Dream Star 658 A Tiny Thorn

Three hours later - Star Town - XX Park 

Lila walked around dazed, she didn't even know how she ended up here. After she discussed this with Yori, Soichiro called and the next thing she knew... She sighed deeply.

Sometimes she can hear another voice alongside that one that normally mocks her.

'Hey why do you look so sad?' Does this mean that she crossed a line she shouldn't have?

She doesn't know - she doesn't understand. Joy, anger, sadness. She was sure these emotions do not belong to her. It should be forbidden for her to feel this way.

'Why do you keep doing this when your not suited to it?' Another voice echoed in her head. Indeed, why does she go through with everything when it clearly doesn't suit her?

When she first met Karas.h.i.+ma Haruka, after the brief introduction he had pulled her arm and said those words to her, and looked her straight in the eyes. The first person who looked at her straight in the eyes, was a man who held a somewhat mysterious aura; and yet because it was similar to her own. She let him in her life closer then she was supposed to.

Her thoughts broke off when Lila spotted a bright coloured ball land at her feet

She bent down and picked it up. Two kids immediately came forward. From the looks of it they were no more than 10 years old.

"Lady, that's our ball."

Lila brushed the dirt from the ball and handed it to one of them, "Here you go."

"Lady, your cheek is swollen. Are you okay?"

Ah, such a innocent question. Indeed they appear to have such a innocent gaze as they asked. " I'm fine. A lot of cars drive by this area so be careful okay?"

"Yes!"

With those words said, the two kids rushed of.

For awhile Lila felt a tiny thorn in her chest. For the longest of time now. Yeah, she is okay. For sure she is fine. This pain is nothing compared to what happened back then. That's why it's alright. But she placed her hand on her swollen cheek, for some reason it hurts. The thorn in her chest is painful and it feels as though its breaking down everything else in her body.

After she rushed out like that, the last thing she expected to find was her husband waiting for her. So when Lila headed back to the building area, it surprised her to see him. He leaned against the pillar outside the building, smoking, his hands in his pockets and he wore a dazed expression on his face. Lila blinked once and then twice. She looked him up and down and saw it right away. Bruises decorated his entire face.

She slowly made her way over but she gradually rushed her pace. She must have made a lot of noise since he looked over. Haruka's lips tugged into a small wry smile but Lila wasn't happy at all.

"Hey wife."

Lila grabbed hold of his arm and he flinched. "Easy, don't cling to me."

"He hurt you?"

"He beat me up yeah. According to him I'm disobeying him too much lately."

Disobeying? Haruka isn't a toy who follows his orders around. Lila scanned his injuries and bite her bottom lip. "Didn't you try to fight back?" she found it strange that he is this injured. Sure Zane is strong, but it's like he didn't put up a fight...

Lila immediately realized it and she sighed deeply. Is he an idiot? "Why didn't you fight back? Don't you care about your handsome face..."

Haruka laughed and he wrapped his arms around her. "Is that what your concerned about? How superficial. Didn't you fall for me for other reasons?"

"Well yeah, but let's face it. Your looks was a huge bonus. Who would reject a handsome guy?" Lila casually shrugged her shoulders. She didn't want to lean in too much, since he is clearly injured. However, it didn't stop Haruka from holding her tightly.

He feels so warm... A content sigh escaped her lips when he played with her hair. "Hubby, let's go home. You're injured."

"Mmm, wait, I want to cuddle with you for a bit."

"So silly," she looked up at him and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I'll make it better," Lila leaned forward and kissed him.

To her surprise Haruka stopped her, "Let's do that at home."

"What's wrong?" she asked him puzzled.

"Let's just go home, you're right. I am hurt."

'Weird..he's never refused her before.' Then again, it's like he said. His wounds must ache all over.

When they returned home however. He immediately backed her against the wall at the entrance and kissed her pa.s.sionately. 'So, he was serious about doing this at home?' Lila didn't mind it though, and wrapped her arms around his neck drawing them closer.

Before anything else could happen, somebody exclaimed loudly. "Haruka!! You..."

Lila turned and saw her brother standing there. 'What's with his annoying timing?'

Haruka broke their kiss, his lips covered in her saliva causing her to turn red. 'He looks so hot like that.'

"You know, this is an invasion of privacy," Haruka commented. "Barging into peoples homes, you don't change."

Huan exclaimed, "..and your the same as ever! Lila don't be deceived, he's kissing you gently to trick you into something later..."

"Ah-huh, I know," Lila nodded. Whenever Haruka kisses her pa.s.sionately, he does it because later on they will do something. "And your point is?"

"My sister has become so shameless... What have you done to her?"

"Nothing yet," the pa.s.sion had yet to fade from her husbands eye's. "But, we can do something later."

Ah, now that she thought about it. She promised him that didn't she? His weird request from earlier remained fresh in her mind.

"Gah, what's with the s.e.xual atmosphere? Shoo, shoo," Huan waved his hands around the air.

Lila rolled her eyes and coldly replied, "Brother, what are you doing here? Don't you have anything better to do?"

"She's so cold, Haruka... Why is she like that towards me? What happened to my cute little sister..." Huan pouted.

"Well, there is a reason why people call her the ice queen..."

Her eyes twitched in annoyance when she heard her husbands remark. She watched as the two start to discuss Haruka's comment.

She stepped on Haruka's foot and he yelps in pain. "Wife, I'm only joking. Even though you acted like a tsundere before you admitted your feelings for me."

At that comment Lila glared at him, "What tsundere? You acted like such a jerk at the start, of course I was cold towards you."

Just remembering it now makes her feel frustrated. She struggled a lot during those days. Her thoughts broke off when she felt Haruka place kisses on her forehead. A content sigh pa.s.sed her lips, she suddenly feels at ease. The anger has vanished.

"Mmm, sorry again wife."

It feels like he is bribing her.
