Serendipity - A Chance Encounter 81 Not A Virgin

She caught sight of her best friend not far from them. Hannah was smiling and had ugly tears on her face. She didn't say anything when she hugged Samantha and just bawled out. Sometimes, words are not enough, not needed. And in Hannah's case, her wailing is enough to show what she's currently feeling.

a.s.sistant Chen and Alexander Li were also present and both of them talked to her for a bit.

"Madam, it's very nice to see you again.", said a.s.sistant Chen.

"Thank you for all your help, Chen.", Samantha turned to Alexander, "Alex... I... I'm sorry I left you with all the workload. You must've been very busy."

"It's no big deal, Sam. And I'm glad you're back. Welcome home.", Alexander gave her a quick hug.

"Hey... welcome back.", Nathan Yun's voice sounded from the side and Samantha turned to him

"Nathan.", Samantha gave him a light smile.

"I feel... bad that I didn't know about your past. I should have treated you better. I kinda sucked as a boyfriend huh?"

Samantha didn't know what to reply to him. When she left, her close friends have learned about her past and Nathan Yun was one of them.

"You didn't know and neither did I. It's not our fault.", she gave him a bitter smile.

"I'm just glad you're okay now.", Nathan lightly brushed Samantha's hair before he joined Alexander on the side.

Daniel also greeted Samantha's parents and brother. All three of them thanked him relentlessly for doing everything he can for their daughter. They have already acknowledged him as their daughter's future husband even before he found Samantha. It was such a different feeling but Daniel liked it very much.

"Sister-in-law! You're finally home! Thank G.o.d!", Liam was seriously happy.

Samantha chuckled seeing Liam, the bags under his eyes were obvious, "Oh, poor you! What happened? You look like you hadn't slept for days."

Liam looked at his brother with an evil eye, "My brother happened.", he scoffed but Daniel was indifferent with his behavior, after all, it was a favor and he was going to pay him back.

Samantha seemed to understand what happened. Daniel had delegated all his workload to his brother and left the country to get her. Then a crisis happened a few days ago, even with Liam's capabilities, it was just too much for him. Although it wasn't entirely her fault, she still felt bad for him.

"Aww... If you need anything, let me know. I'll grant you a wish.", she offered.

Daniel stepped in right after he heard Samantha, "You don't need to, I'm the one who should give it to him."

"I can accept both of your offers, you know?", Liam spoke before he left the two alone.

"You were so harsh with your brother. He must've had a really hard time, you should be nicer to him.", she said.

"This is me being nice to him.", Daniel replied. Samantha didn't know whether to laugh or cry, Daniel was too evil even to his own brother.

A baritone voice sounded behind Samantha making her jump, "Samantha."

She turned around antic.i.p.ating the face of the familiar voice. "OH MY! Shawn! It's so good to see you! I missed you!", Samantha and Shawn exchanged hugs making Daniel feel very jealous.

'Who the h.e.l.l is this deep-voiced male?'. Daniel wanted to pull Samantha away from the stranger but it looks like they're really close so he just tried to control himself.

"I missed you too, sweetie.", Shawn said as he flashed his gorgeous smile.

'Okay, why is this giant being so sweet like that?', Daniel sneered in his thoughts.

"Huh, it gets on your nerves too, huh?", Seo Joon spoke to Daniel in a low voice. Daniel looked at him trying to understand what he meant.

"Do you know him?", Daniel asked.

Seo Joon nodded and said, "I'm pretty sure Hannah is dating that guy. Though I don't know why he's so close to Samantha too. And 'sweetie'? Really? He's too bold."

"Wait, there is something really different about you.", Shawn thought it over and Hannah joined in.

"You've noticed it too? I thought it was just because she hadn't come home for a while but there is definitely something weird."

"Mhmm… I noticed it right away.", he said.

Daniel at this time was beside Liam and Seo Joon, they're watching Hannah, Samantha, and Shawn.

"Why? What is it?", Samantha was truly curious. 'I didn't do anything to my hair.', she thought.

"Oh, Sam… You look nice... There's something different about you, your aura... It's so vibrant... Oooh... I think I know now, you're no longer a virgin!!!", Shawn said with a smirk.

The boys who were just near them had very weird expressions on their face; Daniel's eye twitched, Liam spat the water that he was drinking and Seo Joon's nose flared, 'WHAT?'. Seo Joon and Liam looked at each other before they looked at Daniel in the eye who was now on the hot seat.

Seo Joon forcefully clamped Daniel's shoulder with his hand and gripped it tightly without saying a word and Daniel knew exactly why he was like that.

What was he supposed to do during times like this? Was there a handbook somewhere? Despite those thoughts, he was still thankful that Samantha's parents were quite at a distance and didn't hear this tall deep-voiced male's declaration.

Samantha's eyes were about to fall off from their sockets upon hearing Shawn's shameless accusation. Yes, she was willing to call it an accusation because it's just embarra.s.sing.

"Shawn, believe when I say that I can and will punch you in the face."

Seo Joon smiled, "You better clench your teeth if she says she's gonna do it, she will.", he said before he took a sip from his gla.s.s of liquor.

Shawn just laughed it off, "Relax, you look great and blooming. The sèx glow suits you."
