The very next day, Shun brought Ca.s.sie to the only hospital of the island. She received thoroughly checked up and tests. Her head only receives minor injury and not a serious one, only that, she got bruises on her right leg and right shoulder that made her hard to move or use her right arm.

But her ankle got sprain that made it swollen badly and it will be difficult to walk, so she was advised not to move around and avoid to stress her foot to get worse.

And because of it, she has to take a long absence from school and decided that Joanna will stay to help her and tutored her of the lessons they had for the day...she was just given homework's to catch up.

Shun spoiled her a lot by making different dishes every day and always attended her might she needs anything. She got blushed every time she'll request him of the needs to go to the toilet or taking a bath because he has to carry her again and that makes her heart gone wild.

But in these pa.s.sing couple of days, it was auntie Ling who makes and serves her meals. According to the middle-aged woman, Shun had a lot of works and doc.u.ments he has to take care of that caused him running around the island.

Auntie Ling also told her that Shun often stayed inside the library talking in front of the computer and his meetings at Seagull Resort every day that ended very late of night.

It's been six days since that mishap had happened and Ca.s.sie been so bored already. She was trying to consume her time reading the books Daichi lends her, she was surprised that a person like him is actually a book lover.

She was concentrating on that chapter because the heroine unveils a truth when someone knocks on her door.

"Ca.s.sandra?" Shun entered her room that made her surprised.

"Ahm..." she did not respond but staying silent... as usual, she can't decide whether to call him by his name or say brother Shun.

She stared at him intently. He seems very exhausted today. She felt a little guilt that these pa.s.sing few days, Shun always by her side and she is feeling that it was her who kept Shun away from his works.

"What are you doing here?" she asked afterward.

Shun's forehead shows some black lines, "Why? This is my home," he replied. He freezes a moment and weighing if his tones weren't offending. Tiredness triggers his mood.

He smiled and pat her head, "I finished my work early today so I have free time now. My next meeting will be this evening so I could take a break for now," he said then sit on her bed.

"How are you feeling?"

"I feel better," she smiled.

But deep down, she believes that Shun still has a lot of works to do but still trying to give her time, and with this, she can't avoid feeling being, please.

Shun has done so much for her. If she ever did not meet him, she knew that she will be never get pampered like this.

"Am sure you are so bored already, I'll bring you to the poolside. Do you like that?"

With this, her eyes sparks and Shun see it and understand.

He picks her up and carried downstairs to the poolside. He put her down carefully and make sure her right foot won't be touch.

Not long ago, auntie Ling brought them some coffee and m.u.f.fins, it looks tasty. Shun asks about her lessons if she was able to catch up. She answered that she has a problem in solving Math and having trouble with Physics.

Shun went to her bedroom to get her books and he began tutoring her for what she can't understand. Ca.s.sie overwhelms how Shun helping her with her lessons as well. With his explanation, the problems and solution could solve easy.

He kept accompanying her for a couple of hours until Joanna arrives and finished all the m.u.f.fins in front of them. Her best friend enjoying her stay because of the food she got to eat. Ca.s.sie just shook her head and giggles while staring amusingly at Joanna. She doesn't care if she doesn't show etiquette or modesty, that's Joanna for her.

Wonderful dinner just served in the poolside. It's getting cold and so Shun carrying her back to her bedroom. If only her right shoulder hasn't hurt, she can walk with the help of crutches...since she can't use her right arm for a while, she has to be carried around.

During the days that Shun were so busy at work, it was Daichi who was helping her around, and she felt more comfortable with him because of her comical character. Unlike with Shun's around, she can't avoid not feeling nervous. She felt like, Shun is devouring her whole being that made her heartbeat unsettles.

After Ca.s.sie settle down to her bed and prepared to rest, Shun headed to the Library and continue all the works he left to be with Ca.s.sie. He doesn't want her to think she was abandoned. But one of the reason is, he can't concentrate on his works when Daichi laughing so loud from Ca.s.sie's room. Shockingly, it makes him mad without a valid reason.

And his next move is more unexpected, to his irritation, he texted Daichi to go bake some m.u.f.fins for Ca.s.sie. In this way, Daichi would shut up but he's been boasting and was excited to show his other hidden skills.

What is he doing? Is this even his normal self? Shun thought for a moment before shook his head and tried to get back to his work. He needs to prepare for the meeting.
