She jolted in surprise when the man caught her searching his personal things.

She made sure to escort Silver as he exited the house gate before she run back to their room to continue rummaging for information. she never gave up seeking for any evidence that she can use to sue silver.

Last night, she pretended to sleep when Silver came from his work. Then she saw him holding a blue file and hid it on his drawer. She wants to see what's inside it that's why when Silver showed up, she wasn't expecting him at all.

"What are you doing?" Sherry was rooted to where she was but she tried to hide her knees trembling.

"Uhm, I was looking for my Emily's picture. Have you seen it?" she started acting. "I'm sure I placed it somewhere here in the room but I cannot recall it."

"N-no, I don't know where it is." Silver averted his gaze but Sherry was able to see that. now she's sure that Silver must have hide it somewhere.

"Ehm… I wonder where it is." She continued searching but she diverted her search to the mini book stand. "By the way, why did you came back?" she asked while flipping one of the books.

"I forgot something." then Silver strides to his drawer and opened a seemingly secret drawer inside another drawer. Then he keyed in some numbers. Unknown to him, Sherry was secretly observing in a corner.

She saw Silver pulled a blue envelope inside the secret drawer. Ah! It was the same file that he was holding last night. yes, Sherry can recognize it. hmm, it's seems important. She thought. after a few minutes, Silver bid her farewell once again.

"Take care." Sherry smiled genuinely but as soon as Silver exits the room, Sherry showed her scowled face.

"I will never forgive you, Silver." Her heart was consumed with anger whenever she thinks about her daughters whom she abandoned at a very young age.

"I'm sorry Stacy, I can't come to you yet. Mom needs to do something first." She closed her eyes with a heavy heart.

At the North State, Sophie accompanied Hunter to the hospital when the ambulance came. Shawn needed to stay since he needs to relay all that had transpired to the INL staffs as they secure the whole place.

On the other hand, Aisha and Caleb heard what happen to Hunter so they rushed to the hospital. To their surprise, they found a wretched Sophie seating on the floor while leaning on the wall. It looks like she's been crying overnight due to her bulgy eye bags.

"Sophie, are you okay?" Aisha run and knelt before her. then she gawked at her with guilt-ridden eyes.

"It was my fault. I'm sorry!" then she sobs again. Aisha embraced her as she tries to comfort the crying lady.

"No, it was never your fault. It's no one's fault." Aisha caress her back. "Don't worry, he'll be alright."

After a moment, the doctor came out together with the nurses. Sophie and Aisha stood up at once and asked Hunter's condition.

"We have tended his wounds already. Don't worry, he'll be alright. All he needs is a few days' rest." The doctor smiled with a.s.surance.

"Can we see him?" Caleb asked.

"Yes. But at the moment, he is sleeping." The doctor notified them then they left.

Sophie, Aisha and Caleb entered the room and saw some st.i.tches and bandages on his head. Hunter certainly received a ma.s.sive blow.

"Phew! At this rate, it would be hard for him to face his girlfriend Rikka with his ugly face. Hha!" Caleb's taunting laugh echoed in the room but he soon stopped when Sophie glared at him murderously.

Aisha elbowed him. "How could you joke in times like this? If you don't have any good things to say, just shut up, okay?"

"Fine! Sorry! I was just trying to lift the atmosphere." Caleb explained.

"Sophie, let's go home first. You also need to rest." Aisha implored her.

"You can go. I'll just stay." She answered weakly.

"Just go home woman! I don't think you would like Hunter to see you like that when he wakes up." Caleb stared at her from head to toe. "So I suggest you go home and take a bath because you stink already. Don't worry I'll stay here." Caleb smirked teasingly.

Sophie blushed a bit when she remembered how Hunter kissed him but accuse her of having a bad breath after. So she stood up and head towards the door.

"Fine!" she rolled her eyes before leaving the room.

"Sophie, wait for me!" Aisha giggled before she rushed outside since Sophie was walking fast. Ah! This blossoming love, she imagined.

It took Ethan thirty minutes before reaching Stuarts hospital. he was somehow caught in a traffic jam on his way. As soon as he parked his car, he went directly to the elevator and punched number five. He didn't care about the people looking at him full of questions and doubts.

As soon as he stepped out the elevator, he strides to the left wing and was looking for room 1497. He was about to ask the nurse when he heard a man called out.

"'Ethan!"

Then his eyes widened when he turned around to see who called him. surprise can be seen all over his face.

"You…?" he uttered. "Why are you here?" his voice hints irritation.

"Ethan, I know we have some unresolved issues in the past and I hope you forgive me. but I didn't call you for that." the man lowered his head.

"So why did you call me?" he raised a brow.

"Because I need you. I need your help."

Ethan scoffed. "You need me? don't you think it sounds ridiculous?"

The man slightly curved his lips. "Ah, I'm sorry. My statement was wrong. I should say, someone needs your help." The man saw Ethan twitch his lips, meaning he is interested to hear him.

"Ethan, Stacy needs your help." The man saw his surprise look. Does that mean that he knew? Johnny huffed. Yes! he knew, Ethan surely knew about the twins!

"I know that you already knew about Stacy and her twin sister Aisha and you must be madly angry at Stacy right now. But I hope you can help her--- for Aisha's sake." Johnny pleaded.

Ethan was rendered speechless. He knew? Since when? He was dumbfounded at first but he tried to regain his stance.

"You! how did you know about them? since when?" he glared at him murderously.
