Landon was standing on top of the staircase in the patio of his villa. He is throwing pierce gazes at Quinn seeing he was holding his daughter's hand, this, however, Ca.s.sie even put her other arm on Quinn and pulling her fiance while climbing the stairs. Ca.s.sie glance at Quinn with an apologizing eye about her father's childish behavior but Quinn just wink at her like saying, he doesn't mind at all. She smiled as how he makes her heart skip a beat from that wink ignoring the presence of Landon. Yet, when she turns her head to speak with her father, he is glaring at her like was telling no squealing over a wink. Ca.s.sie wanted to laugh but surely her father would only scowl.

"Landon Young! Come here!" Hannah yells at her husband. When he still not moving, Hannah marches toward him and pulled his ear and gesture Quinn to come in. Ca.s.sie was this astounded seeing her dad behaving like a kid.

"What are you doing to our guest? What would your Senior think that you only treated his son badly?"

"I don't care who he is! There is no colleagues, friends, or alliance to me when it comes to my princess!"

Ca.s.sie giggles while pa.s.sing her parents arguing over a small thing which is, a huge matter for her father. Ca.s.sie guided Quinn toward at the poolside of this Villa. She left to get some coffee for him then went upstairs to change her school uniform to house clothes.

While Ca.s.sie excuses herself, Quinn drifted his eyes toward the sh.o.r.e below and the entire Southern part of this island. . . he then wonders that everything seems familiar to him. Quinn took her arms from wrapping his waist to face her. He gives a quick kiss on her lips which made her blushes. Hmm, so cute. He mumbles. Ca.s.sie smiled and they both laughs. "Let's go to your kitchen, I'll make a special French and Italian cuisine." He watched how her eyes gleam with excitement.

Ca.s.sie did not notice but Quinn acted as if, he knew very well of every corner of this villa, and Quinn did contemplate how everything is familiar to him. He felt oddness about, he shook his head and continued preparing all the ingredients he needed.

"How big should I slices this?" Ca.s.sie asked Quinn and he demonstrates how it will be done. However;

"Ahem!" Landon coughs then entered the kitchen and pick up a clean gla.s.s then fetch some cold water from the fridge. "Ahem!"

Ca.s.sie silently slices the carrots and Quinn slowly peeled the potatoes. After Landon has done drinking some water, he whistled then left the kitchen. Quinn peeping and he saw that Landon is peeking at them from the kitchen panel. Landon gestured that 'I am watching you' then he hide from the panel.

Quinn grins, "Your dad is watching us."

"Don't mind him," Ca.s.sie bit her lower lip which Quinn secretly brus.h.i.+ng her hand by his fingers while slicing and peeling. He will intentionally get close to her arm to touch her skin. They pretend like nothing happens because Landon keeps peeping from the door panel.

Ca.s.sie was watching Quinn while immersing himself from stirring the pan, he is now making a special sauce for the pasta. She really admired how handsome he is now wearing an ap.r.o.n. He would really be a perfect cook and a husband. A naughty smile playing on her lips when Quinn glance at her direction.

He smiled s.e.xily because he somewhat guesses what she's thinking. Ca.s.sie about to drop her heart on the floor when someone is coughing. 'Ah, mood crasher!' Ca.s.sie rolled her eyes once more. This is the third times her father keep coming back in the kitchen to make sure she and Quinn did not do any naughtiness while cooking.

Quinn has finally done making their food and Ca.s.sie prepared the table for this special dinner tonight. Sitting on the other side of the table; she wanted to sit beside Quinn who sits at the right side of her father, which is her father made her sit beside her mama. She wanted to protest.

Sharing the table with her parents and Quinn, she can't ask for more, however, she wishes a life of her own with Quinn, their very own family. And she can't wait for that day to come! Thinking about it, her heart racing inside her chest. Lately, she does desire and thinks about it often.

Ca.s.sie watches her father and she could tell how he enjoyed all the food Quinn made for them. He is just prideful father although, he could admit that Quinn is beyond his expectations and he way surpa.s.ses as an ordinary man.

She and Quinn constantly exchange gazes across the table. She was very proud of him, she knows that her father could completely accept him one day, especially when she was older enough and her father is ready to give her away.

They both wanted to talk longer and shared more kisses today, but her father still finding ways for them to never have time alone.

Quinn is now bidding goodnight and Landon was enthusiastic to send him off. She still can't believe how her father was this strict toward her. He becomes a comic person like, seriously? He will find all the ways to bother her and Quinn's moments together!

Hannah invites him to stay overnight as this villa has more rooms for visitors, but Landon strongly refused to this 'crazy idea'-- according to him. Ca.s.sie was disappointed but her father's behavior is getting too much.

She escorted Quinn until the patio when rain pouring down heavily. Together, they watch the heavy downpour from the angry sky then glance at each other, silly smile tear their lips. And then, the power is out.

"Well, looks like the heaven wanted you to stay over Quinn," Hannah's remarked. "Go, honey, show to Quinn his room," she ordered her daughter.

"I will be the one to show him his room!" Landon volunteered.

"Excuse me, Mister, but you have to check the solar power why it also turns off."

"But--"

"No buts!"

"I can look at it, Mama Hannah," Quinn volunteered.

"Don't worry, Quinn. Let this man fix it since he's the man of the house."

Ca.s.sie giggles as how her mama wanted to punish her father.

"Young lady, stay here! Don't ever move!" Landon demanded.

Suddenly, they heard something fell on the floor from the second floor of this villa.

"The windows upstairs! I need to close them!" Ca.s.sie began running toward the stairs.

"Careful honey!" Landon reminding his daughter as to how dark around.

"I will follow her, papa."

Upstairs of this Villa is Ca.s.sie trying to close the windows and Quinn is helping using the faint light from the sky when the lightning flashes. Ca.s.sie finished closing all the windows with the help of Quinn. She turned around just to slammed into his strong body, "careful!" Quinn said and he wrapped her body around his arms, she was locked inside.

She sighed. This scent will always be familiar to her. She was in the middle of her own thoughts when she felt Quinn's lips on top of hers, teasing her until it deepens and so, she responded to his burning kisses.

Quinn holds her tight while continued kissing her pa.s.sionately. It was like forever, and she wishes this would never end, but the light came back and they quickly parted.

Ca.s.sie's face was now flus.h.i.+ng red, she fixes herself for her father would not be suspicious. She glances at Quinn and she saw the frustration written all over his face but he forced to smile.

She wishes that this happiness never ends. . .
