Some even noticed that the situation was off, fearfully taking many steps back in retreat.

The Dark a.s.sociation had mobilized an army of around eighty thousand men this time, after leaving behind thirty thousand men to surround and attack the Church's knights who had charged out of the castle. A portion of them followed Yang Ling's Magical Beast Army in attacking the soldiers guarding the castle, and another group teleported into the castle using the Magical Teleportation Formation, initiating an attack from within the castle. Even though the Church still had an elite force of nearly forty thousand people, they were unable to deal with the combined attacks of the Dark a.s.sociation and Magical Beast Territory, who were attacking them from both inside and outside.

The Magical Towers were getting destroyed one after the other by the Magic Crystal Cannons, and most of the Spellcasters were blasted to pieces, unable to dodge the attacks in time. Not only were the elite knights unable to destroy the Magic Crystal Cannons of the enemy forces after they charged out, they instead got themselves heavily surrounded and were about to be exterminated. The castle gate had been blasted open, and an endless stream of the enemy's forces were swarming out from within the castle…

He did not expect to encounter such an unprecedented battle just before he was going to make a name for himself. The castle was about to fall!

"Madison, grab my token and mobilize the Death G.o.d Puppets, quick!" After deliberating for a moment, Daniel clenched his teeth and took out his token before giving a terse order.

The Iron Edge Castle was hailed as the castle with the greatest defenses on the continent. It had st.u.r.dy castle walls, a large number of well-trained elites, as well as a formation made out of several hundred powerful Magical Towers. The commander of the soldiers trembled, fetching over Cardinal Daniel's token before leaving quickly. An ordinary soldier might not have heard of the Death G.o.d Puppets, but as a commander, he naturally knew how terrifying those metal monsters were.

Other than their ten-meter tall frame, their black armor was carved with a flurry of mysterious symbols. Each of them wielded a sharp giant scythe, slicing the soldiers of the Dark a.s.sociation that were at the front in half along with their horses!

"War puppets, my G.o.d, those are war puppets! Quick, run quick!"

Some of them rode on their tall warhorses, forming a powerful vanguard; Others used the last of their Magical Energy, clenching their teeth as they launched a rain of icicles or Wind Daggers. In that instant, both the army of the Dark a.s.sociation as well as the Magical Beasts of various sizes felt heavy pressure.

As an outstanding hunter, Bryant's reaction speed was fast. Seeing that he was powerless to stop the terrifying metal monsters, he decisively charged toward a bunker, hoping to avoid this terrifying wave of metal. Unexpectedly, he had just dug into the bunker and had not had the chance to catch his breath when the bunker collapsed onto him. His legs were crushed by a heavy slab of stone. Sparks flew as the puppet's sharp giant scythe came into contact with the Giant Ape King's armor, leaving behind a deep gash and a streak of blood. The heavy armor of the Giant Ape King that was made of Star Metal was sliced open this easily!

Looking at the wound on his body, the Giant Ape King slipped into a fury, unleas.h.i.+ng its b.e.s.t.i.a.l side. Purple flames erupted from his body after he let out a roar, then once again slammed his heavy club onto the head of the Death G.o.d Puppet. One slam, two slams… All of his attacks were aimed toward the head of the puppet. He smashed open its head, slamming the entire puppet into the ground as if it were a nail!

Under the command of the Giant Ape King, the two hundred Giant Apes quickly faced off against the Death G.o.d Puppets. The Death G.o.d Puppets launched a manic retaliation, their giant scythes leaving deep wounds onto the bodies of the Giant Apes!

Neither of the two parties backed down. Their powers matched!

The great battle between the Giant Apes and the Death G.o.d Puppets was startling, ravaging the area wherever they pa.s.sed. The heavily-armored infantry and cavalry who were unable to avoid the battle in time were smashed to a pulp. Hill-sized rocks were crushed into powder. There were deep gashes on the ground. It was as if the world was ending!
