"In terms of philosophy, love is something much more complex then what the human eye makes out of. From all those dreams and encounters and well just the fact that you hung around Haruka you must have noticed it," Lila said.

That's right, when Rikka first read philosophy books because she was interested in why that person read it all the time. "I felt as though I was free, like I could do anything I wanted."

"Ah, yes that's what does happen," Lila chuckled. "If you think about it in that sense. Haruka is the same."

"He is?" Rikka repeated.

"Loneliness, like I just mentioned. This guy filled with loneliness. He's starved of any form of love. The individuals that were around him did not pay any attention to him, labelling him as a strange individual. Those in the top of the idol world, the top of the delinquent world. You could say the underground organization is a symbol of loneliness. That's why we can probably relate more with people like Haruka ..and, no my brother was the same too. Loneliness, suffering and pain. We've all experienced it greatly. Even if we want people to love us, even if we want to be loved. When it happens, something is still missing. Were an empty sh.e.l.l, just waiting just waiting for something to happen," Lila said.

As Lila spoke, a ray of light reflected from the window onto the girl's face. There was something mesemerizing about the whole scene.

"Then, to you is that the ending you desire?" Rikka inquired .

Lila shook her head, her gaze softening, "Truthfully speaking, even though I'm older and supposed to be more responsible now. I can't say for sure that anything has changed. "She trails of and laughs lightly, "After all I'm still rather clumsy and make a lot of mistakes."

"Well I won't deny that."

That's right. Even though she's older now, her clumsy traits remain. The child like innocence in her eyes too are the same as back then. Rikka didn't want to get to know this girl for a reason. If she learned more about Teras.h.i.+ma Lila, if she learned more about her than -- than Rikka knew she would back down.

Leaving the library, Rikka could only stare at the girl awkwardly. She couldn't comprehend how different the girl looked when she was talking about philosophy and life just then.

As the only heir to her household. Her father raised raised her in a strict environment, thus she has a rather serious personality. In that house it was always suffocating, it was like she was falling into an endless pit of abyss. In that house there was no light. At least whenever that person was around, that person - the man whom was his father and yet Rikka always felt distant from him. Even the connection through blood was rather minor. When she was younger, she could never eat or speak in front of his father and that's why he originally labelled her as a screw up.

Her only sanitary was playing the piano with the eldest male servant. It was only during those

times that she felt as though it was okay to release emotions. But even those times were cut short, when that servant died and the piano was locked away. The feeling of being surrounded by darkness slowly came back to her, worse than before and she thought it was over that was until she met that young girl in the park.

Thinking about it now, that girl was Teras.h.i.+ma Lila. "Rikksan, why don't we go on that?" Lila pointed at the boat by the sh.o.r.e. "There is something else I want to speak to you about."

.....

The next few hours, she spent it shopping with Teras.h.i.+ma Lila and talking to her a lot. Before Rikka knew it, the sun had gone down. The skies turned orange, she was walking back home when she spotted familiar people exiting a car.

'Sophia and Haruka?' Rikka immediately hid behind a tree.

"That was treat Haruka we should do it again."

Haruka's gaze remained cold, "Satisfied?"

"Of course, you were great. I'll agree to your little request, but when you come back a lot of things will be different."

"Alright."

Sophia traced his lips, "Hey, what will she say if she found out what you did today?"

At that comment Rikka's face colour turned pale. Don't tell her Sophia did something to make Haruka sleep with other women again? No, Haruka wouldn't do that. He would never sleep with another woman now he has Teras.h.i.+ma Lila. Sure, there was that recent case. But even then Haruka mistook her for his wife. Haruka will never willingly touch another woman who isn't his wife.

It must be something else, did she hurt him? Rikka tried to think realistically. In the end Rikka called Lila to fetch Haruka. She knew she couldn't do anything to persuade him to tell her.

"Are you okay?" Rikka asked.

Haruka nodded, "Yeah. I'm fine--"

Rikka immediately caught him, "You look terrible, what did she do to you?"

"It's nothing Rikka, don't worry."

"But you.."

"Did you see Lila today?"

She raised her eyebrows at that comment, how did he know? "Yes we just parted but..."

"Mm, thank you. She looked very happy, I haven't seen her that way in a long time," Haruka said with a tender expression on his face.

So Haruka doesn't suspect that she bullied her? Last time he did though. Within ten minutes, a familiar looking car parks up at the drive. Rikka brought Haruka over who immediately rushed over to the girl. Haruka was still unsteady on his feet, so he fell on the girl's chest.

"Uhh, dummy! I thought you needed help, why are you a.s.saulting me?"

"Mmm, give me some strength Lila... Maybe I should drink your blood."

"Ah, you need blood? Okay!"

"Lila, I love you," Haruka muttered. He whispered something in the girl's ear. Unfortunately, she was too far to find out what that something was.

Lila laughed softly, "I see! I understand now, let's go home so we can start packing."

"Yeah."

She quickly turned to her, and nodded. "Thank you again for today, it was a lot of fun! I'll call you Rikksan."

"Yes."

Lila brought Haruka over to the car, the two stumbled along the way due to the height difference. Soft laughter escaped Lila's lips, "Uh, maybe I should have asked Myou-san to carry you."

"Nope, it's your duty wife."

"Feel better soon hubby," Lila brushed her forehead against Haruka. "I don't like it when your unwell."

Rikka turned on her heel and walked away. Teras.h.i.+ma Lila is, exactly like the sun. She's warm and so bright. That girl is the complete opposite of her, and yet -- what was it earlier today at the library? It feels like the girl is hiding something important.
