Omni-Mastery 22 Perception

At the very first day of my second week of stay in the forest, I departed from the cave as I started practicing the most prized footwork that I found in my house.

For some reason it was hidden behind a shabby book, and If I didn't browse every other book at least once, I would have missed it.

The name of this footwork was 'Storm Steps', it was divided into three chapters. However, I could only practice the first chapter 'Swift steps' partially while the other two chapters were somewhat of an impossible feat with my current stats.

After testing the first chapter out, I could somehow tell that it needed at least an agility stat of 20 which I was barely able to achieve, and thus I decided to start my practice of it within this week of herb & information gathering.

The principle 'Swift steps' wasn't very hard unlike the rest of the chapters, it applied the support of the wind and bodily agility to almost double my speed, so it shouldn't be very hard to master by the end of the week.

The bone dagger which its tip was made of a sharpened crocodile scale was dripping cold dark brown blood, this was the result of an ambush that was done by a snake while I was grabbing a certain herb.

Although I was trying to be cautious I wasn't cautious enough, this was after all all new to me, and if I didn't react fast thanks to my recent training I would have already been poisoned.

Such a result was to be expected for the first day of my exploration of the swamp, but since then I have decided to add honing my senses to my training plan, and although it might slow me down at first, it was a vital thing to do.

Four days later.....

I was met was several ambushes through the last three days which helped advance my dagger art faster as I was able to antic.i.p.ate the ambushes within a certain change thanks to my latest training regime, but that wasn't the end of it.

A whole new stat!

The sense training not only contributed much to my mission but it also according to my prediction but also helped me acquire the ability to increase my senses and perception with stat points.

I decided the rush the mapping starting from now on, I needn't prolong it any longer.

It was a week since I started collecting herbs and adventuring through the swamp.

I had already collected enough herbs for the quests, as I was now collecting enough for my personal use.

As for the map, it was on the verge of completeness, it was almost time to start the hunt for real…..
