"Is Haruka sleeping?"

Lila looked up and spotted Kiryu. "Ah-huh, after I lectured him a bit he fell asleep." Haruka was originally sleeping on her lap. But Arata told him to sleep in the spare room. Haruka didn't argue and after he kissed her for ten minutes he left to go to the bedroom.

"Go easy on him." Kiryu said as he sat down beside her.

Lila sighed. "You're so kind to Haruka, Kiryu. Are you sure your not my rival?"

"Quit joking already." Kiryu's gaze fell on the sheets in her hands. "Give me that, I will adjust it."

Adjust? Lila laughed when she scanned his expression. "Are you surprised that Haruka understood the meaning of the song?"

"Very surprised." Kiryu ran his hands through his silver hair and sighed. "Honestly it irks me a little. That guy acts like he doesn't care but actually he is the only one paying attention."

"You and Haru really get along well. "

Lila laughed softly. "Since you're already on nick name basis, I should say the same right back at you."

"Our personalities and interests overlap slightly, and well any guys who belong to a rock band are easy to get along with. Tok.u.mori Arata is the only stubborn one." Kiryu commented.

"Yet you've been staying overnight. "

"The work of the demon lord."

"Silly." she trails off. "But, I'm glad that your getting along better with each other now. After you made that arrogant sounding announcement, it really didn't look like Takano was going to accept you."

"Yeah, I really was expecting a knife of some sort down my throat. But that didn't happen. Rather he cooled down pretty quickly after having a few hours to himself."

A knowing 'ah' escaped her lips. "He probably broke a few things and relaxed afterwards. He personally came to visit you at the agency you were in, and worked on the transfer procedures with you. When Kinos.h.i.+tsan told me that, I dropped my noodles.. .and Haruka choked on his.."

Kiryu nodded. "I was surprised. But, seeing an honest Tok.u.mori wasn't bad at all. 'Please help me take care of the band. To bring your voice to it's fullest, isn't something I can do alone.'

"So in other words, you will help with the management?" Lila asked.

A smile appeared on his face. "Since I am helping with the management now too, if you slack off I won't show you any mercy."

Wah, they just gained a great talent. Her gaze softened. 'They can work together properly from now on.' While Kiryu has helped Devil a lot while she was gone. He wasn't official member of the team.

"En, I will do my best."

Her thoughts broke off when she felt somebody's gaze on her. Lila glanced over at the source and saw Haruka leaning against the door frame. She laughed, "Hubby!" Lila cheerfully said as she walked over.

"Hey, done talking?"

"Ah-huh, just finished."

"Then let's go back to work. You only have a few more jobs."

Lila tugged on his hand. "I want to go home instead."

"...Well, that I can arrange for you." Haruka seemed pleased. "What do you want to eat? Korean? Chinese? English food?"

"Etto, English food then."

Haruka wrapped his arms around her waist. "Alright, let's go." he turned to Kiryu. "Do you want to come too?"

Ah? Lila looked at Haruka puzzled. 'Aren't they going to have a date…'

Kiryu shook his head. "I will pa.s.s. Lila hates it when her date plans get ruined."

Lila nodded. "Ah-huh, that's right. So let's leave now husband."

"You really have no tac. Sorry about this Kiryu."

"Don't mind it, she is always like that." Kiryu trailed off. "Taking care of her, I think she has a fever again."

At that comment she felt a dark aura wrap around her husband. 'Stupid Kiryu!' Lila scolded in her head. She turned to Haruka who looked very angry.

"What's this about a fever?" Haruka questioned.

"It's gone now." Lila lied. She can't tell him where that fever came from. She clung to his arm. "Let's go on our date now."

"Alright wife." Haruka seemed reluctant but eventually agreed. He bent down and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.

Lila and Haruka's apartment - Star Town -

"Let's stop."

"Um, sorry." Lila apologized. "I'm more tired than I thought I would be."

Haruka kissed her lips lightly. "Mmm, I'm exhausted too. Shall we order dome take out?"

"Um, I'd like some sus.h.i.+."

"Sure, that sounds good."

'Haruka seems a bit strange. I..should do something for him.' Lila took a deep breath and tugged on his hand. "I want a bath before we eat."

"Don't force yourself."

"It's not forcing. I want to," Lila leaned forward and whispered something in his hear. She drew back with flushed cheeks. "...do those strange things with you."

"Alright wife."

Haruka scooped her up and brought her over to the bathroom. He placed her down in the tub and quickly discarded his clothes. "Lila.."

"Okay, so uh. ."

He kissed her forehead. "Ssh, I know your tired. Let's just relax, okay?"

'Does Haruka think taking a bath together will make her relax?' Haruka tugged on her night gown and slowly removed it. Her entire face grew hot when she found him staring at her.

"Don't look so much."

Haruka sighed. "Wife your too much. What do you think your doing to me?"

"It's not my fault that your a pervert Haruka."

"I guess not." Haruka trailed off and buried his face in her neck. Lila felt him slowly place kisses there. "Lila, your burning up."

"Ah-huh, your stupid hubby."

"Fever?"

"A little." Lila admitted.

He frowned and picked her up again. "Out of the bath."

Lila laughed. "It's only been two minutes."

"But your sick wife."

She wrapped her arms around his neck. "I know. I didn't want to tell you though, you would worry." Lila mumbled. That's why she lied earlier.

"Why do you have a fever? Is it a hanyou fever."

"No, it's from a gun shot."

At that comment she felt the murderous aura around her husband. Lila took a deep breath. "I wanted to talk to you about it. The reason I was tired last night was because I snuck of, not because you touched me."

"Are you purposely trying to make me angry?"

"That depends on you."

Lila woke up to sound of vigorous typing. She slowly opened her eyes and glanced over her. Haruka sat at the edge of the bed with his laptop. Her entire body ached all over and she spotted bandages all over her arms. 'Haruka must have treated her.'

She leaned her head so it rested on his back.

"Your up?" Haruka mumbled and turned around.

"I feel very bad." Lila admitted.

Haruka brushed his hands across her forehead. "Yeah, you should rest more."

"Hubby, what are you doing?"

"Mmm, the results of my investigation regarding that new drug came in."

So that's the drug that those people used on Rikksan lately. Lila glanced over at the screen but it was hard to make out the words since she felt dizzy. Haruka closed his laptop and shook his head.

"Another time."

'At least Haruka didn't refuse.' If it were before he would make sure she forgot what she just saw.

"Kiss me.." Lila requested.

Haruka covered her mouth with his and gave her a light kiss. Lila frowned, "I want the usual one."

"The usual eh?" She felt Haruka trace her lips with his thumb. "It does sound nice. But kissing you always leads to something. My cute wife, today your sick. So you have to rest."

"If hubby won't kiss, I will do it."

Haruka always let's his guard down around her. So Lila isn't surprised when she saw his shocked expression.

"Lila..."

"Mmmm, I love you so much. Please don't leave me."

When she is sick she speaks her true feelings. Haruka gently caressed his cheeks. "I won't leave you, I love you."

"Then Haruka don't do these investigating things without me."

"Lila, I told you repeatedly. I love you and won't do anything reckless without you. Tell me, do you not trust me?"

"I trust you hubby." Lila nodded. "But I don't trust myself or the people surrounding you. I'm afraid that one day I will fall for their scheme and break up with you on impulse."

"That won't happen, I know how much you love me." Haruka mumbled. He caresses her cheeks. "You know, this topic is quite depressing. Why don't we talk about interesting things?"
