasn't exactly the best. Cousin invited her to go out for a meal. Rikka felt that there was something more to it. Sure enough, when she saw Haruka, she understood. For a while, her cousin wanted her to loosen up, 'Your still a virgin? That's hilarious. Wait, I'll fix that for you.'

Rikka didn't think her cousin would get a guy for her. But, she did.

The year 2033- December -

Rikka woke up and glanced over at the man who was on the phone. 'So, this is the one cousin mentioned before.' Sophia often mentioned that she lives with a guy who sleeps around with just anyone. She often commented on how low that man is and that she could do better. Who would have thought a few years later she would end up sleeping with him.

He pulled out a cigarette and started smoking. "Say," Rikka called out.

"Hm? your awake."

"Do you not have a girlfriend?"

"I had one," Haruka laughed. "But, we had to break up."

"Because you were cheating on her?"

Haruka shook his head, "More like. I had no choice but to leave her."

When Rikka heard those words, she recalled her cousin's expression. Sophia probably did something again, poor guy. Rikka stood up and draped the blanket around her bare frame. She walked over to the table and damaged through her bag.

"Need a smoke?"

"I could use one."

Haruka took a cigarette from his pocket and lit it up for her. They just had s.e.x, but he's acting like it was nothing. Is he this insensitive? No, during that time he seemed so very sad. He called out another girl's name. Maybe, she got the wrong idea about him.

"So, Sophia's your cousin?"

"Yes."

"Funny, she told me she had no more relatives."

'That idiot,' Rikka sighed. Sophia really tricked this guy. "Did she also say she had no parents?"

"Yeah."

"You know the truth now, right? Sophia is the heir to a large cologonmate."

"I know. Hah, it really was ridiculous of me. So, you're different from her. You don't sleep around."

"What makes you say that?"

Haruka casually pointed over to the bedsheets, "Well, you bled so.."

Her cheeks flushed in embarra.s.sment. Goodness, she forgot about that factor. "Sophia didn't say that she just said her relative is pent up and stuff…"

That woman, what sorts of crazy things did she say? "Do you want a bath?"

"I'd like one."

Haruka lifted her up her feet and brought her over to the bathroom. Neither of them said a word until they entered. He pressed her against the wall and slipped the blanket off her body. Needy and hungry lips met hers.

The next time she met him was a month later.

January 4th, 2035 -

These meetings are such a pain. Her shoulders feel stiff. When the meeting finally ended, Rikka proceeded to leave, but...

"Miss Rikka, can we have a moment of your time?"

Rikka sighed, can't they see she was rus.h.i.+ng of? She kept her usual polite smile on her face, "Yes, what ---" her eyes widened when she saw the person standing next to the director. Ah?!!

"This is our newbie; he's joined the idol a.s.sociation board the past year. But, he wishes to gain some experience in other fields. We set aside a small role for him in your next movie. I hope you're willing to show him the ropes."

Rikka waited until the man left before she said anything.

"Haruka?"

His lips curve to a smile, "Yeah, nice to see you again."

To think the man she had a one night stand with is here, unbelievable. Rikka thought she would never see him again. "Did you come here with someone?" she asked.

"No, I'm alone. I haven't seen Sophia in awhile either, how is she?"

Alone? And he hasn't met with her cousin? Thump. Thump. Rikka waited until the others left the room. She acted her part with all the formal greetings, and so did he. The moment they were left alone, the moment did Haruka push her against the wall. He's fumbling with her s.h.i.+rt, skirt - one hand groped her b.r.e.a.s.t.s, the other on her thighs. Hungry lips attacking her neck.

"Ah…" Rikka placed her hand on her mouth. She knew other executives were still nearby. What if they came back? She wouldn't know how to explain herself.

"Did you get a boyfriend? You seem better now," Haruka breathed in her ear.

"We broke up," Rikka mumbled. "It didn't work out."

"I see, that's perfect…"

Perfect? Rikka didn't question him when his hands undid the remaining b.u.t.tons on her s.h.i.+rt. "Rikka, you're gorgeous."

'...' So many men have said that to her. But how come this person seems different? This person is very strange.

"Say," Haruka mumbled. "I want to keep meeting with you. Can we?"

Rikka paused and then nodded. She took out one of her business cards from her bag and gave it to him. "My private number is on the back."

"Hmmm." And he kisses her again, this time the kiss felt a bit different.

Present 2035

By the end of the month, they were already dating. She dated Karas.h.i.+ma Haruka for an entire year and a month. However, when he returned from Star Town. Haruka was already talking about breaking up with her. Rikka knew she shouldn't have let him go, but she still did.

She shouldn't have allowed him to leave to see his first love. However, their relations.h.i.+p was going well. So, she didn't think much of it. But in that next two months, she felt so uneasy. So, when her father brought that offer up regarding other men…

Rikka sighed, 'No use thinking about it now.' She's a cheating b.i.t.c.h, that is something that won't change.

Why did she fall so low and become one of the women she hated? There are many more external factors. Her thoughts broke off when she felt the presence of her father..

"Where are you going?"

"I have dinner plans," Rikka hesitated and trailed off. "With Haruka."

Her father's eyes lit up in delight, "That's a good girl. Alright, get going.

She bawled her fists into a ball, 'and his wife.' When Rikka first received the invitation, she felt delighted. But of course, it wasn't that simple.

Rouge Hotel

"Ah RikkSan, this way!" Teras.h.i.+ma Lila waved her hands enthusiastically.

Rikka made her way over. Haruka was there, but he was on the phone. However, she noted how he was placing food on Teras.h.i.+ma Lila's plate.

"I got it. Yeah, tomorrow," Haruka trailed off and looked up. "Hey, you made it."

"Yes."

"Tomorrow, Jo said he would come over. It seems like the plan was approved."

Ah, Rikka nodded. "He's efficient."

"Sorry, we started eating without you. Lila needed to take her medicine."

"It's okay; she's sick?"

"I'm healthy, but hubby worries too much."

Haruka sighed, "What healthy?" he pinched the girl's cheeks. "Where did you spend the last few weeks before the first round, hmmm?"

"Wahhh, don't bully me."

This is the first time she has seen Haruka like this. Whenever they were dating, he seemed cautious. He would get distracted easily. It always seemed like he was lost in his own world.

When they first started dating, Rikka knew he already had somebody else in his heart. But, she didn't think he would one day abandon her on the day she needed him the most for that person. 'I'm falling in love with you, Rikka…'

'I think I can get over Lila now.'

Liar, Liar. She never held a candle to her.

"Rikka?"

"Hubby, please can you request some things to the chef. Watch over the cooking."

Haruka seemed confused but nodded. He stood up and left, not before kissing the girl's lips. "Mm, I'll be back, wife, behave."

Lila laughed, "Okay."

He's different now, he looks happy.
