After quickly carving out multiple tunnels, countless Groundhogs swarmed into the plaza, forming a black ma.s.s in the blink of an eye, surrounding Yang Ling and his Magical Beast Army. He could now instantly send his orders to the deepest recesses of every Magical Beast's soul. Under his command, the Magical Beasts in battle quickly got into formation, manically attacking the Groundhogs that were swarming over.

Under the command of the Tarantula King, a few thousand Red-haired Tarantulas dug into the ground, releasing wave after wave of Earth Spikes. The Evil Eyes occupied the center of the formation, focusing their attacks on the large group of Groundhogs swarming in from the entrance of the plaza. The Horned Bee Beasts and Vampire Bats were responsible for attacking the creatures charging toward them, providing the Red-haired Tarantula and Evil Eyes with aerial support and protection.

The spiders and Evil Eyes killed a large number of Groundhogs but paled in comparison to the devastation of the Burning Fire Elves that were natural Fire Element Spellcasters. Under the command of the Burning Fire Elf King, the Burning Fire Elves, who were in formation, joined forces and cast raging walls of fire. The Groundhogs that charged into the walls of fire were injured or killed in the blink of an eye, some even burned to ashes, falling onto the ground in troves!

The low-level Magical Beasts unleashed startling devastation, using their tightly knit formations to ma.s.sacre the Groundhogs swarming toward them. The high-level Magical Beasts such as the Twin-legged Flying Dragons, Chimeras, and Dark Dragons focused their attacks on the high-level Groundhogs, not giving them any chance to save the demoness. As for the Dark Dragon King, Corpse Wizard King, and the rest of the group, they were both alarmed and furious after coming to their senses from the demoness's terrifying Fantasy Domain, joining forces as they attacked the struggling demoness. Their attacks increased in intensity, each attack fiercer than the last!

The demoness was powerful, far more powerful than an average Level Surpa.s.sing Magical Beast, far more powerful than anyone could have imagined.

After training for tens of thousands of years and consuming a large number of Essence Crystals from high-level or even Level Surpa.s.sing Magical Beasts, she was just one step away from becoming a Divine-level Magical Beast. As long as she consumed a few more Essence Crystals of Level Surpa.s.sing Magical Beasts, it might not be too long before she becomes the first Divine-level Magical Beast in the history of the Ural Mountain Range.

As the nest of the Groundhogs, Mount Gya is heavily guarded with many caves of varying sizes littered a several-hundred-mile radius around the mountain. As a precaution, the demoness had instructed her army of Groundhogs to dig out a ma.s.sive maze within Mount Gya, spending a great deal of effort on the nest she lived in.
