"Missy, let's eat now!" Daichi announced enthusiastically.

Ca.s.sie looks up, "Okay, brother Daichi..." she replied and put down the book. "Knight, come on..." Ca.s.sie let the dog jump out from the hammock before she steps down from it.

"Knight, come here, boy!" Daichi called the old dog. "Hey, what's the matter with you? Hmm? Are you okay?" he asked the lonely dog and he just whining at him. Daichi avoids saying more things to the dog when Ca.s.sie is around. He knew why the dog is acting like this. Daichi petted him then encouraged the oldest dog to join the others whose being naughty around.

"Hi, guys. I made some coleslaw salad and creamy carbonara," Riley stated.

"Hey, why do I felt like... you were teaching Missy how to do a diet to stay slender... she must eat a lot of meat and all the dishes!" Daichi complains.

Ca.s.sie just watches the couples and was amused by how they argue over small things like, what food they must feed their daughter.

"Rudolf sent a message to informed us that they can't come back yet. The travel advisory canceling all the flights and will resume until the storm is gone," she told them.

They watched Ca.s.sie's reaction and sadness flash on her face but she forces herself to smile. As for they all knew what's going on, they try to occupy Ca.s.sie's attention to other things.

The women decided to bake some cake in the kitchen from Mich.e.l.le's idea and they end up making four kinds of caked.

Blaire and Ca.s.sie choose to bake a moist cake, which Jean decided to make a carrot cake for how Kier a health conscious freak. Riley helps Jean to prepare the ingredients, then Mich.e.l.le and Anna bake a caramelized cake and mocha flavored one.

For a while, Ca.s.sie forgot and enjoyed baking and thinking about Shun can have some of them if he will come home soon. After they finished baking them and allow the cake to cool down before the final touch, Ca.s.sie went to her bedroom.

She rested her back on the soft mattress and grab the pillow to hug, then another lonely night she has tonight. She thought.

"His doctor said, his condition is fine and President Crow is just like sleeping. Also, all of his organs then his vital signs are responding well. There's no complication found either, it is just that he stays unconscious until now," Kier added.

"So, have to wait when he will going to wake up then?" Levi is very much astounded of what's happening.

"Yes, Master Montfort," Kier answered.

"Alright, thank you, Attorney Kier. Don't forget to update me about anything, especially Ca.s.sie. I learned that Julius Kang is on the move again."

Another couple of days had pa.s.sed and there is no Shun came home yet. During the rainy nights, Blaire stays to accompany her to her bedroom and during days, Riley began giving her few exercises about her college entrance exam.

On this way, her days are occupied and her loneliness copes up with other things to do.

The sixth day since Shun leaves for a business trip, at the moment, Ca.s.sie just finished their lesson in the evening when she received a call from Joanna. She hurried her to open the TV to watch the news tonight. Since her bedroom has no television, she tried to search the rooms if which one has a TV.

She remembers that the Tea Room on this floor has a hidden one. She studied the remote control for this room if which one of the b.u.t.tons are for the cabinet to open.
