The moment she got down, Haruka wrapped his arms around her waist. He immediately buried his face in her neck, and Lila laughed. What is he trying to do? She looked around. The two security guards were no longer around. It seemed like it was just the two of them.

"Ah, I'm just thinking about some things," Lila mumbled when she saw his expression.

"Hmmm, I see."

"What about you, Haruka?"

"Hmm? Me? I saw someone pretty and thought 'time to attack," Haruka joked as he pressed light kisses on her neck.

He is acting so silly. But it's obvious why he came over here. Just before he was speaking with some important officials, people after all. She hardly doubts he will finish up in twenty minutes.

'Dummy, idiot.' But he is her Haruka, her greatest ally. He's always been there for her no matter what. At the start, the two of them met under such conditions, in that atmosphere filled with blood and desire. That may be why their relations.h.i.+p started that way. However, at some point, something changed.

Did things change when they went to London? It's true back then, a seed of desire woke up inside her. But that's not the reason why she started to think things like,' she doesn't have anyone else but Haruka.'

She turned her head to catch a glimpse of Haruka's face. Since when did she start thinking that she won't be able to live without Haruka? She is only a child still, and she can still meet so many people.

The past year adults who noticed how close they were, adults who disliked that and tried to break them apart; all said things like that. But even words that would usually sway a child did not work. Haruka is hers. From the very start, that's something she's been sure of this whole time.

"What is it? You want a kiss?"

Lila shook her head, "I just looked at you and thought how lucky I am."

"So even you think things like that, huh?" Haruka placed a gentle kiss on her lips. "I came here to give you something."

"Give me something?"

Haruka placed something in her palm. It was a small box. Lila turned red when she saw it. "Uh, um," she laughed awkwardly. "A gift?"

He opened the box for her. "A little protective charm. You know I don't like you walking around alone."

"Thank you, it's pretty." Lila looked at the necklace with bright eyes. It's very beautiful. It's the type of trinket she likes wearing.

He took it from the box and wrapped it around her neck. To do this, however, it meant Haruka had to bend down.

"Hey, don't turn red. I haven't done anything."

"S--sorry, but you got close." Lila stammered. Is she an idiot? He didn't do anything.

Haruka cupped her cheeks. "I know we're being watched. But do you think I can kiss you before I go?"

Oh, so he came all this way just to give her this? Lila nodded. "I want to kiss. Can we?"

"Five minutes." Haruka agreed, and he bent down.

Five minutes for Karas.h.i.+ma Haruka meant well using all his skills. The way he entangled their tongues together, and occasionally teased her drove her crazy. One of his hands lifted up her s.h.i.+rt, so he was touching her chest.

This heated moment wasn't interrupted by Soichiro, but the sound of a beeping car. Lila looked over and spotted Haruka's car not too far from where they were. Haruka parked it on the opposite road. She spotted a woman with short brown hair leaning against the door.

'Rikksan?'

Haruka's lips left hers, and she found it on her neck in seconds. "Uhhh, mmm. Hubby, this isn't just kissing now…"

"Sorry, your very pretty." Haruka drew his lips back. "I went overboard, you okay?"

Lila nodded. She felt breathless and hot, but she was okay. She reached over and fixed Haruka's clothes up, unwrinkling his s.h.i.+rt. Haruka kissed her lips again but lightly.

"Alright, wife. I will leave now. Don't work too hard."

Lila, however, wrapped her arms around him. She hugged him tightly from the back. "I'm sorry, but just listen to me for a moment. Could you not drive around with her?"

"Sorry, don't think too deeply about it. Her car broke down, so I decided to give her a ride."

"Okay, but...could you…"

Haruka nodded. "I understand." he turned around and bent down. "Do you want to continue later? Maybe during lunch?"

Contin- it took Lila a moment to understand what he was talking about. She laughed. 'Uh, maybe he is h.o.r.n.y?' Lila's gaze softened. Either way, he came here to see her for a bit. For her small things like that is enough.

"I made you lunch."

"Great," Haruka's lips curve to a smile. "So, where do you want to go? What about the park? The weather is good today."

"That sounds good. I will see you later."

"Alright, later, wife." With those words said, Haruka walked off.

Lila watched him until he got to the opposite side of the road. He wrapped his coat around Rikka.

"I told you to go back inside. You're going to catch a cold."

"I wanted to wait for you."

"Alright, alright. Let's go already."

"I still can't walk very well."

Haruka sighed and picked Rikka up. "This is why I told you...geez."

'Is there anything?' It's hard to say. But then again, Haruka is a kind person. He just leant her his coat. 'He just carried her too.' However, Rikksan isn't like those other girls. She doesn't have to pretend to get Haruka's attention. She needs to stop overthinking things. Still, Lila turned around and walked towards the building again.

What was with that just now? Rikksan couldn't walk. Her appearance seemed unusual. Lila frantically shook her head, and she slapped her cheeks. It can't be that. Besides, Haruka didn't have her scent on him. Her thoughts broke off when she spotted Kiryu waiting by the door.

"You two scared away the security guard."

Lila rolled her eyes, "We didn't…"

"Don't bother going back inside. Soichiro is throwing a fit and las.h.i.+ng out on the other workers."

"Ah, but I left my stuff--" her sentence fell short when Kiryu lifted up a bag. "Oh.."

"Let's go."

"Where are we going?" Lila asked.

"HYOU4 headquarters. If you want more information. It's actually better to go there. Not that I doubt Soichiro or anything. But getting a look at official reports will help you more, wouldn't it?"

Lila nodded. "Okay," she quickly took out her phone and typed a message to Haruka.

From: Haruka

Then, let's change the location. HYOU4 base has a courtyard. We can eat there instead.

Won't we stand out?

From: Haruka

Does that matter?

From: Lila

No, um, but we can't 'continue' there...

From; Haruka

Then let's continue when we get home. See you later, wife.

Lila paused when he abruptly ended the messages. 'Is he busy?' He only just got into the car. Is something wrong? She wanted to call him but shook her head. This paranoia of hers is too much now. She trusts Haruka. He would never betray her.
