She was shocked when Silver suddenly slapped her. It hurts that her cheeks turned red like a tomato. Though she had already expected that when she saw Silver came in, she still didn't know how she was unable to sense him coming. Fudge! Was she that concentrated in calling Rio? Well, her plan failed and now she doesn't know what to do now. Only miracle would save her from this evil man.

She glared at him with contempt.

"Are you that afraid of him if he ever discovers the truth?" she scoffs.

"Why should I be? I can kill him anytime; don't you know that?" he grinned. "I have already destroyed his life in the past and I can still do that today."

"I admit that." He chuckled. "But I won't kill him for now. I want to see how he will react when his adopted daughter destroys the peace he tried to establish a long time ago."

"You!" She glowered. "What are you planning?"

"Nothing. I had just sealed a deal with your daughter just now."

"She was the bravest among your twins and I admire her for that. Anyway, she came to me first so that's basically not my fault."

"The golden egg!" Her eyes widened. Then a certain memory came into her mind. "No!"

Sophie and Hunter landed on the central state's airport after a few hours. Archie was there to fetch them and as soon as they spotted him, Hunter suddenly felt a chill in his spine. Dang! That kind of gaze, he already knew that. How can't he glared at him when Sophie was clinging tightly in his arm. Dang, this woman. He thought.

"Dad!" Sophie waved then she run towards her father and kissed him on the cheek.

"Hi uncle. How are you doing?" he fakes a smile.

"I was just doing fine earlier but when I saw you, I don't know if I am still okay." He said sarcastically.

"Dad! Is that how you greet my savior?" Sophie pouted.

"You!" how he wants to spank her daughter but he controlled himself. "Why don't you ever learn?!" he scoffed.

"Dad, you better accept the reality that Hunter will be your son-in-law sooner or later."

"Shut up!" he interrupted but Sophie laughed it out. "Will you just get in…"

"Okay!" Sophie excitedly entered the car followed by Hunter.

"Dad, where is Sahaya?" Sophie suddenly asked.

"She's at the hospital with her mom." He replied.

"Ah, then I will surprise her then." She giggled.

"I don't think she will be surprised. She already knew that you're her aunt." Her dad spoilt her happiness.

"Ahy! Why did you tell her?" she yelled.

"I did not. She saw your photo and said that she already met you." He explained. "She's smart like me, you know."

"Tsk!" Sophie scoffed. "I don't think she got that from you." She laughed.

"You! You haven't change a bit." Archie's face glowered.

"She looks more like mom. Good thing that Caleb and I got mom's features same goes with Sahaya. Haha!"

"You got your dimples to me though." He chuckled.

"Yeah right. Good thing." She exhaled a relief.

The whole drive was filled with Sophie and Archie's conversation while Hunter had been feeling left out. He can't even breathe inside since Archie, once in a while, glares at him. Dang! What did he do to deserve this? He thought.

After a few minutes, they dropped Hunter at his house but before he even entered the house, Sophie shamelessly called out from the car's window.

"Hunter, I'll fetch you later so we could visit the hospital together." She smiled.

"Don't you have the word "Rest" in your vocabulary?" he replied.

"For now I don't. okay, see yah! I love you!"

"Bye!" Hunter bid farewell then he entered his shop.

At the moment, Aisha received information that Ethan will be having a meeting today so she prepared herself to break into Ethan's room. She'll try to get the golden egg from him. Hoping that it was hidden inside that vault.

After a few minutes' drive, she was already inside the subdivision but she hides her car somewhere so no one would see her. Then she carefully tried to break inside the mansion. She was able to sneak in. Well, it's easy for her to avoid the CCTV's since she's been there for a span of time and she knew how Ethan's men do their daily routine.

She was able to enter Ethan's room through its veranda. Unknown to her, someone from not far away had been observing her since the start and had been recording all that she's doing.

She was trying to open the vault when she suddenly heard the doork.n.o.b being unlocked. Fudge! She curse but she was swift to hide herself behind the curtain. She knew it was Ethan. She can see his shadows going near his drawer. She must have forgotten something. After a while, the man walked out the room.

Aisha then resumes what she was doing and after a few minutes, she successfully opened the vault and there it was, the golden egg! Finally! But when she was about to turned around to leave the room, she jerked when she saw Ethan standing right in front of her. Her eyes widened but then she tried to attack him just so she could escape. Good thing she was wearing a mask so he couldn't identify her. However, Ethan was strong enough to counter her attacks. Now the man pinned her on the gla.s.s wall.

"The golden egg… give it back." His tone was firm. He has her hands locked behind her. Ethan was about to take her bag pack but once again, she attacks him using her feet. She attacked him at his weakest point. Dang! Ethan cursed as he fell on the floor and Aisha took her chance to leave the premises immediately.
