Serendipity - A Chance Encounter 138 I Only Need A Kiss

"I can't believe that you can't get even just one toy, how lame.", Hannah commented as Seo Joon had been trying to win a stuffed toy from the claw machine for almost an hour already.

"You're not helping, Hannah.", said the man whose sweat glistened from his neck distracting Hannah's next reply.

"W-what do you want me to do? It's not like I can-"

"F*CK yeah!", Seo Joon exclaimed without hesitation when the claw finally grabbed a weird looking toy that looked like a zombie and dropped it on the receiving hole; people near the area looked at the man in a suit playing the claw machine.

Hannah beamed when she saw that he had finally won one. "Way to go!", she raised her arms in joy and then extended it forward to Seo Joon as if she's asking the toy from him.

He had a smile on his face too but his cheeky self wanted to play with her a little, "What?", he asked as he looked at her hands in front of him.

"Didn't you get that for me?"

Seo Joon turned around and walked away with the stuffed toy in his hands, "Who said I got it for you? I worked hard for it. Shouldn't I keep it?"

Hannah walked behind him, trying to catch up but she needed to make an effort as Seo Joon's long legs made long strides. "B-but… I thought it was for me?"

Glancing at her with a smirk on his face, he continued to tease, "If you want one, you should get one for yourself."

"You are so mean, Joon! It's not that easy to get one! Claw machines are hard!", she reasoned.

"Well, you clearly didn't think of that when I was sweating and trying my best huh? You even told me I was lame."

Hannah instantly felt guilty, "I didn't mean that, don't be mad. It just came out of my mouth… I wasn't thinking."

Seo Joon stopped walking and Hannah b.u.mped into his strong back, "Aw!", she rubbed her forehead. "You seriously need to stop doing that!"

Turning around to face her, he had an amused expression that made Hannah gulp. "Well, you seriously need to stop walking from behind me too."

He grabbed her hand and held it with his. "From now on, you should just walk beside me."

"What?!", Hannah pulled her hand away, blus.h.i.+ng by the sudden contact.

Seo Joon bent down to her level, "If you want this stuffed toy, I can give it to you. I only need a kiss.", he shamelessly demanded.

She averted her gaze and started walking away, "Why would I kiss you? We're not… together."

He shrugged and followed her from behind. "Suit yourself. I already told you how I feel, Hannah. It's now up to you to make a decision."

Upon hearing that, Hannah's cheeks warmed up even more. 'd.a.m.n it. Why are you being stupid, Hannah?', she said to herself in her head but as she was thinking about it, she was also daydreaming about the two of them being a couple. 'Well, that would be nice.'

At a penthouse.

Gael De Luca was in his checked pajamas as he was playing mini-golf when one of his men, the same man from yesterday walked up to him.

"Master, we have found where she's heading.", he reported.

Gael's hand that was about to swing the club stopped and he turned to him, "And you are sure?"

"Yes, her car was last seen at a gas station and she's on a trip with a female friend.", he confirmed. Though he doesn't know the exact location yet, just knowing where Becca's direction was, it had saved his life. He knew that if his master says something, he will definitely have it done.

Gael De Luca patted his shoulder firmly, "Good. Then we'll leave soon. Find out exactly where she is by the end of the day."

"Yes, Master.", he acknowledged before he turned around and left.

Walking towards the floor-to-ceiling window, Gael had a c.o.c.ky smile on his face. The woman who escaped from his grasp was finally found.

Becca had left Country T, a country from the west, and went back home to Country K. To escape Gael, she had to stab his left leg with a pocket knife that she secretly took from one of his men. After learning that Gael was not who she thought he was, she had already wanted to flee. But how would she have known that he was a possessive man?

Becca was locked up in his mansion for weeks, she had tried to escape but had always failed. The only thing that she was thankful for was that despite knowing that Gael was an evil person, he had never physically hurt Becca. So when she escaped, she had just hoped that he will stop looking for her and find another woman to play with.

"Looks like we're about to meet again, Love.", he spoke, emitting a dangerous aura around him and the room instantly felt colder.
