Dream Star 666 Coloured Rain Part 1

Rose Entertainment - Two hours later -

Lila felt her hands; no, her entire body tremble when she read the so-called new changes on the script. She already had a bad feeling when she received the call. But Lila went anyway; she didn't want to listen to anything related to Kasumi anymore.

'Right now, there is nothing she can do for her friend.' That's why it would be best if they don't meet one another for a while. She has to maintain this distance, even though Lila didn't want to avoid her. She wanted nothing more than to rush to her side and hug her.

Lila shook her head and took a deep breath. She needs to focus on the troublesome task before her. The person who sat across from her was a CEO from one of the largest entertainment companies in j.a.pan.

Rose Entertainment's president. A young man twenty-five-year-old man with dust blonde hair called Ralph.

"Of course, you don't have a problem with this?" Ralph asked.

"I object."

Ralph looked at her with wide eyes, "Eh..uh..."

Lila smiled, "do you think I'd agree to this? I have an image to maintain? I was never a sweet person, to begin with."

"Teras.h.i.+msan, I believe we should discuss this more."

Lila sighed and slipped the script back onto the desk. However, Ralph immediately pa.s.sed it back to her. "Think it through."

"Why are you even asking me? You should ask the ones involved."

'Though, she low-key appreciated the warning.' Ralph would most-likely pressure Haruka into agreeing. Her husband is that gullible.

Ralph chuckled, "You're exactly like the rumors say, and that's why I wanted to meet with you."

"Is this still about Haruka?"

"It is," Ralph trailed off. "I've heard that he won't accept such offers unless you approve. Many people have tried to drag him back into the entertainment industry. However, he refused all offers until you asked him."

"It seems people keep paying close attention to us. Indeed, I persuaded him. But he was the one who brought up acting in this movie with me. He decided this alone."

'After he spoke with Rikksan,' but Lila wasn't going to say that. The people around her were already making strange remarks about it. At least with the previous girls who chased after Haruka, n.o.body paid much attention to them.

"I see, I think I understand. Then, what about if I make you the female lead for this movie?"

"Do you think I'm the type who would do that? s.n.a.t.c.h a movie from someone? I'm not that desperate to act."

Being an idol is great; she can do a variety of things in the entertainment industry. Yet, singing and performing is still the most important thing to her.

Ralph stood up and took a seat beside her, "Then, maybe that can change."

"Change?"

"If you became my girl, you could do anything you want. You can s.n.a.t.c.h things right from people's eyes."

Lila felt his hands on her legs, and her gaze darkened. The entertainment world is a shady place - while this would happen to anyone. Up till now, it has not happened to her. One of the reasons why or rather the main reason? It was Soichiro; ever since she entered the entertainment industry, he protected her. However, she recalled his words recently and sighed.

Well, she was the one who wanted to pull away from him. This is the consequence for her actions. She took a deep breath and grabbed hold of his wrist. She only grabbed it, but she unknowingly tightened her grip.

Ralph sweat fell, "It seems you have quite the grip." He kept smiling, but Lila knew he was struggling. Beads of sweat appeared on his face.

"Don't make such offers to me again," Lila warned. "Or else."

She didn't say anything more than that and let his arm go. She stood up and left the couch. Lila felt his piercing gaze on her back, but she didn't say a word and walked out of the room.

'How frustrating,' but isn't this what she wanted? To move away from Soichiro. The protection he gave her, she can no longer take advantage of it. It's fine; she is still okay. Lila quietly walked down the hallway when she b.u.mped into somebody.

"Sor-" Lila proceeded to apologize, but the person stopped her mid-sentence.

"Wife?"

Lila looked up at the person who she b.u.mped into. Maroon colored hair, "Ah, hubby."

"What are you doing here?" Haruka asked.

"Well," Lila trailed off when she saw the script in his hands and frowned. "What are you doing with that?"

"Rehearsal starts later today, so I figured I'd reread it."

Is he only reading just now? According to what that Ralph person said, they made these new changes a week ago. Then again, Haruka is too busy focusing on her matters to notice these things.

"Could you refuse?" Lila didn't hesitate with her request. She always found it easier to speak to Haruka, because unlike other people, he won't question her honesty.

Haruka blinked at her request, "Well..this is a bit sudden. But alright."

'He agreed just like that... Of course, he would.' A relieved sigh pa.s.sed her lips, and Haruka gently patted her back.

"So, since I have no work now. Can I have my way with you?"

His sudden words surprised her. Lila immediately felt heat appear on her face, and Haruka cupped her cheeks. "Is that a yes?"

"Uh, uh..." Lila didn't know what to say. Why does he suddenly do such strange things to her lately? She knew the heat transmitted from her face to his hands. 'This is embarra.s.sing.' However, Haruka wore such a gentle gaze on his face.

Haruka chuckled, "I'm kidding."

"That's not funny; my heart almost stopped there."

"Haruka?"

Lila glanced over and saw Rikka. The girl walked over to them, "Have you seen the new script? I haven't received a copy yet.."

"Mmm yeah, but I think I'll have to turn this movie down."

"Turn it down? But...there's already international coverage..." At that comment, her eyes widened, and Haruka immediately covered Rikka's mouth.

International? Already? Then again, Lila hasn't paid much attention to the promotion for that movie.

"Lila, it's fine, don't worry about it. Your uncomfortable, right? Those intimate scenes.."

Rikka frowned when she hears those words. "Wait, what intimate scenes?

Lila pulled out her copy of the script and gave it to the brunette haired girl. Rikka quickly scanned it.

"I'll speak to my father; you two don't have to worry about this."

"Rikka."

"I'm really sorry," Rikka shook her head. "This is ridiculous. He can't make these changes..."

Haruka immediately lets her go and walked back over to Rikka. He grabbed hold of the girl's arm.

"Wait, don't go now. You know he won't listen.."

Lila watched the two awkwardly, 'Is this normal between them?' One of them acting stubborn and the other one is acting like an idiot. Still, "Alright," she agreed.

"Lila?" Haruka said puzzled.

Lila sighed, "Alright, but we can take out the explicit scenes. It's a romance movie; having no intimacy would be strange. But nothing too serious." She thought that would be the end of the discussion, but she saw the two exchange weird looks. "Is there a problem?"
