That sound...so she makes noises like that now? 'That's surprising.' The Lila he knew would always hold her voice back when she felt pleasured. It seems like Haruka taught her a lot of things.

A deep sigh crossed his lips. He has no right to feel bitter about it, he was the stupid one who let her go.

Lila turned red. "I-I think that's enough. You've drank enough right?"

"Yeah." Kiryu pulled away from her and wiped the traces of blood from his mouth. 

He brushed his forehead against hers. "I drank a bit too much, so sit here yeah?"

His voice was gentle in contrast to how harshly he bit her earlier.

Lila nodded obediently. "Do you feel better now Kiryu?"

"Yeah."

"Um." Lila laughed. "You're a bit too close."

"You have a fever Lila. I'm just checking your temperature."

"Ah, I need to take my medicine." Lila mumbled.

"Medicine? Do you need food too?"

"Ah I ate earlier so I'm fine."

"Alright." Kiryu pulled away reluctantly. "Say, your pregnant right?"

"Um, yes."

"Did you think there was a chance for it being mine?"

At that comment Lila froze, she looked shocked and Kiryu sighed. "I know I haven't slept with you in a year. But were hanyou's Lila. Our body conditions differ but.."

"Ah, your right. There might be a chance."

"Sorry, I didn't mean to ruin your happiness but.."

Lila shook her head. "I think Haruka already took that into consideration. He looked a bit troubled when he heard I was pregnant. I didn't realize why at the time." She trailed off. "If it does end up being yours, I think that's fine too. Because even now I still love you."

His eyes widened when he heard those words. What the h.e.l.l? This girl is she doing this deliberately? She must be. 

"d.a.m.n."

Lila laughed. "Surprised?"

"You scared me." Kiryu sighed. He ran his hands through his silver hair. Despite her confession he felt very frustrated. It's not like he didn't know, he knew it didn't he? 

'I knew Lila still loved me.' That's why he desperately clung on, even though it was stupid. It was stupid but he wanted to-- his gaze fell towards the girl who looked at him with a gentle gaze in her eyes.

"Why are you saying this suddenly?"

"I wanted to get it out of the way, before me and Haruka leave j.a.pan. We may not see each other for awhile afterwards, so…"

"..."

Kiryu looked down at the ground.

"But mmm. You're right, I didn't plan to say this today."

"Then.."

"I just thought you looked lonely Kiryu."

His gaze dimmed when he heard her reasoning. "Do you pity me?"

"No, that's not it." Lila suddenly stood up. She walked over to the large tree nearby. "I was thinking I would tell you, just in case anything were to happen."

At that comment his gaze dimmed. "Nothing will happen, you will be fine from now on."

"You'll do something stupid and sacrifice yourself?"

"..."

Lila sighed. "I actually came here to talk to you about this. Kiryu, don't do anything behind my back anymore."

"What do you mean?"

"I know that you're secretly giving me blood. Whenever I get medicine from Eitsan, there is some medicine prescribed that is mixed with your blood. You do it subtly so I wouldn't notice. But how many years did we spend together? Did you think I wouldn't recognize your scent?"

"Lila…"

"I'm not complaining, I just feel frustrated. The more things you do for me, the more things I owe you."

"You don't have to pay me back."

Lila shook her head. "No I have to, you do so much for me and for him too."

Kiryu sighed. "Well that's true. But I do those things because I want to. Besides I care for both of you."

Lila laughed lightly. "I see, mmm. I get it. But, what can we do for you Kiryu? Is there anything you want?"

"You."

"..."

"I'm joking." Kiryu mumbled.

"You're not are you?" Lila trailed off. "Would it make you feel better if I spend some time with you everyday?"

'I don't want to force her. But maybe that would help me. Maybe I could get over her if they return to how things were before.'

"Is that okay?" His voice sounded weak.

"Mm, it's okay. I would like that."

Following morning - Haruka and Lila's apartment - New York

"Ahhhh, my hair! It's still messy."

Haruka chuckled. "Shall I fix it for you?"

"No, your spoiling me too much. Kiryu, sorry just wait for five minutes." Lila immediately dashed up the stairs.

Haruka turned to him with an apologetic expression. "Sorry about this. Do you want to come inside for a bit and wait?"

Kiryu nodded awkwardly and followed Haruka inside. He sat down on the couch and looked around. 'I didn't get a proper look at this place before but it's very nice.' It's not too extravagant but not too simple either.

Haruka placed a cup in front of him. "I would make you some coffee or tea but we ran out."

"Water is fine, thanks."

An awkward silence fell between them and Kiryu looked away. Usually he would say something to lighten the atmosphere. But he felt bad about this. It was the weekend and the two are supposed to relax together. 'I feel like a third wheel.' But Kiryu knew that he needed this.

'I need something to make me feel at ease.' 

Lila's presence has always calmed him down. But is this truly okay? Is it truly okay to disturb them?

"I'm ready!" A voice suddenly said.

'So cute…'

Haruka stood up and walked over. He drapped a jacket around her. "Your wearing too little. Remember, it gets cold over here. Keep this on."

"Hubby, this is new."

"Mmm, got it for you."

"Thank you!"

Haruka's gaze is gentle as he bent down and whispered something in Lila's ear.

"Really?"

"Yeah, so don't forget."

"Okay!"

Kiryu awkwardly stood up and made his way to the door. He knew that the two wanted to have their privacy so he decided to wait outside. To his surprise Lila quickly followed him.
