Seo Joon Kim had just finished going over some doc.u.ments. He was pretty slumped since morning and had not checked his phone yet. Noticing the time, Seo Joon thought that he should call Hannah to check in on her.

Taking the mobile phone from his desk, he stood up and made some coffee as he dialed her number; it rang. He waited until it gets picked up but Hannah's phone was left in her office while she was up in the roof garden with Samantha.

Seo Joon thought that she must be busy at that time so he decided to send her a text instead. While he was typing in his message, his phone beeped signaling that he received a text. A notification popped on the top part of his screen, it was from one of his friends.

[Isn't this your sister? www.gossip…]

Seo Joon's thumbs stopped tapping the screen when he read the little preview of the message. His brows scrunched up before he tapped on the notification to check his friend's message. When he clicked on the link, a website page opened on his phone's browser and there it showed an article about something that was uploaded almost an hour ago. He skimmed through it very quickly until he found the video.

On the video thumbnail, Seo Joon saw his sister Samantha and his girlfriend Hannah. He had not even opened the video yet but he already swallowed, "What are you girls up to this time?"

Clicking on the video, he watched it carefully. The audio wasn't very clear but the video was. Seo Joon's eyes widened when he saw his girlfriend splash the juice on the actress' face and he flinched when Samantha slapped Nancy's face.

At that moment, Seo Joon didn't know whether to be proud or scared of his sister. And at the same time, he was also worried for his girlfriend, Hannah. So after watching the video, he grabbed his coat and headed to his car.

The Busy Bean Cafe

One of Hannah's staff came upstairs and told them about the situation outside. Hannah and Samantha decided to stay in place to avoid being seen by them because they didn't know how they would react; a crowd like this can be really scary sometimes. They could just be having fun because of what happened or be furious because they were die-hard fans of the two actresses from earlier.

While the two of them stayed on the roof garden upstairs, a black Maybach parked across the street, inside sat a worried Daniel. On the way there, he had already spoken to Samantha to ask her where she was. After she told him, Daniel didn't waste time and went to her. He was about to get out of the car but his a.s.sistant stopped him, "Boss, there are too many people. Wait here for a few minutes.", Ahn said before he got out of the car and headed towards the cafe.

But Daniel couldn't wait inside any longer so he got out of the car and followed his a.s.sistant across the street. Ahn noticed his boss but there was nothing else he can do so he walked faster and tried to get past the sea of people.

"Excuse me, we're going inside. Please make way.", Ahn said repeatedly as he tried to split the crowd for them.

At first, the people outside of Hannah's cafe made faces and glared at Ahn because they didn't want to move from where they were standing but when they turned their heads to complain, their mouths were left open upon seeing a handsome looking man in a dark blue suit.

The women looked up at the tall figure. They admired his sharp jawline and his warm but fierce gaze. Daniel walked calmly towards the entrance of the cafe without glancing at the women who were gawking at him as they subconsciously stepped back to let him pa.s.s through.

"Oh my… how handsome."

"I think I just found my future husband."

"This man… I think I've seen him before."

The crowd continued to whisper amongst themselves and were very curious to know who this beautiful creature was pa.s.sing by in front of them. Daniel didn't show any emotions on his face and it made him look more charismatic.

When they reached the door, a.s.sistant Ahn opened it and ushered his boss inside. Though there were a lot of people outside the cafe, fortunately, they didn't force their way in and just stayed out.

Daniel scanned the cafe but didn't see Samantha. He figured that she might be on the roof garden.

"Stay here.", he ordered his a.s.sistant before heading upstairs.

When Daniel arrived, Samantha noticed him right away. "Daniel… you're here."

He rushed to her side and made her stand, he then turned her around to check if she was missing a body part or something.

"H-honey… wh-what are you doing?", Samantha asked her handsome man.

He held her face with both of his hands and lowered himself a little to check, "Are you okay? Are you hurt?"

Samantha saw his worried face and she couldn't help but stifle a laugh, "What are you worrying about? I'm fine, honey…"

"Nuh-uh, she hurt her hand from slapping.", Hannah told Daniel.

Samantha turned her head and glared at her best friend, biting her lip as she made a deathly stare at Hannah.

Hannah stuck her tongue out playfully and chuckled.

When Daniel heard what Hannah said, he carefully lifted Samantha's hand and saw that her palm had swollen a little.

"How hard did you slap? Why did you exert so much and hurt yourself in the process too?", he questioned and looked at her.

"What? Are you going to tell me that I should have just used a baseball bat instead?"

Daniel furrowed his brows at her and she pursed her lips before she smiled guiltily.

"As long as you're okay.", he said while he patted her head gently.

He pulled her towards him and kissed her forehead, "Are you aware of what's happening outside?", he asked.

In which Samantha nodded her head, "Yeah, it's crazy huh?"

Just as she finished speaking, footsteps were heard from behind them and a tall and attractive man in a suit appeared.

Samantha saw him from Daniel's shoulder. Tilting her head, she called her brother, "Joon… you're here too."

Hannah who was sitting on the bench froze when she heard Samantha, her heart suddenly raced as she wasn't sure how she should act with Joon in front of her best friend and Daniel Cho.

She stood abruptly and eyed Seo Joon, "Uh... Joon!"
