The love birds entered the mall's entrance, holding hands.

Catherine and John went inside a woman's boutique...

"I'd like to buy a new dress, a shoulder bag, and shoes but I have no money, can I borrow money from you, John, please?" she gives him a puppy dogs eyes.

John can't resist her overly cute charm. "No problem, Cath. Pick up anything you like I will pay the bills," he said.

Catherine smiled broadly feeling ecstatic. She gives John a quick kiss on the lips feeling grateful to him.

She chose a pretty dress for her mother, an elegant shoulder bag, and a pretty sandal. John paid her purchases in the cas.h.i.+er's section.

They exited the boutique and proceeds to stroll inside the mall in casual and relax manner. They looked just like any ordinary loved up couple, their fingers intertwine to each other.

Inside John's mind, he was feeling happy because Catherine seems to be falling back into her old self before that incident in the pool took place. Hope she was not faking her sweetness or else he will surely feel devastated.

Inside Catherine's mind, she finds her acting so natural. Maybe because her body was naturally drawn to John, it's always acknowledged John as her master, she feels no repulsion every time their skin touches as if that horrible thing that happened in the swimming pool does not exist for real at all, but just a figment of her imagination. Her hatred for him only exist in her mind but her heart and her body was immune to it.

John and Catherine entered the maternity dress section, Catherine loves running her fingers on the fabric of the dresses, admiring their vibrant colors and textures. She has no plans to buy any more dresses because she already had lots of maternity dresses in her closets.

Next, they went to the infants clothing section, Catherine spotted a cute bodysuit for a baby boy, she gushes over its cuteness. She picks up eight bodysuits with different colors.

She smiled with happiness and satisfaction with her purchases. John gladly paid the baby's clothing in the cas.h.i.+er's section. They lingered in the infants clothing area for another fifteen minutes.

Afterward, they exited the baby's section and continues strolling inside the mall. After getting tired of strolling they entered a fast-food restaurant, John ordered their foods and a few moments later they began eating their lunch.

While eating, John was observing Catherine's action, looking for any sign that she was just faking everything including her sweetness. He wanted to believe that she was changing for the better.

Catherine was aware of John's penetrating gaze, he was studying her. She tried hard to ignore his gaze. Her complete forgiveness takes time, she can't rush it, she will take her time, for now, she had no problem faking everything.

Done eating their lunch.

Catherine decided to go home because she was feeling tired already.

"Let's go home now, John," she said.

"You're tired?" he asked softly, he caresses his fingers on her cheeks.

"Yes. I wanted to rest and lie down on the bed. I'm feeling sleepy," she covered her mouth cause she was already yawning.

"Okay, let's go home now," he replied. He called Ramon from his phone informing him that they were going home.

They walked towards the entrance and went to the parking area. Ramon was already outside the vehicle. John handed the bags to him. Ramon put the shopping bags in the car compartment and entered the vehicle to start the engine.

Ten minutes later, they were already traveling on the road, Catherine starts feeling sleepy and close her eyes. John wrapped his arms around her so that she can lean on his shoulder.

Thirty minutes later, they finally arrived at the Mystic Bay Twin Tower. John shakes Catherine gently.

"Cath, we're home now. Let's get inside the elevator so that you can rest properly in the bedroom," whispered John in her ears.

Catherine opened her eyes and was glad they already arrived so that she can rest in the bed properly.

John a.s.sisted her in getting out of the car and they entered the entrance, heading to the elevator area.

Once they finally entered the flat. Catherine and John went straight towards the master's bedroom, Catherine discarded her dress and change into a comfortable dress, she eagerly lies down in the bed to continue her slumber.

She shuts her eyes.

John watched her shut her eyes and after a few minutes, she was already in a deep sleep. He covered her body with the blanket and he eased his body beside her, spooning her.
