Kiryu examined the area and whistled, they're going all out here, aren't they? The whole area was packed filled with different reports, media from famous stations. He chuckled slightly, what are these guys expecting? The collapse? Then again, with that sudden abrupt announcement, anyone would be surprised. It's not like DEVIL collapsed without Lila around. In fact, they were still very active and got loads of job offers. It's not like Oujiro couldn't have subst.i.tuted for Lila either on the singing department; and yet, Oujiro chose Light academy University. He chose to leave with Lila and the other three who could have sung too didn't. They are the ones who chose to fade out of the limelight.

The majority know this, so the backlash isn't as bad. But there are those who wish to take advantage of this opportunity.

His thoughts broke off when someone dangled a letter in front of his face.

"Another threat?"

Rinna nodded.

"Well, at least they are being kind enough to send a notice."

"I know, so what's this one?"

"About Lila."

Rinna nodded, "Seems like it."

Kiryu sighed deeply, what a pain. But if they are being so bold to take action like this. Then perhaps they have found a way, the extraction of powers. If it's like that, then he has to stop it. To be perfectly honest, he was anything like his father. Despite peoples comments on how similar they are, Arata understands better than anyone how different he is from his father. He may be considered a good leader and automatically given leaders.h.i.+p roles without question. But the actual fact is, he knows his abilities are lacking. How many times has he made mistakes? "Tok.u.mori-San, the most pressing issue is. Do you know where she is?" A reporter spoke up.

A female reporter nodded, "Yes that's right, simply abandoning her duties after becoming number one is quite irresponsible and then doing something like this."

Who are they to make such a comment? They must have sensed his dark glare since they paused but still looked at him for answers.

"But we have received confirmation that her fellow G.o.ddess4 members have been subst.i.tuting for her.."

"In the first place, let me ask you this. When you hear the word G.o.ddess4 member what do you think?"Arata asked.

The answers he received then were the standard ones.

"And…?" Arata continued.

"Uh, well someone who is bound to the town where they became a G.o.ddess 4 member…"

"It is true that the G.o.ddess 4 selection occurred here last time. However, it does not mean they are bound to this area. Universal S academy itself was a mere training program for newbies before it was changed into a school. The program consisted of a group called the G.o.ddess4." Arata brings up several images on the large screen behind him, showing the structure and foundation of the school back then.

Followed by a doc.u.ment that stated, "Universal S program groups and respected members are free to leave the town and spread their talents elsewhere…"

"The system the G.o.ddess 4 was created as a unit of four members specialising in the main idol types; they act as leaders and teachers to their fellow idols. The method they teach is up to them…"

Arata watched as everyone slowly read the words on the screen. The next showed a screenshot of the recent income balance of the Universal S academy song program.

"Does that mean she never stopped working?"

"Could you disclose her ident.i.ty…"

"I have answered your questions. Now it's time for the real purpose of this conference to start."

The members of the public who gathered finally spoke up, "Is Devil really releasing a new single?"

"Yes."

"But if she is away and even Ichinose Oujiro.."

"Worry not, our Princess will meet with us to film the MV and record the song. Of course, the location will be a secret, " Ryunosuke answered.

"I understand that normally you produce the singles and alb.u.ms. Tok.u.mori-san." a reporter asked, "However, rumours have said that someone else will be managing it this time.."

"And that you're even getting someone else to write the songs. Is that wise?"

Arata was somewhat amused by how oblivious they were acting. Don't they already know the answers to these questions?

"Those rumours are not rumours. This time around I will only be handling some background work. But the one in charge is someone our company hired recently, what's more, it's not a single but an alb.u.m of 10 songs."

"Is this person capable?"

"Someone with the kami idol rank is surely capable, someone on equal footing as our princess, "Tak.u.mi spoke up.

At that comment, Arata watched as the cameras at the back slowly changed direction to where Kiryu-san was at the back. Since Miyazawa Rosalia was with him, some cameras zoomed in to her reaction. The woman's face colour had turned pale.

"Austin-San, could you confirm this?"

"I don't think confirmation is really needed. Considering their relations.h.i.+p." Ryunosuke said, emphasizing the word 'relations.h.i.+p.'

Kiryu took the mic, that was being offered to him. "Like he just said, do I have to confirm it? My actions are pretty obvious. The reporters at the front, you all look familiar. Why don't you tell everyone where I've been going recently? If your going to play spy, isn't it a waste you haven't written a report."

Arata laughed lightly at that. So those guys already saw him? No wonder they all turned quiet. The reporters at the front all s.h.i.+fted uncomfortably, when one spoke up, "High Seed records building…"

"It's like what you're all thinking. I'm producing the alb.u.m and composing the song."

"But won't this be a burden on your own work?"

"A burden? What are you talking about? If it's for Lila's sake, nothing is a burden. Or rather let me rephrase that. Everything else, I'll consider it as a burden. But anything to do with her makes me feel more relaxed. I will work hard for her sake, but not because she asked me or anything. Simply because this is what I want."

Ryunosuke beside him laughed, "Someone take a picture of those reporters faces.."

"Kiryu-san is very good. He shut down all those rumours about him and Miyazawa in the blink of an eye."

"So King, are we going to let him do the rest of the talking?" Ryunosuke asked him.

Arata shook his head, his lips curve to a smile, "I see no reason to let the reporters of easily."

After slandering their princess for so long, do they really think they will escape so easily?
