He was lost in his thoughts while he treks the stairs going to his room. He didn't know how he was able to safely entered his room despites the dark surrounding.

But then, Rio knew that she was hiding something deep within her heart. It's a relief that the hate and bitterness deep within her didn't led her astray. Rio must have been a good father that's why Erika grew up to be a willed but good woman.

Sherry shed a tear when she remembered Erika. When she was a child, she always wanted to be independent. She doesn't want to be a burden. She always saw how Cole mistreated her mom and most of the time, Erika took the punishment that Emily was supposed to receive. But that didn't shake her, in fact, she showed apathy. "I tried to convince Cole to get you back… I was supposed to come back that time but something happened." Sherry lowered her head when she remembered the last memory she had with Cole.

"We need to go back! Emily and Erika are still young. they still don't know what they're doing!" they were arguing while Cole was driving away from the City.

"Cherry! We don't have time for them! They will see us once we go back and they will surely kill us! Do you also want them to find out about your daughters? Do you really want to involve them into this?" Cole yelled.

"But what do you want me to do? just leave them behind? Who will take good care of them? Do you think I will allow them to live off the streets?" She was trembling with anger. "Cole, whether you like it or not, I will go back once we're done with your stupid mission."

"Fine! you do that… if you want that man to know your secret!" Cherry suddenly paused then after a few second, she stared at Cole who was concentrated at driving.

"Cole, you're not planning to sell me off, right?"

"Who knows? If it will save my life." he smirked meaningfully.

"Cole!" she yelled at him. "Don't you dare do that or else!" she clenched her fist.

"If you don't want me to expose you then you choose…"

Cherry went silent all of a sudden. She can't risk to expose her deepest secret to that man. if it happens then she'll not just lose her daughters but everything!

"Stop the car. I need to pee." She indifferently uttered. Cole stopped the car in a corner and in an instant, Cherry got off the car and went behind a big rock. The sea seemingly was waving at her. ah, it was relaxing to see the waves splas.h.i.+ng below. She smiled. she also took her phone out and dialed out a number, however, she heard a gunshot in a distant. She instantly dashes to see Cole but she was dumbfounded when she saw him dead.

She covered her mouth using her hand. A man holding a gun was walking towards her. she stepped back. This man, it's no doubt that he killed her husband.

"W-who are you? what do you need from me?" she asked while she continued to stepped back. She's nearing the cliff. Dang!

"Me? I'm your greatest nightmare!" he laughed evilly. "Unfortunately, I can't let you live since you knew a lot." He pointed out his gun on her.

Cherry looked below. She can swim but she's not sure if she will survive the depth of the sea. It would only be a miracle if she survives but who knows? She heaved a heavy sigh and whispered a silent prayer.

"Please… don't kill me. my daughters are waiting for me." she tried to plead but she knew it was useless. Then she saw the man's finger almost ready to pull the trigger.
