Quinn sat up and step down from the bed. He was surprised when a little girl instantly hugs his leg the moment he opens the door.

"Uncle!"

"Oh, it was you!" He picks up Kendra and showed to Ca.s.sie.

"Bye, little Missy!" Daichi wave goodbye then left quickly. He wants to avoid the boss sharp look.

He is like a Dragon preparing his fire breath to throw at him.

"Kendra! You came! That was fast!"

The little girl hugs her immediately then kiss her baby b.u.mp.

Later on, Cara and Loura came to see Ca.s.sie.

"Ca.s.sie! I'm so glad to see you doing fine," Cara happily said.

After Cara, Loura also hugs Ca.s.sie and notice the changes on her.

"Ca.s.sie, am so happy to know that you and Quinn are on good terms now."

She nodded and smiled. "Sister Loura, thank you for visiting. Am so happy to see all of you."

DINNER at the MANSION...

Everyone now gathered in the long table, as usual, Daichi who were too loud among the rest. The men got an idea to shared when did they meet their wives or girlfriends.

They write each of their names on a piece of paper, even those who don't have a girlfriend and not yet married. After that, they put the pieces of papers to a huge gla.s.s bowl then Blaire will draw one to choose who speaks next to share their love story.

One by one, the boys shared their love stories, and one of the loudest who shared is Daichi.

"We flew to France to see the boss because, we heard that he went to drink every night after the Young family died, including Missy as what we thought. We found him near the fountain where he made a fight with a group of Parisian. And the fighting happens that brought us to prison for a night in the police station. There, Derek proposed to her girlfriend, little Missy's mommy."

"Then I saw a G.o.ddess walk-in and after a long way of courting and many years of not giving up of proposing many times, finally, we got married and we will have an angel soon," Daichi becomes emotional in the end. Riley wipes her tears then she and Daichi kiss as what the couple should do after sharing the story.

After Daichi share their love story, they notice Ca.s.sie's expression.

"Is something wrong?" Quinn asked her.

"Ah, I am just trying to remember if it is around the time when uncle Martin brings me to the Eiffel Tower. Then a group of men fighting near the Fountain. But was raining and I am lost so am just sitting there. . ."

They look at each other. Aside to other girls, everyone knew what happened that night. It could be possible? They feel amazed to hear it from Ca.s.sie's mouth. So, this is the feeling.

Quinn has been telling them that Ca.s.sie often saw him in Paris and even there are times they b.u.mped into each other, but he never noticed it was Ca.s.sie. . . because most of the time, only his back Ca.s.sie could see and she forgets his face and their meetings on her 12th birthday. . .

They actually see each other in many places. So, that night, Ca.s.sie was there also.

They continued playing and Blaire draws is Quinn's name. Everyone was waiting and excited to hear what Quinn will go to share. They wonder if what he will tell if ever that Ca.s.sie did not yet learn about him. That would be lame of him for lying where he and Ca.s.sie first met.

"The first day I took a glimpse of her, I immediately fall in love."

Quinn grabs her hand under the table. They intertwine their fingers and hold tightly. Ca.s.sie, on the other hand, she was speechless but felt so warm inside her heart. She let Quinn finished his story.

"I have mixed feelings when I hold her fragile tiny body. It was like, holding her is a life for me. Protecting her, watched over her, and keeping her warm, is the only reason for my existence. I was mesmerized by her cuteness."

"I promise to myself that I would protect her all my life and will always be by her side. . . however," he paused.

Quinn's fingers tightening his grip to her hand.

"Fate such playful for separating me from her, and now, no matter what, I won't let anything that will part us again."

Quinn looks at her lovingly. She got blushed of how pa.s.sionate his gaze at her in front of their friends.

Ca.s.sie surprised when Quinn wipes the tears on her cheeks, she didn't notice that tears have escaped from her eyes. . . then Quinn kisses her.

It's been two weeks since she arrived in Paris. Her uncle decided to bring her to the Warsaw Fountain to watch the tower lights from there.

She and Mimie went to buy something to eat when Mimie left her. She followed her but she realized, it is the other way around and Mimie vanished from the crowd.

The light rain becomes a little heavier this time and the Garden was crowded tonight.

She found her way back to were they seated before but her uncle wasn't there anymore.

Suddenly, her head began throbbing. She starts seeing episodes she can't determine if what they are. . . it gets worse when some men began shouting then a riot happens.

Ca.s.sie covered her ears, and her eyes flooded with tears.

"Stop! Mama! Papa!"

She can't stop crying and the pain in her head is now unbearable. "Mama, papa. . ." she keeps calling them out. She can see their faces inside her head.

"Please, help me. . ."

Ca.s.sie stayed sitting behind the crowd who watch the fight and felt entertain.

"Quinn. . ."

"Ca.s.sie! Ca.s.sie, where have you been? Are you alright? Come on. Let's go home."

Ca.s.sie looked up and saw her uncle Martin. She hugs him and she cried again.

"Uncle, my head hurts."

"Then, let's better to go to the hospital."

She nodded at his uncle then she takes a glimpse of the man who just standing in the middle of the men who went into a fight.

The crowd now began leaving after the siren of the police car approaching.

What happens to him? Why does he just standing there? Is he also lost and feel pain like she is having? Her innocent mind thought and looks away. . .
