“Ding! You have obtained a Holy Item, Dragon’s Bane!”

Once 3 billion experience points came in, Jiang Fei immediately gained 6 levels and reached Level 76. At the same time, his Reputation Level with the Nephilim Race was at Respect and Approve with the entire Shadow Faction.

After allocating all the attribute points to Vitality, Jiang Fei examined the second Holy Item that he could use.

Dragon’s Bane (Throwing Weapon, Nephilim Holy Item)

Use: Throw the spear to a target, dealing damage 100 times your Attack Power.

Note: Dragon’s Bane is a spear that auto locks on a target. Attacks will have a 100% hit rate as well as ignoring all Defense or Damage Mitigation effect. Once tossed out, you must pick it up again to use it again.

Jiang Fei was speechless. The Holy Item was too strong to even be called a Holy Item! Unlike any other kinds of weapon that Jiang Fei had seen, Dragon’s Bane was a Throwing Weapon that does not require a player to equip it to use. Like a bomb or explosive devices that Jiang Fei had used before, the Dragon’s Bane could be used at any moment in time just by taking it out of the inventory.

Unfortunately, being extremely powerful, the spear would require the user to pick it up after throwing it out. If the enemy had not perished, anyone could pick it up and use it against him!

Even though it had such a problematic effect, the Holy Item attack power was horrendously strong. Jiang Fei had basically obtained a powerful nuclear weapon! With the Dragon’s Bane, he had greater confidence in finis.h.i.+ng the third t.i.tle Challenge Quest.

Before he bid farewell to Augustus, Jiang Fei had requested the King for a position in the Shadow Faction for Nina. The King had agreed immediately as he needed the ex-Saint of the Light to spread his influences around. Basically, to do the same job as she did in the Light Faction. It was all to defeat the Light Faction!

After returning to the Demon Flame Fortress, Jiang Fei, Nina, and Sylphy went to look for Hua Mulan. With two Overlord tier bosses helping him, Jiang Fei’s Demon Dragon Fortress was as good as impregnable.

After everything was done, Jiang Fei look through the quest window to view the content of the third t.i.tle Challenge Quest.

Quest Name: The Progression of the Brave 1!

Quest Objective: Defeat the Drake, Fluer and use Fluer’s muscles to summon and kill the Yeti King Ouzdann.

Quest Reward: t.i.tle – Elite Explorer.

Since the t.i.tle Challenge was a solo quest, Isabella was the only one that could follow Jiang Fei to finish the quest. He could not bring in his harem to help him.

“Right on! Let’s go!” said Jiang Fei confidently. He was already Level 76, which surpa.s.sed the recommended level. Besides that, he had the Dragon’s Bane in his inventory.

The location that the quest had provided was still within the Faction Region. However, it was extremely far from the Demon Flame Fortress and the Light Faction. It was the territory of the Draconian Race.

Jiang Fei was confused as Drake was part of the Draconian race. Isabella explained to Jiang Fei that a long time ago, ancient Dragons were a sociable race that had befriended and did it with females of other races. In the end, there were many different kinds of subspecies. There were so many different kinds that Isabella was lazy to list them all. Drakes had many similar characteristics of a dragon. The difference was that Drakes had no wings and were much smaller. They were quadrupedal by nature and had low levels of intelligence.

It was unknown as to why there were so many Drakes roaming around the Draconian Territory. The reason was unknown because of the Dragon’s ignorant behavior. They would not recognize the Drakes as one of their own. They would not care for them or rather, the Drakes were just too small for them to notice. Lastly, they would not want to know their origin as well. If you tried to talk about Drakes or other “illegitimate” offsprings to a real Dragon, they would immediately change the topic or leave you alone.

Due to their nature, the Drakes were ignored completely. If one was killed within the Draconian territory, no Dragons would even be bothered by it. Since the death of a Drake was treated like the death of a chicken, many had come from a faraway land to kill them. As such, the t.i.tle Dragon Slayer had become common. Although they dared not and could not fight a real dragon, defeating a Drake was still a commendable feat.

Jiang Fei and Isabella had been flying for more than 5 hours. As he landed, he could not help but feel envious of NPC’s teleportation ability. Maps were just too large to travel across even with the help of a dragon mount. Thank goodness that he had a beautiful dame by his side or Jiang Fei might have already stop halfway through and given up.

“HUH? WHAT THE h.e.l.l?” cried Jiang Fei as he saw someone roaming around.

“The City of Sinners is just nearby. They must have come from there,” said Isabella.

“City of Sinners?” said Jiang Fei, confused. The name was familiar but he could not recall when or where did he hear it.

After a while, he finally remembered it. When Jiang Fei had logged into the game, the system had published a system patch information. All players who chose the Shadow Faction will be teleported to the Demon Flame Fortress, players who chose the Light Faction will be teleported to the Divine Light Fortress, and players who chose the Neutral Faction will be sent to the City of Sinners.

“Hmm. I think we should go to the City of Sinners first to unlock the Teleportation Node. That’ll save us a lot of time,” said Jiang Fei.

There were many means of traveling in the game besides running. Teleportation Circle exists to help players travel instantaneously to another city, although it would cost a few gold coins. The conditions to travel to another city was to either utilize a quest that would automatically teleport you to the city or travel there by your own two feet. Only through registering the Teleportation Node in your character, you may travel to said node again. In simple terms, you would need to travel there by foot once, unlock the Teleportation Circle, and then you would be able to teleport to the city freely.

Jiang Fei was still flying in the sky when he made his way to the City of Sinners. It was a Level 50 map but players that were present then were only about Level 45. Forming a party here and grinding levels would be good since the monster’s sp.a.w.n rate and the experience points were high. Even the equipment drop rate was good as compared to the earlier maps.
