After keeping the Heavenly Thunder away, Jiang Fei chatted with Akatziris for a while. Jiang Fei made it clear that he would not treat Akatziris as a slave or a servant. However, he would also not marry her as the Nephilim King had wished. He would merely treat her as his friend and even like an older sister.

As Akatziris had signed the strict contract with Jiang Fei, she naturally dared not blatantly object him. However, she did not say a single word. Her eyes glistened brightly as if she had something in mind.

There were already very few ladies around Jiang Fei. The female figures in the game and in real life had taught Jiang Fei well. Now, although Jiang Fei was not exactly an expert in romance, he was at least more composed when confronting women.

After making things clear with Akatziris, Jiang Fei felt much more relaxed. Although he was forced to be around yet another lady, Akatziris’ appearance as his pet did compensate Jiang Fei’s loss of Isabella.

Not only did her existence boost Jiang Fei’s overall battle power, she also was like an encyclopaedia for she seemed to be very knowledgeable about the game and could answer most of Jiang Fei’s questions.

After chatting with Akatziris, Jiang Fei took a look at the time. There were only a few hours left until he had to log out from the game. However, he did not rush back to the Naga race. Instead, he chose to set up something else.

Although the Nephilim and the Merfolk were working together in secret, the two races were still preparing for the battle ahead. However, Jiang Fei did not want to allow the Luminous Vatican to forge ahead peacefully. He intended to mess things up for them. Therefore, he used another one of his trump cards. Even if he could not weaken the Luminous Vatican, it would be enough to disgust them thoroughly.

Very soon, news about Jiang Fei working with the Dragon G.o.d to steal from the Pope’s Tomb had been spread around as he wished. Jiang Fei had described the interior of the Pope’s Tomb with absolute accuracy, especially the part about the First Pope’s mummy trap. Those who had never been would not know about it.

Therefore, Jiang Fei’s words were very highly trustable. In fact, Jiang Fei had even provided some of the treasures from the Pope’s Tomb as proof. That made the fact that he was the culprit of the robbery even more believable.

Firstly, Jiang Fei was already their sworn enemy due to his status as part of the Nephilim race. Secondly, the young man had already become the most wanted criminal since he had wooed the Saint of the Light. Therefore, there was no greater punishment for him.

Although Jiang Fei was the most wanted criminal, the other rumored culprit was in a questionable state. That was because the other person rumored to have robbed the Pope’s Tomb was the Dragon G.o.d. The Dragon race was already known to be very ruthless, let alone the Dragon G.o.d himself. Although the rumor between the Dragon G.o.d and the Moon G.o.d was a forbidden topic in the Luminous Vatican, it was difficult to stop people from talking as rumors tend to spread very easily.

Therefore, the Luminous Vatican was unsure of how to deal with it. The only option they had was to report the incident to the Divine Light G.o.d.

When the Divine Light G.o.d heard about the news, it nearly drove him mad. He was already beyond angry when he failed to capture the Dragon G.o.d’s b.a.s.t.a.r.d son. For that, he had decided to keep his sister, the Moon G.o.d, locked up. Now that the Dragon G.o.d had robbed his predecessor’s tomb, it was an outright slap to his face.

The Divine Light G.o.d did not need to carry out any investigation to know that the news was true. Firstly, the Dragon race was infamous for their behaviors. All of their race members were greedy for money and treasures. Therefore, it was a reasonable a.s.sumption to think that the Dragon G.o.d had the same motive.

Secondly, most people would definitely be killed by the First Pope’s mummy. Only Celestial beings would be able to defeat the First Pope with ease. Most Celestial beings, including the Nephilim King, would not embarra.s.s themselves by doing such a thing. Therefore, the culprit could not be anyone else but the Dragon G.o.d.

Previously, the Divine Light G.o.d had suspected that the Dragon G.o.d could be involved. However, he did not have proof before. Now that Verdure Glider had openly admitted that the Dragon G.o.d was involved, the Divine Light G.o.d eagerly brought his men to confront the Dragon race.

When the Nephilim King and the Emperor Poseidon found out about this, they were overjoyed. Although everyone knew that the Protoss race would not go head to head with the Dragon race, the incident was disgusting enough that Protoss race would never again become allies with the Dragon race.

Jiang Fei initially had plans to watch the whole ordeal unfold at the Dragon race’s territory. However, he was worried the Divine Light G.o.d might confront him instead. Therefore, Jiang Fei chose to stay in the Nephilim race’s territory.

In the morning, Jiang Fei logged out of the game. As he was getting quite used to his new powers, he immediately took off on his sword and headed south.

After nearly ten hours of flying, Jiang Fei finally arrived on land at the south pole in the evening.

“Captain, I have good news for you!” 0541 suddenly called out.

“Have you found a signal of the fragments?” Jiang Fei asked excitedly. He was not expecting immediate good news upon reaching the south pole.

“It’s not that…” 0541 replied. “Phoenix corpse has been fully restored. All damaged parts have been healed. It is ready for the transfer of consciousness.”

“Transfer immediately!” Jiang Fei was overjoyed. If that were the case, Ariel could be revived after twenty-four hours.

“Yes, captain!” 0541 immediately did as Jiang Fei asked.

“0541, start scanning for fragments!” Jiang Fei was very excited. He did not want to waste any time.

As long as Ariel was revived, the evil beast would be completely overpowered by Jiang Fei. Jiang Fei would be able to do whatever he wished to it. The Bio-Sample would no longer be an issue.

Jiang Fei’s most important mission now was to find the engine room. Once he found it, Isabella’s revival would be able to take place very soon.

“Yes, captain! You may move around freely to scan the area!” 0541 said as it activated the scanning mechanism.

Although the south pole was small compared to the other continents, it was still a very large region. As it was already quite late when Jiang Fei arrived at the south pole, he was not able to cover much ground. By nine o’clock in the evening, Jiang Fei was still unable to find anything.

As it was summertime in the south pole, the nights were very short. Even if it was already nine o’clock in the evening, the sky was still brightly lit.

“Captain, we can’t complete the search in a day. I suggest you eat something and take a rest for a while!” 0541 advised. Jiang Fei was too over-excited right then.

“Alright!” Jiang Fei nodded. He knew that he would not be able to find the engine room right away. Therefore, he decided to listen to 0541’s advice and descended from the sky.
