Their gaze was determined. No one would be able to survive against an Ancient-Grade Chaos Beast. Even if Uncle Lu took this beast on, he would surely not be able to kill it.

Everyone’s weapons appeared in their hands as they activated each of their strongest nomological mystical abilities. However, before they could attack the beast, it spat out a ball of blood-red flames. The moment those flames appeared, everybody’s heavenly powers became messed up. A group of G.o.d Generals had their bodies sliced in half. Even the battle armor that they had on could not do much to protect them. Only one peak-stage G.o.d General possessed a medial-grade battle armor, which managed to block him from a single blow. Still, he ended up being crushed by the beast’s unparalleled power. At last, the flames and high temperatures turned him into a piece of barbecued meat.

In a blink of an eye, more than twenty G.o.d Generals were killed.

The power of the Ancient-Grade Chaos Beast caused Luo Ting and the last G.o.d General to tremble helplessly. A G.o.d General stood no chance against this huge beast’s flames. He did not try to kill the Ancient-Grade Chaos Beast in front of him; neither did he go inside the Fire Lake to look for Jiang Yi. Instead, he charged toward the volcano. He heard an explosive sound coming from the volcano earlier on. It was obvious that someone did this on purpose. They wanted to lure this Ancient-Grade Chaos Beast out. That was why he had to find this person. He had to either take him down or kill him. That was the only way to prove that someone was behind all of this. That was his only hope of pleading for clemency from the Luo Clan. That was his only chance of survival.
