He was fixing his suit when his phone suddenly rings.

"Clint, what's the update?" he responded.

"Ethan, I don't know what's happening but I've been watching the Gray's house since yesterday but I haven't seen Stacy went out at all. Also, the house was heavily guarded. It looks like she is being guarded as well." He explained.

"Are you sure about that?" Ethan creased a brow.

"Yes I'm sure. it looks like she's under house arrest. But I will try to look into it further. It looks like she's going out with a gentleman tonight." Clint reported.

"Okay. follow them silently. and whatever happens, make sure to protect her for Aisha's sake."

"I will." Then Clint disconnected the call.

Ethan was thinking about Clint's statement. Looks like Silver knew about Stacy and Aisha's ident.i.ty. If so, then why is Stacy with him? What is he planning to do? then once again, his phone rings. He looks at the caller id and smiled.

"So how's my sweetheart?" Ethan answered the call with a smile plastered on his face.

"She's still beautiful as always." Aisha chuckled on the other line.

"Ah, now I am being tempted to go all the way there just to see my queen." Ethan jest.

"You don't have to. In fact, I'm safe since I have Shawn here." She a.s.sured him. "By the way, how's Eli?"

"His doing good. But grandpa took him in the ancestral mansion for the time being. How about you? how's your operation going?"

"I didn't know it's this complicated. But were still trying to figure out everything. I think we're almost there." Ethan heard her sigh.

"I know you'll be able to decipher that in no time. besides, you have a great team and having you will strengthen the pack even more." He tried to encourage her.

"Thank you. I'm just so happy to have a great man like you in my life. you know how much I love you right?"

"And I love you more. You should take good care of yourself always." Ethan spoke tenderly.

"You too. I love you. goodbye." Aisha ended the call with a smile on her face.

"Can you tell me how you found a guy like Ethan?" Sophie pryingly asked.

"Sophie, where have you been? I didn't see you when I woke up this afternoon." She probed.

"Ah, I woke up at around four in the afternoon and I can't go back to sleep so I decided to go hunting at the back." She explained as she sat down on the kitchen chair. Aisha handed her a cup of coffee which she gladly received.

"Thanks." She mumbled. She looks so tired.

"So what happened to you last night?" Aisha purposely asked her.

"Nothing especial. We have already placed all the needed CCTV cameras around the place. The roads were also covered." She nonchalantly replied.

"And…?" Aisha wants to hear something else.

"What do you mean "And…"?" Sophie imitates her tone.

"That's it?" Aisha creased a brow. Sophie was able to decode what Aisha was trying to imply so she lightly hit her head.

"Will you stop that!" she glared at her friend but Aisha only laughed. It was when the boys came out from their sleeping quarters.

"Good morning everyone!" Caleb greeted them. basically it was already six in the afternoon but since they worked all night, they slept all day. Aisha then handed everyone a cup of coffee.

"So do we need to go out tonight?" Hunter suddenly asked.

"We still need to place the other surveillance camera at the three remaining sites. but Hunter, you will be staying here tonight to monitor the other two." Aisha replied.

"I like that idea!" Hunter chuckled meaningfully as he stared at Sophie. then he smirked.

"Stacy." Sherry approached the woman who was fixing her make up. The lady looked at her. "Stacy, before you go, I just want to let you know how happy I am to meet a sweet young lady like you. I will never forget you. never." she smiled as she caresses her hair.

"I will always treasure my memories with you Miss Sherry too. Thank you for letting me experience how it is to have a mother." She replied.

"By the way, I have already placed the picture of me and my daughter inside your bag. Open it when you are already in your safe haven, okay?"

"I will. But please follow as soon as possible. I will be waiting for you outside."

"I will." Sherry embraced her tightly as if it would be the last time that she will be seeing Stacy. Then she went out to see Silver.

After a few minutes, Stacy came down to see Johnny waiting on the couch. They bid Silver and Sherry a temporary goodbye then Johnny drove off to the central city. As soon as they set off, Silver and Sherry got into the other car as they maneuver the road to the Art Symposium location.

"Ah! I never thought that I will be seeing you here Mr. Mikasa! What a coincidence." Silver greeted the man who just got off from his car.

Demetrius stared at the woman beside him then he kowtowed. "Good evening Ms. Gray. I hope you will enjoy the night." then he walked pa.s.sed through them as if he didn't see Silver at all. his mere action annoyed Silver so he upsettingly clenched his fist.

"That b.a.s.t.a.r.d! How he dares to offend me? let's see!" Silver was burning in anger.

"Will you calm down!" Sherry whispered. "Will you try to end the night without offending anyone again!" she was distressed. Then they entered the gallery along with the other visitors. After a few more minutes, Ethan came in and he was spotted by someone hiding among the crowds.

"Is everything ready?" Flynn asked the old technical manager.

"Yes. the timer is on. it will blow off in a few minutes." He responded.

"Okay good. Then let me do my part as well." Flynn laughed evilly as he goes inside the gallery to see Ethan.

***Few minutes had pa.s.sed, while all the visitors were having a great time, a loud explosion rocked the whole gallery. People were running for their lives, leaving some wounded people behind.

The explosion caught Silver's attention who was busily arguing with someone over the phone outside the building. When he turned around, the gallery building was on fire and is about to collapse. His eyes widened in horror when he remembered who he left inside.

"No! Sherryyyyyyy!!!!!!" he roared desolately.
