Haruka kissed her for a good thirty more minutes before he let her go. He quickly led her out of the alleyway.

Lila glanced over at him and immediately noticed. Her Haruka seems deep in thought… Lila clung tighter on his arm.

"Pfft, trying to get my attention?" Haruka seemed very amused.

Lila nodded. "Haruka, can we watch the stars tonight?"

"Stars?"

"A huh." She wants to set the mood to give him the gift. The best way is to go stargazing.

"Tonight, huh.. I was going to check on Rikka.."

"Wahhh," As she thought, Haruma can't remain mad at Rikksan for a long time after all. The fact that it lasted this long is already surprising enough.

"But, since my Lila extended a nice invitation. I'll put it off for another day."

"Is something wrong? You seem distracted." Haruka commented.

Haruka raised his eyebrow, "Somehow, I'm not surprised by that."

When she was in the middle of opening the hate mail - someone she hadn't seen in awhile appeared before her. When Lila considered the timing of the mail, it was clear who planted the letters in her mailbox. But that woman still showed up.

"Are you still fighting with Ichinose?"

"Ah, not really. I'm talking about Sophia."

"What about her?" Lila immediately saw his expression darken and casually explained.

"I saw her for the first time in a long time the other day, and um I think we had a fight.."

"What did she say?"

Lila exhales deeply, "I don't remember. You see it's like all the blood just rushed to my head. I was that angry ! I remember her clearly saying things about you that I didn't like, things like you being dirty and stuff. So I told her straight up, that no matter what happened in the past. No matter how dirty your hands got, it didn't matter, that I would believe in you. I think I slapped her before heading back. Anyway, I didn't like what she said. She was clearly about to reveal something and taunting me. But I told her straight, go ahead it wouldn't matter. 'Mine and Haruka's feelings are real; you can't change it. '---" her sentence fell short when Haruka bursts into laughter.

Eh eh? Why is he laughing? Lila looked at him, puzzled. It's not like she said something that would make him laugh.

"That's just like you," Haruka trailed off. "Ahaa, really. There is no need to worry when you're involved."

Lila immediately noticed it. There is that smile again. Uwaah… why does he keep smiling like that lately? Haruka probably has no idea what sort of effect he has on her.

But huh? Did he just say he was worried about something? Lila looked concerned, "My husband, what were you worrying about?"

"About Sophia bullying you." Haruka admitted.

"Its okay, Haruka! When it comes to you, I have the strength of 1000 people!" Lila exclaimed.

Whenever it concerns him, it feels like she can do anything.

"Mmm, I see. So, do you want a reward?"

"Piggyback!"

Haruka looked at her with wide eyes, and he sighed. "Wife, you always ask for the strangest rewards. Then again, isn't it my fault for agreeing to everything…" he trailed off. "Get on."

Once she was on Haruka's back, she laughed. "I feel like a kid."

"Maybe because you are one."

Lila rolled her eyes at that comment. "Che, don't bully me. We are only two years apart!"

"I won't."

But, it is nice being with him like this. Lila buried her face on his back and inhaled his scent.

"Wife, hold on tight."

This sweet moment, however, didn't last when she overhears something some pa.s.sing individuals said. 'Could it be..?' Someone who would promote her concert in the rain like this. There are numerous culprits for that, but Lila could guess who it was.

Haruka must have understood since they quickly followed the direction of the crowd. It didn't take them long to find her. There stood Yumeko in front of a handmade stand. A large banner that read 'Teras.h.i.+ma Lila solo live'. A handcrafted stand, banner - and Lila stole a glance at a couple walking by. They were carrying one of the posters and leaflets. 'She even made those.'

Lila bit her lip. Yumeko-chan is working hard for her sake again.

"Yumeko-chan!" Lila exclaimed.

"Ah!!!" Yumeko's eyes brightened up. "There you are, Lilchan! Look, I managed to sell out all your concert tickets! I knew it. People will still come flying if it's your concert. But I was worried since the net sales were being affected by those stupid rumors."

Lila could only look at the girl with wide eyes. It doesn't matter to her if her concert doesn't sell out. Even if she only has one fan watching, she can still sing. Yumeko still went through this. She reached out for her handkerchief in her bag and immediately found one.

She wiped the girl's wet face.

Yumeko laughed, "I'm okay, Lilchan."

She shook her head, "You will catch a cold. It's almost time for the next round.."
