 "Could you, say relax maybe?" He usually doesn't like saying things so bluntly. But she will b.u.mp into something with the way she's avoiding looking at him like that. 

 "Ummm... " 

"I'm not. .going to talk about it now. I want to save it for after you get back, and even then it'll be a while before we speak about it."

"That's easy for you to say Kiryu. When you told me that you wanted to tell me something with that serious expression, it made me feel incredibly nervous."

"What, I can't be serious now?"

"T--that's not it. Just tone down your seriousness!" Lila exclaimed.

What on earth is she saying? 

Lila's cheeks flushed a light shade of red. "I know that we have a lot of things we have to speak about and I don't plan to run away from it. But please let me focus on one thing at a time, I have a lot going on you know. …"

"I know. " 

He knows, that right now isn't the time to disrupt the balance she has built in her life. Her violet orbs widened and they softened as she mumbles, 'idiot. ' 

The two of them walked in silence for the next few minutes and Kiryu observed his surroundings. 

New York really is a busy place. It's not as crowded as TOKYO. But because there's loads of activities going on right now there are more people.

His gaze fell towards the girl beside him who was looking away nervously. Why is she behaving so strangely? It's not like he is doing anything to make her nervous. Since she is acting like this, maybe he should do something after all?

That's Haruka...and that woman.

"Alright, alright. Don't be angry anymore. We couldn't work on that movie together. But there are other opportunities."

"You said that last time too."

"Next time I won't let you down."

"Then come with me tomorrow. Go through some scripts with me."

"Well...I have to ask."

Rikka sighed. "Is your wife that petty?"

"Yes, I am," Lila interjected.

Kiryu looked at the girl who was supposed to be by his side. But she was suddenly on the other street. 'Fast...so she uses her powers during times like this?'

Haruka's gaze is gentle when he sees her. "Hey." He wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her cheeks. "You having fun?"

"Mmm I am."

Haruka rolled his eyes. "Got five minutes?"

"Nope."

"Then I guess I will flirt with you here."

Lila laughed. "Silly." She glanced over at him and mumbled something.

Kiryu simply nodded and watched as the two walked away. A deep sigh crossed his lips as he pulled out his cigarette. The absence of the lighter in its usual place made him sigh.

'd.a.m.n.' Just as he thought this, somebody lit his cigarette up for him. He turned to the source to find s.h.i.+nozaki Erika standing there. "Thanks."

"Are you two on a date too?"

Kiryu sighed. "I wish." He trailed off. "Your not on a date with Haruka."

"How can you be so sure?"

"Do you really want me to spell things out for you?"

"Enlighten me."

Meanwhile with Lila and Garuka.

Lila found that her husband pulled her away to give her a present. She now wore a gorgeous hairclip on her hair. She didn't get a chance to admire it since he pinned her against the wall and attacked her neck.

"Nnngh...hubby."

"Mm? Are you uncomfortable?"

"Did you notice?" Lila asked. The reason why he is doing this must be because he noticed.

"I did, disinfecting."

"Okay." But she doesn't want to make strange noises outside. Haruka placed his hand on her mouth, almost as though he read her thoughts. 

'So this is how it feels to be loved and treasured.' Haruka's behavior these days makes her wonder. What will he be like when they do it again? Despite his words, he treats her very gently whenever he touches her. 

'Almost as though I'm the most precious thing..'

After a few minutes, Haruka stopped. He gently kissed her forehead. "You okay love?"

"I'm okay."

He chuckled and kissed her lips. He nibbled her bottom lip slightly before he cheerfully said. "Your very cute my wife."

"Ahh, don't trade me." Lila trailed off. "A coincidence?" She referred to Rikksan just now.

"Mmm, I was heading to the next base to inspect when I saw her leaving a cafe."

"Get some information out of her."

"Mmm, understood. What will I get as a reward?"

Lila closed her eyes briefly before she wrapped her arms around Haruka's neck. His hands made it's way towards her skirt. "Haruka, nngh...you know…"

"What is it?"

"I was thinking that maybe we should go back soon."

"I disagree. It's too dangerous Lila."

"But...nngh." She placed her fingers on her mouth. "What about everybody?"

According to what Jae-hee said last time, Yori is getting worn down. It won't be long before her friend collapses. When that happens the others will be in grave danger.

"My wife, your way too tense. You need to relax a bit more. Zane is dangerous yes but that's all."

'What kind of logic is that…'

"Anyhow your…" Haruka trailed off. "...a bit too s.e.xy today. Don't you think you should have stayed home?"

Lila laughed. "Only you think so."

Haruka gently brushed their foreheads together. "Lila, I'm sorry. But just a few more minutes. Besides you're wet."

Her entire faced heated up at his words. 'She is?' He only touched her a little bit. 

"I won't do anything you hate."

'I know that already.' But it doesn't stop her from feeling embarra.s.sed. He cupped her cheeks. 

"Calm down."

"R--right, uh…"

"No matter how many things I do to you, you still blush like this." Haruka pulled away. "I guess this is enough, if I do anything else I won't be able to return you to Kiryu."

Lila extended her hand out. "I…"

'Continue…'

There is no way she could say something that shameless. Haruka extended his hand out and fixed her clothes up. "Well, let's go back."

The last thing Lila expected when she came back was this. Rikksan and Kiryu were arguing. It happened far too quickly. Kiryu raised his hand against Rikksan and slapped her.

If it was just a slap then she wouldn't worry. But when he raised his hand to hit her again, her eyes widened.

"Kiryu!" Lila exclaimed.

She knew it was a bad idea to rush over and call out to him. But, his hands… His precious hands. She rushed over and grabbed hold of his hands.

"Kiryu, stop!"

"Let me go Lila, this woman deserves to…."

"I don't understand what happened. But please stop. You can't just beat her up in public." Lila couldn't believe it. Why is Kiryu this angry?

"Isn't that Teras.h.i.+ma Lila?"

"So that's Austin Kiryu…"

"How awful! To think she actually asked him to hit her."

"Is she jealous just because her husband pays more attention to Rikka?"
