She wonders why she loves this person so much. Haruka is a good guy, he treats her well and loves her a lot. However, Kiryu treated her very well too. But at the end of the day they still broke up with one another.

"Married couples do everything together."

At that comment Haruka deeply sighed, "Geez, I don't understand you at all."

Lila blinked when she hears his words. She didn't expect him to say that. Haruka extended his hand out and flicked her forehead.

"What was that for?!" Lila exclaimed.

"Don't be so stupid. I know your really into me, but - if I betray you can you confidentially remain on my side?"

Lila sighed, "Those pictures? I already saw them, and I don't care."

"You don't care?"

"Let's go out for a bit," Lila muttered.

The last time they came here, it was around a year ago. 'To think a year later they returned here as a couple.' Right now, she feels so overcome with emotions. Since it was quite late, Lila knew there wouldn't be anyone here. The park doesn't close till 1:00am due to the workers clearing everything up. However, they've already switched of most of the rides. When they came in, the last of the guests seemed to be heading out. Normally they'd ensure people are out by this time. However, once they saw her they made an exception.

Lila couldn't miss the way they looked at Haruka. People still treat him so badly. How come she didn't realize it? By marrying him, she probably made his reputation worse. But it's already far too late for her to take it back. Besides she is no saint, she won't be able to sacrifice her feelings just so the other person could live happily. She paused in mid-thought when she realized something.

Kiryu is like that isn't he?

At least he tried to be. Lila knew him very well, and indeed it was like she thought. The fool was only pretending to be okay this entire time. How badly did he want to see her? How much pain was he in?

Lila sighed quietly. 'What use is there thinking about this now?' No matter how many conversations she has with Kiryu. It feels worthless. All those occasions where she spoke with him about how to get closure - all ended in a failure. Kiryu keeps going back and forth. Initially he said he would be okay with being friends. But now he is openly pursuing her again, even then he is low-key about it. He only does so when they are alone together.

There is all that stuff going on with Zane too… The compet.i.tion, the Dream Stars Tournament. Due to the lengthy time frame before the next round. Sometimes it feels like she isn't partic.i.p.ating.

Her thoughts broke off when Haruka brought out a small meat ball and extended it towards her. "Eh, where did this come from?" Lila wondered out loud. All the stalls should be closed by now.

"I saw one of the vendor people still around and asked."

He did that when? Then again since they arrived at the park fifteen minutes ago. All she did was wander around in a daze. 'She ought to pay more attention to her surroundings, especially during this time frame.' It's not like she is oblivious to what's happening with Zane.

One of the main reasons why she brought him here is so they could talk. But it isn't easy, huh?

"You know, do you want this or not? The sauce is dripping…"

Lila turned her attention back to the food, "I want it, but feed me."

"Alright," Haruka extended the meatball which was on a small stick towards her mouth. Lila opened her mouth and Haruka stuck it inside.

"Ah, this is familiar," she mumbled as she slowly chewed.

"Talking while eating is bad manners, and of course it will be. When we came here last year, that same vendor was selling meat b.a.l.l.s," Haruka explained. She watched him take a handkerchief from his pocket, and wiped her mouth. "Don't eat so quickly, you'll choke. I have some water with me too, and your medicine. So take it after you eat."

"Hubby, do you realize your spoiling me right now?"

"Spoiling huh? Are you cold, I think you need my coat," Haruka muttered.

Haruka didn't wait for her reply and wrapped it around her shoulders. Her gaze softened, 'So silly, but this is nice.'

"Do you want to make out again?" Haruka suddenly suggested.

"Ah," Lila shook her head, "I was just touching." Unknowingly she found herself playing with his hands.

Haruka chuckled, "I think we can do better than this Lila."

She shook her head, "Don't be silly," she paused. Still, it's not like his suggestion is bad. The park is quiet and the workers are working on rides on the other side. It's slightly tempting.

It felt like he provoked her by saying those words. So before she knew it she was doing more than kissing and playing with his hands.

"Hah. Mmmph, hey stop for a second."

"Don't want to. . " she murmurs parting their lips briefly.

"Hehe I see. But wouldn't it be bad if someone took a picture?" Haruka seemed very pleased with her response.

That's true and she's sure by now people have seen through their disguises. It surprised Lila to find people here at this time. However, " . .Were of the clock right now. It's private time," Lila mumbled. Besides it's dark already, people will most-likely think they are seeing things.

With a small laughter and 'I see', Haruka's arms trailed across her thighs while she brushed her hands against the collar of his top tugging the b.u.t.tons away. It's quite embarra.s.sing still, but she really wants to show him, how much she loves him and how safe she feels in his arms right now.

The safety she feels when they are together, does he feel the same?

"Mmm. You know I think I could get used to you seducing me all the time."

"Moron," Lila scolded. "You know I'm really embarra.s.sed right now. But I want to get closer to you Haruka."

"I know." he murmurs softly as he gently patted her hair. His hands are so warm, "Lila, I understand that even now there are some things you can't tell me. I've been respecting your decision this entire time, the matter with Kiryu and even Ichinose. However I'm selfish, I want to know everything about you."

"Even if you get hurt?" Lila questioned.

Haruka is more fragile than most guys. But she loves him regardless, that side of him has become so very precious to her. It doesn't matter if he is weak, she loves him dearly.

"I don't mind...."

Of course he would say that. Their similar after all. The two of them have come a long way..

Ah, a mind is nothing but an easily moved emotion that can be touched by the voice of someone invisible But to think that easily changeable mind was the cause of everything that had taken place. A humans life is so pointless that one cannot help but find it hilarious.

"Stupid Haruka, the mood has become so serious now. .." she scolded him.

"Then, what should we do?"

Lila traced his lips again with her fingers - how could anyone be this handsome? At some point she started to appreciate his looks. Or maybe it's because she loves him more. "When we first went out, I only liked you."

"Mmm."

"But," Lila trailed off. "..that changed. I genuinely love you now Haruka. So, the two of us..."

"..will be together forever," Haruka finished for her. "No matter what happens. I know I haven't done a good job rea.s.suring you there. However, I do mean it Lila. I love you."
