Her gaze flickered towards the TV, yesterday's tournament footage replayed over and over. Aren't these people being too harsh? Lila didn't want to log o to her social media accounts either. She could already see the negative and hateful comments. 'Kasumi is a strong person, but she also has her weak moments.' Lila knew the girl very well. Even though she acts indifferent at times, these comments will hurt her a lot.

Should she do something? But, if she were to intervene now - the situation would turn out to be more chaotic won't it?

"Hey wife, what are you doing now?" Haruka mumbled against her neck.

"I'm glaring."

"Glaring at the TV won't change anything. Why don't you go and meet Iwa Kasumi?"

"But Haruka, I can't go!"

"Hmmm? What could be the problem?"

Lila rolled her eyes as she turned around, "You have your arms around me, and your hugging me so tightly. How could I possibly leave?"

"But wife, remember your the one who hugged me?"

'That's true, it was her who started this the moment he came inside.' Lila buried her face in his arms, "I worked very hard this morning, so I think I deserve a reward."

Haruka chuckled, "Well, I worked hard too but where is my reward?"

Haruka wants a reward? Lila stared at his lips and leaned forward to kiss him. When she finally drew back Haruka looked quite shocked. She laughed, "Not good?"

"You need to stop doing that, you'll give me a heart attack one day."

"That's my line dum-" her sentence fell short when she hears the sound of her phone ringing.

[Incoming call: Soichiro]

'Tsk,' Lila thought when she saw who it was. Just when she was about to get cozy and make out with Haruka. Still, Lila ignored it for a few minutes when she felt Haruka's arms wrap around her waist.

"Soichiro?" he mumbled against her lips.

"Yes," Lila sighed. "But I want to kiss a bit, so let's ignore him."

"No good. He hasn't called you in awhile, it maybe important."

"Nnngh, give me a few minutes," Lila kisses him. She immediately pried his mouth open again and their tongues enterwinded. Haruka kisses very well, she has a lot to learn.

Unfortunately though, she didn't get a chance to make out with him for long. Since the doors slammed open. Her eyes twitched in annoyance and she turned around to see an angry looking Soichiro. "What?!!"

"Lila, outside now," Soichiro said sharply.

Lila looked at him irritated. 'He doesn't show up for awhile and now he does, he makes unreasonable demands of her.'

"Fine," she mumbled. "Fine, I'll go."

Haruka interrupted by gently kissing her lips and squeezing her hands. "I'll see you later Lila, call me."

"Ah-huh."

With those words said Lila got of Haruka's lap, and walked over to the door. She exited the room and Soichiro followed her. He didn't say a word until they were safely out of earshot, even then he spent the next few minutes glaring.

"Do you need something?"

"I heard from the others that your planning on going to those bars Karas.h.i.+ma went to."

"Yes."

His gaze dimmed, "Forget it Lila. Those places would be too much for you."

"What do you mean by too much?" Lila exclaimed.

Is he telling her she can't handle it?

"You know I'm stronger than you," she didn't mean to boast. But she hated it whenever he acted this way. Soichiro never explains anything to her, he just expects her to know. Most times, she doesn't mind - since she usually knows. However, during occasions like this, it would be nice if he explained it.

"It's too much!" Soichiro repeated raising his voice. You're letting your emotions take control of your judgement. You'll act recklessly and expose everything."

At that comment and outburst, Lila looked at him with widened eyes and sighed.

"Are you stupid? I'm perfectly calm."

"No, your..."

"Soichiro," she said sharply. "You know I do appreciate everything you've done for me. But I'm actually going to be okay this time."

"You do realize why I don't believe you right?"

"I understand," Lila nodded. "But now isn't the time to fight among ourselves."

Soichiro took out his lighter. "Well, if you understand that much. I can't lecture you."

"Did you bring me the files?"

He pa.s.sed her a bag, "All the materials you wanted are in here. If you need anything else, just go to the office."

"I'm not your employee anymore," Lila pointed out. Since those strange rumors a few months back, Lila switched her contract so she was working for High seeds records again.

"You don't have to be my employee."

"Be careful, if somebody hears that - they will suspect something like bribery again," Lila muttered. "You found everything?"

"It's not difficult. Besides Zane nor Rosalia try to hide anything. However, the last one is difficult."

"Sophia?"

"That woman after she left Haruka simply vanished for a good while. She occasionally appeared but didn't stay there long. She clearly left the country for awhile, but there are no records of it."

Lila pulled out the yellow file with Sophia's name on it from the bag. Unlike the others it was thinner. Still, "Little information is better than no information," she mumbled. "Besides, I already knew that. There is no trace because Haruka erased the records."

Soichiro raised his eyebrows, "Huh, how did you find that out?"

"I live with him, and I sort out the household. Do you think I won't find something like that lingering around?"

"So, my training didn't go to waste," his lips curved to a smile. "Now then, since you still have it in you, I have something I need you to do."

Lila already knew it would be something bad. However, she can't refuse. "I'm listening."

One of her mother's favourite books is Miyazawa Kenji's galactic road. Lila grew up with her mother during the first half of her life. So she familiarised herself with the books her mother liked. Her mother read many different stories

Lila skipped across the path, avoiding the puddles - almost like dancing in the rain as she carefully made sure that she didn't get her feet drenched. Well in terms of being drenched it's probably already late for that. She left her umbrella behind with Haruka.

Her gaze fell on the tall building before her. They said Haruka had a meeting here, but would it be okay to show up so suddenly? Lila awkwardly stood at the buildings entrance.

"Did you two see that at the lounge?"

"I saw! Those two make such a good couple."

"But isn't Haruka married now?"

"Pfft, marriage? The two of them are so young. They will break up soon."

Lila immediately understood who they were talking about. She got rid of her hesitation, and walked through the doors. They said the lounge didn't they? Lila looked around and found Rikka on the couch. Haruka sat beside her, the two huddled up discussing some doc.u.ments.

"What do you think? Is it a good idea?"

Haruka nodded, "Yeah the concept is fresh. I think it will gather some new and promising idols."

'They seem close,' Lila leaned on the pillar awkwardly. Would it be okay to come over? She wanted to tell Haruka in person that her schedule changed. However, it seems like he is very busy so maybe she ought to think it through.
