My Stubborn Mistress 321 Somewhere, Trapped In Time: Let Us Get Married Soon

He paused in front of the room Madison staying by now. He knocks on the door before he enters inside. 

He already notified her that Ca.s.sie is a different Ca.s.sie again. And so, she has to hide and Landon and Hannah.

"Hi. How was it?" She asked Levi. Madison seated in front of a round table inside the bedroom she's occupying now. She was having breakfast. Levi ordered Butler Pete to prepare Madison's breakfast once she woke up.

"We have to make up a story once again," he replied, seated to the chair across her, and then began to narrate what act they came up with.

"So, that's it."

"How was he?" Madison then asked about Quinn. She felt too sad for her parents separated like this.

In the past, they're murdered and left her without a parent. If Charles did not raise her, what would happen to her then? Is there somebody else who would raise her? Does her life lead to a different path?

Now she could remember about it, why there is no third book that takes place about her story and Levi?

"Madison?"

She came back to her senses as she felt Levi's hand squeezing her palm. She looks at him who is now kneeling in front of her.

"What are you doing?" It stunned her, thinking if Levi had planned something.

He kissed the back of her palm and then spoke up. "Let us get married soon."

Her mouth dropped open. Madison doesn't know how to respond to him as she was quite shocked that made her speechless. They just become a couple from days ago. And now? Levi is proposing to get married so quick!

Keeping her silence, Levi continued. "I know it was sudden. But pondering everything that happens, how if you disappear as well? I felt like I would become insane if that happens."

"Levi—" speechless, all she could say. She never imagines that Levi's feelings toward her are deeper.

"I act cool the whole time, regardless of what is happening, and I salute brother Quinn who stays calm until now. But if it happens to me, I will lose mine and a breakout," Levi added.

"That is why I would not let to happen. So, let's get married now."

"Now?" she was even astounded. "But Levi? You knew that my parents were in danger now. Then suddenly we get married? I wanted my parents to know firsthand. I would be happy to be with you, but I believe we need not hurry as my parents weren't here yet."

Levi smiled that made her confused. "I asked your father's blessing before they flew toward Brazil."

Madison's eyes grew bigger. "You're kidding, right?"

What can she say? She never imagines Levi would have a move like this. Well, proposing in a sudden, she must not doubt that this is the Levi she already knew. And before he confesses to her, he already made a talk to her parents and even asked her hand? She's impressed on his quick move.

"I already have prepared my wedding gift for you. Although it was just a design, it will finish one of these days."

Madison's mouth dropped open once again. And how long did this guy planning everything already? Still, no words would come out from her mouth but her tears find a trail on their way down past her cheeks then drop off her chin. Levi was drying them, and he kisses her eyes, and then her nose and forehead.

"I love you, Madison…" lovingly, said Levi.

"I love you too, Levi." Flooded with tears, she finally said them.

Levi holds her chin and claimed her lips, kisses her like there is no tomorrow.

"Wait—" Levi parted their lips and pulled his body away from her. He reaches his neck where he hangs a necklace in which the pendant is white gold with diamonds around it.

It is a ring from his grandmother, given to him and said; he must give it to the woman he wanted to spend his whole life with...

"Levi, that ring..." And Madison knew this story. She still can't believe it! Her tears have no plan to stop flooding her eyes as Levi gently puts the ring on her left middle finger.

"Don't worry, we will pick up Ca.s.sie first, wherever she is... and then, let's tell her the good news, and bring her home."

"Yes! Together, we will bring her home."

Their lips meet again and Levi pulled Madison closer and holds her tight.

Quinn and Ca.s.sie now left alone as Meisha leave to prepare going back to Mainland City and Levi went to fetch Madison to go to the company.

While working on his laptop, Quinn receives an Instagram message from Levi. The message says: 'She said YES!'

Quinn replied a congratulatory speech and then a long sermon from a father.

By the way, it surprised him at how that guy had a plan to propose quickly. Well, he did the same actually; it runs on their blood. He chuckled. He looks up and caught that Ca.s.sandra is peering at him. She averted her eyes and then blushed. Biting her lower lip is such a cute habit of hers. Silly smile tear his lips. If only he could share it with her the great news. And then, to kiss her, and lock her inside his arms. It is what he desires the most right now. He sighed. He must restrain himself again.

Ca.s.sIE'S POV

She can't take her eyes away from this man.

Who is he? Why does her heart beating this way? She does not understand why she felt like this.

It was as if her chest throbbing just a glimpse of his smile.

Is this what they called 'crush'? Ah, it is 'crush at first sight'?

But he did a kind of familiar to her. She wonders if where they possibly meet before. She was peering at him keenly, watch every gesture he did while tapping at his laptop, and then he picks up his phone and checks the message he receives. When he laughs and smiled; her heart and soul leap out from her body, and he steals it away.

He was too handsome! She wanted to t.i.tter. Ouch, he caught her staring at him. She quickly averted her gaze and avoided meeting his burning stare at her. He gives her that kind of look that it made her heart beating crazily and her chest fluttering endlessly.

Why did she act like an older teenager? She was just thirteen and yet; she felt strange. How suppose a preteen like her acted correctly?

Not to mention, she agreed to become his personal maid! What the heck?

Just a while ago, she told Levi's older brother who also named Levi that she can't stay in the mansion as a freeloader. She volunteered to do ch.o.r.es but older Levi suggested that she could a big help if she just stays at Quinn's side and does errands for him, for example: getting him a coffee, his meals or anything he needed.

What situation did she bring to herself? Something is not right!
