After Phoenix left, Jiang Fei stood still for about ten minutes before he was able to recollect himself.

“Whew! I was lucky to have escaped death!” Jiang Fei exclaimed as he sat on the ground.

The two biggest fears of any human were none other than awaiting death and the realization of having survived afterward. When faced with actual weapons of guns and knives, the fast-paced casualty would not involve any fear. Fear would only arise when told the forthcoming time of death. The period of waiting to be killed would be the most terrifying!

Similarly, after having escaped death, the aftermath or recalling of the incident was equally frightful. This was what Jiang Fei was experiencing. Whenever he recalled the moment the lightning sparks were forming on Phoenix’s fingers, Jiang Fei could feel his entire body go cold with sweat!

“D*mn! I am never taking such a risk again!” Jiang Fei rubbed his face as he exclaimed.

Fortunately, the Bio-Experimental Girl was someone Jiang Fei knew in the past. His own benevolence had also helped to save his own life. Not only did he survive, he even earned himself favors from a Level 5 Metahuman!

Although Phoenix had only promised to help Jiang Fei twice, these two offers of help were priceless!

D*mn! I can finally have the backing of a Level 5 Metahuman! As he thought of this, Jiang Fei suddenly felt the fear he experienced earlier fade away.

In the past, Jiang Fei had always fooled others by using the namesake of his fake master. If he were to be confronted by someone who did not buy his story, Jiang Fei would not have been able to provide any evidence.

However, things were different now. With Phoenix’s support, Jiang Fei would be able to back his own story up!

“Captain, if you are done resting, we can harvest the Bio-Experimental Laboratory!” 0541 suddenly interrupted Jiang Fei’s thoughts.

“Alright!’ Jiang Fei stood up and started walking toward the Bio-Experimental Laboratory’s control room.

“Woof, woof, woof…”

Jiang Fei had barely taken a few steps forward before a group of Bio-Experimental Hounds appeared in the walkway.

“D*rn!” Jiang Fei was taken by surprise. As he had come into contact with Phoenix earlier, his invisible effect had already faded away.

“Woof, woof… Ah-woo…”

The hounds ran toward Jiang Fei as soon as they saw him. However, just as Jiang Fei was prepared to strike back, the group of hounds suddenly bowed down before him.

“D*mn! What is going on?” Jiang Fei asked confusedly.

“These fellows had already been domiciled by the young lady’s mind powers. Now that you carry the young lady’s scent, they must have mistaken you as the young lady’s subordinate,” 0541 explained.

“Whew! That explains it.” Jiang Fei looked at the two scar lines on his arm. He was able to save himself without even summoning Phoenix!

With such protection, Jiang Fei was able to wander freely in the experimental laboratory. Although he could not command the hounds, they would all bow down to him whenever he pa.s.sed. The hounds would only resume their normal behavior after Jiang Fei had moved away.

Without facing any resistance, Jiang Fei was able to arrive at the control room successfully. Apart from the original setup by Braveheart, there were various other electrical setups from Earth. Such equipment must have been used by the j.a.panese to study the alien technology.

“0541, let’s have a look at the j.a.panese’s research progress,” Jiang Fei said as he placed the ring on the main controlling computer’s thumb-drive port.

After approximately fifteen minutes, 0541 was done with organizing all the information in the j.a.panese’s computer.

“The owner of the computer we met previously was indeed someone of a low rank. He possessed incomplete information. In truth, the Kas.h.i.+koi household had already discovered this place since twenty-two years ago,” 0541 said.

“How far have they decoded the Bio-Technology in this place?” Jiang Fei asked.

“They have already decoded at least 30% of the Bio-Technology here and have set up Bio-Experimental Laboratories elsewhere to ma.s.s produce Bio-Beasts and Bio-Humans,” 0541 answered.

“What?! Ma.s.s produce Bio-Humans?” Jiang Fei was gravely shocked.

“Of course they can’t produce Level 5 Bio-Humans,” 0541 explained while laughing. “Their current technology only permits them to produce Level 2 Bio-Humans and a small amount of Level 3 Bio-Humans.”

“Whew!” Jiang Fei let out a sigh of relief. However, Level 2 Bio-Humans were still extremely strong. It was quite unbelievable that hey were in fact ma.s.s producing these creations.

With a huge army with tens of thousands of Bio-Humans and Bio-Beasts, even if they were all Level 2, there still would not be any country who would challenge it with their own army.

“This is their core Experimental Laboratory. They are trying to create an even higher-level Bio-Human. For that reason, they have captured a large number of mutants,” 0541 said.

A picture suddenly appeared on 0541’s computer screen.

“D*mn it… Are these j.a.panese insane?” Jiang Fei exclaimed after he saw the picture.

The picture displayed two locations. The first was an Experimental Laboratory with rows of gla.s.s containers arranged neatly. The containers were filled with an unknown green liquid. In the liquid were naked humans who had tubes connected to their bodies. These were all the j.a.panese’s Bio-Experimental subjects!

There were labels on the containers which indicated whether the group of thirty to forty subjects were Level 2 or Level 3 mutants!

The second location in the picture was even more shocking to Jiang Fei. It displayed a messy burial site with stacks of corpses which appeared to be failed experimental subjects. According to the records on the pictures, all of them were also captured mutants!

“Holy sh*t! How many low-level mutants have the j.a.panese captured?” Jiang Fei suddenly realized that he may have discovered the j.a.panese’s shocking scheme!

“There is a total of seventy-eight Level 1 and Level 2 mutants, and fourteen Level 3 mutants used in the experiments,” 0541 responded with accurate figures.

“The j.a.panese have truly gone mad! If this piece of information were to be discovered by the major rice-exporting country…” Jiang Fei was suddenly interrupted by 0541 before he could finish his sentence.

“I am afraid that even if the major rice-exporting country finds out about this, the Tokyo Empire which already has the Bio-Army would not be afraid of the consequences,” 0541 said.

“D*mn it! They have used my inheritance to do such disgusting things! Can’t anybody sort these people out?!” Jiang Fei slammed his hands on the table angrily. He could not bear the thought of the j.a.panese people succeeding with their evil scheme!

“That would not be too difficult. These fellows’ technology is still not sophisticated enough. They would have to insert microchips into the brains of these experimental subjects to fully control them. Besides, if these experimental subjects were strong enough, they would very likely break free from the microchip’s control. Phoenix is the perfect example! Therefore, as long as we are able to find the core controller, we would be able to change the microchip’s fidelity command,” 0541 said.

“Can you change it right away so that the Bio-Army that the j.a.panese have created would cause a riot?” Jiang Fei asked.

“I am afraid I cannot do that right now. I have only just taken control over this Experimental Laboratory. The only thing I am capable of changing now is the fidelity command of these Bio-Experimental Hounds,” 0541 replied.

“That would work as well. Let’s take control of these hundreds of hounds first!” Jiang Fei nodded as he said. These Bio-Experimental Hounds were in between Level 2 and Level 3. The total number of 500 of them would be enough to form a formidable army!
