My Stubborn Mistress 305 Somewhere, Trapped In Time: Sweet And Gentle

Rain keeps pouring down in the city of Paris as two souls don't wish to be apart at the moment.

Carlisle and Marivella.

They love each other, 

but there are walls in between them.

There was a gla.s.s barrier in between, that whatever they do, they can't reach the other side.

Marivella, she turned her back from Carlisle because of her love for her family. Carlisle prepared to turn his back from his family just to be with the person he loves so much.

In the end, they took a different road, completely separated from each other. Bearing a broken heart, they let the wall become even thicker that they can no more see the other side.

Standing in the middle status of being Aristocracy, his sight of the woman he loved was like an ocean distance in a kingdom gate that kept closed.

Now in modern society, where they live in a new century, no one can stop him to fight for his love: even if she is an orphan or just an ordinary girl in this world, he could do whatever to win her love.

No one can dictate him, no one can force him for an arranged-marriage just for the sake of the name and power. Although Ca.s.sandra was born as a princess herself, still why he can't have her without this curse stuff tale?

What did he do in his past life, and he punished by heaven?

Why he can't still have a grasp of his love?

What he must do to have a happily-ever-after like with those fairy tales?

This distance they have now is even greater. It is not just like a country or a continent apart, but his enemy is not only his fate but the time itself, and the matter of this universe.

And so, what he can do to connect the time if wherever Casandra right now?

They were getting farther and farther from her, it seems. And the things he learns today is about the intimate relations.h.i.+p Carlisle and Marivella has, somewhat, a source of hope and strength for him to work harder even more to find his love.

He won't allow anyone or anything to separate them again: even if the Lord of Time or the G.o.d of the Universe, he will find Ca.s.sandra no matter what it takes.

That moment, he decided.

Quinn contemplating these things while standing in front of the window. How could he read the book? He was still clueless to everything that happens in those books. Levi only narrates to him what happens next, and the lovers got separated after the intense night between them.

Quinn reaches his chest as it throbbed, and pain tightening deep inside him. He was ma.s.saging his chest when Levi approaches him.

"Brother Quinn," Levi handed him a box of tissue. "You should wipe it now," he told him.

Confused, he watches his reflection in the window and sight of a bleeding nose he sees. When they came back, a surge of pain they've been experiencing after waking up. This might be the effect of traveling way back in time. 

Quinn took several sheets, then thanked Levi and wipes the blood from his nose. He glanced at Levi who was now attending Madison as she who suffers most from this travel. It looks like they must limit traveling consecutively.

It seems like Madison needed to set a gap of traveling to preserve her strength. They never realized this before, but probably it is more advisable to limit her to perform the time travel every other day. From then on, they must watch her health. He needed Derek to study this matter.

He is watching the couple being whispering at each other. He even misses Ca.s.sandra this must.

Later then, Levi carried Madison to bring her to the bedroom; she and Ca.s.sandra shared, for a better rest.

Meanwhile, Madison is blus.h.i.+ng red while Levi brought her to the room. A while ago, she woke up having nausea and bleeding nose. She could also feel that strength escaping from her body. It seems, having the ability to travel time has an aftereffect on her body health. There is a difference between her and Lady Isabella's capability.

Until now, she has unclear knowledge about what she could do while Lady Isabella had already experienced this time traveling for hundreds of years. Or probably, because Lady Isabella only travels at a certain time. She must look into it from now on.

She hopes that Lady Isabella would explain to her everything she needed to know. She wants to be of help a lot sooner.

Madison was in the middle of her thoughts when she felt a kiss on her forehead. She just then realized that her back already felt the soft bed but her arms still hooking around Levi's neck. Flus.h.i.+ng, she retrieves her arms but Levi stops her.

"So tell me... you were thinking deep again. Can you share it with me?" he said, eyes gazing at her pa.s.sionately.

Levi was this close actually, hardly she could breathe. She wanted to take a little distance from him but her back firmly trapped on the bed. She also avoided making any movement when Levi is leaning too close at her.

"Um, I am just thinking about asking Lady Isabella a lot of things when she came back." She is holding her breath, careful not to stammer her words.

The way Levi peering down at her is like exploring every detail of her facial frame. She gulped when Levi's head gradually lowered, then planted a kiss at the tip of her nose. She blushed, a little frustrated because that kiss seems a treat for a little kid. But then, she found him smirking, like guess what she is thinking.

"What?" she glares but the sweetest way.

"I just find it cute," he replied.

'Only cute, huh?' she sulks inside her head.

"You were sulking, isn't it?" He guessed.

Her eyes widen. How could he know?

"That's a secret," Levi whispered then cover her lips before she could reply. 

Sweet and gentle.

That's Levi for her. His annoying personality was opposite to his kisses. Madison could differentiate it now. Levi is holding her chin as he deepens the kiss. Therefore, her fluttering heart settles from the perplexity of Levi's true feelings for her. The way he treated her, is not just because she resembles someone whom she thought he loves. As everything is clearer now, her doubts vanish.

"I love you," she said after their lips parted.
