Dream Star 759 Hesitating

"Are you sure? We still have that other problem."

"That person.." Lila wrapped her arms around Harukas neck and brushed her lips there. "--is lonely. She is the same type as me. Once she falls in love, she wants to treasure that love forever and stand by that persons side.""

How come this girl understands everything? It doesn't make sense to her anymore. Rikka wishes she could just hate Teras.h.i.+ma Lila. If she could do something like that then wouldn't she feel better?

'I didn't go through with my original plan..' Rikka sighed. When she saw how lovey-dovey they were, she couldn't interfere at all. 

Rikka wanted to support Haruka in any way that she could. But with her current conflicting feelings, she knew she would only get in the way. That is why she rejected the drama. The director was already rewriting the script. But she no longer had the motivation to partic.i.p.ate.

Ever since earlier they were low-key flirting whenever she looked away.

She felt very frustrated. Should she be glad that they are not flirting in front of her? Rikka deeply sighed as she proceeded to leave the building. For now she should forget it. If she does or say anything else, it feels like she would go crazy.

Her gaze fell on Teras.h.i.+ma Lila.

She truly doesn't understand this person. If she understood her, then maybe this nagging feeling would go away.

Rikka intended to leave peacefully after deciding to quit. But there were many factors involved quitting. So she remained in the lounge for awhile as she watched as the director spoke to the others.

It's not like she is that vital to the movie, they could easily find somebody else. It feels like they are making a big deal out of nothing here.

Rikka suddenly felt something invade her s.p.a.ce bubble and saw that somebody had moved closer to her, "What is it?"

It was one of the actors and an old friend of hers, s.h.i.+ndou.

"I can feel it in your heart. It's wary and your hesitating about love."

Rikka didn't think much of it and that yet catch phrase of his always mentioning about the heart. "Perhaps that's not wrong." She mumbled.

s.h.i.+ndou smiles. "Isn't that love?"

Rikka sighs, "As I thought your powers really are..."

He places a finger to his mouth, "Ssh keep it a secret..."he trailed of. "If Nagawsan finds out about it then I'll be sent on more missions - solo ones and if that happened I'd turn in to some cold hearted guy."

His tone of voice just now... So something must have happened.

"Yeah and that wouldn't be good at all."

A person always going of solo huh? Well she could think of one person. Only one would come to mind in times like this. 

Haruka, but then again it's not like he had much of a choice. Since people see him as a genius others stayed away from him. ' Even if I say something. People take it as me looking down on them and thus stay away from me.'

After she heard that Rikka understood - she understood why he always made such a expression on his face. Why he often got into a daze.

Haruka never admitted it to her though, no she had heard it from somebody else. That person never ever tells her anything important. Even though she knew him got so long.

"I know someone like that though. Someone who always goes solo. People don't  go near him because he's a 'genius'. Even if he wants the warmth of others, it's long left him - he's never been given that chance. That persons gaze always seems so cold, it always seems so empty. That person is always..."

That's right…for her…for her that person has always been…. 

Rika couldn't find the words to speak at all, she felt like she wanted to cry. She wanted to ---

"Rikkchii?"

Before she could respond she felt someone pull her away from her captain. A familiar indigo jacket tossed on her head, covering the fact that fresh tears were now pouring from her eyes.

"Huh? Haruka your back."

"Yes."

His response was short and simple, and Rikka understood why that was. Idiot, once again he caught her in this situation. But once again he's covering her. ' I'll always have your back '

"Shoot. Looks like I have to get going. Well then aidos seniors, senioritas."

Once s.h.i.+ndou left, she felt Haruka move towards her. "W--ait don't look at me. My makeups smudged. I look terrible." Rikka looked away. She doesn't want to see her like this again.

Haruka sighed. "Fool in this condition are you really worried about your appearance?" she wanted to retort yes. But she couldn't find the strength in her voice at all to do so. 

Rikka saw him remove his jacket and wrapped it around her. She felt embarra.s.sed and mortified. But now at least n.o.body could see her face.

"Yeah this face is bad."

Rikka shot him a angry glare, but a smile made it's way onto her face.

"However, it shows the real you. Isn't it fine already? To let your real self out?"

After a few more minutes she eventually calmed down. 'How many times have I cried in front of him?' This is humiliating.

"What happened to you're wife?"

"She saw an old friend."

"Here of all places?" Rikka raised her eyebrow. "How about if it's a guy?"

"She can have male friends. I'm not that possessive. I've already deprived her of a lot of things. When we first met again, she stuck to me like glue since she realized I didn't want her to leave my side." Haruka sighed. "I'm just making it up to her now."

"So something like that happened.."

"I deprived her of her moments with her friends so many times already. The other dream stars partic.i.p.ants dislikes her because she is never at practice. That is because of me too." Haruka kept sighing. "So whatever happens now, I will stay put."

She doesn't see anything wrong with what Haruka did though. What is wrong with spending so much time with the person you love?

"I still think you should check on her. What if she gets involved with a bad person?"

So this is how she ended up following Lila. But isn't that guy with her Hachiba? Those two know each other? 

"So, how about it?"

Lila sighed. "I'm not interested in giving you my number."

"Your as feisty as ever."

"Besides," Lila drawled. "I'm not interested in sharing  someone with my love rival."

Hachiba laughed. "So you know about me and Rikka?"

"What's not to know? I saw your names in the hotel sign in sheet and you were in the room next door."

"You even know about that..."

"Honestly, I only came out here to ask you for a favour."

"Keep Rikka distracted?"

"Mmm."

"You know for somebody with an innocent face, you sure do like to scheme." Hachiba trailed off. "Well, I don't mind doing you a favour. But repay me okay?"

"Yes."

Rikka's eyes widened when she heard that. 'I knew Teras.h.i.+ma Lila wasn't innocent but..' But what on earth was this? It's a good thing Haruka didn't come with her.
