The CEO's Painted Skin 314 Awestruck!

John emerges from the entrance of the building, looking dapper and handsome wearing a black slack and long sleeve white polo s.h.i.+rt. He looks every inch like a business executive cut out from a men's magazine, he was oozing with masculinity, confidence, and power. Catherine's heart melted into a puddle with his das.h.i.+ng sight. She has not seen him for two days and now she's finally going to experience his intoxicating nearness and enjoy his lavish attention once again. Ramon exited the front seat and opened the pa.s.senger's door on Catherine's side.

Catherine shuts her eyes for a few seconds and when she opened her eyes, her megawatt smile greeted John. She's been looking forward to seeing him today. Two days being apart from each other was like two weeks already.

John was very pleased to see Catherine's smiling face. "Wow, how lovely! You look amazing today my love!" he murmured and kissed her cheek. With great care, he a.s.sisted his pregnant girlfriend in getting out of the car.

They were holding hands while walking inside the building heading towards the elevator that will bring them to the 13th floor where John's business headquarter were located.

Inside the elevator, John can't help himself throwing a glance at his lady love. She looks terrific today!

Catherine kept her eyes glued on his s.h.i.+ny shoes.

"What's so interesting about the floor, Cath?" he noticed where her attention was fixed at.

She grinned and look in his eyes. "Your shoes are nice!" she commented.

John smiled and gathered her in his arms. "I'm glad you're finally here!" he murmured and bestowed her a kiss on her forehead.

When the elevator opened up in the 13th floor, they strolled casually into the inside of the business headquarter, cubicles were lined up along the way towards John's elevated office. Soon enough, everyone in that room notices the couple walking in the hallway, all employees attention were now directed to their employers' presence and the pretty pregnant woman walking beside him, they were holding hands, which spokes volumes. It's the first time they saw their reclusive Boss bringing a woman inside his business headquarter.

Catherine greeted the employees with her most charming smile.

When John and Catherine were about to climb the steps towards his elevated office. John turned around and made an impromptu announcement that stunned Catherine!

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I am proud to present to you... my future wife, the one and only Catherine Ramirez!"

Catcalls, praises, congratulatory words and thunderous applause's resonated in the air for a few minutes.

"Kiss...Kiss...Kiss...!" somebody shouted among the crowd of employees.

Soon enough the request gathered momentum, everyone joined in shouting wanting to witness a romantic kiss from the love birds until it becomes deafening...

John and Catherine smiled at each other. John holds Catherine face lovingly and claimed her mouth for a searing kiss that took their breath away, the torrid kiss so beautiful it silenced everyone who is watching them from a far...they all fell awestruck with the spectacular display of love and affection emanating from the couple.

Everyone gushes upon witnessing such a romantic spectacle happening live before their very eyes...

The crowd can's stay silence forever, they were soon gus.h.i.+ng in admiration towards the couple...

'Awwww...so lovely...'

'So romantic...'

'Simply beautiful...'

'They look so perfect together...'

'Never seen such a romantic scene before...'

Scattered comment floats in the air. They'd never seen this loving and romantic side of their Boss, until now. He gladly kissed her pregnant girlfriend pa.s.sionately in the lips while everyone was watching. The women were swooning and blus.h.i.+ng, while the men were coughing.

After a few minutes of kissing, John reluctantly tore his mouth away from Catherine, he planted a kiss on her forehead. Catherine blushes red all over her face. She then pinched John's side in front of everyone.

"Awww...they were adorably cute together...," a woman gushes.

Everyone claps their hands and once again congratulatory words and praises rang in the air for a few minutes.

John was amused. "Okay, listen, everyone, in line with this celebration I will treat you all to a free lunch my treat! There will be lunch buffet in the conference room later, enjoy it guys!" he announced cheerfully.

Another deafening applause and merriment erupted from the crowd. Everyone is now excited and looking forward to eating lunch which going to happen two hours from now. The favorite caterer that Sandra, Romeo's wife had chosen will soon begin delivering the foods one hour from now.

The couple turned around, climb the rest of the steps and proceed to John's office.

John opened the door wide to his office, allowing his pregnant girlfriend to come inside first. Then he closed the door behind him.

"What a spectacle!" exclaimed Catherine. She can't began to imagine when all the employees' eyes were staring at her and began scrutinizing her looks from head to toe as if they were trying to see if she was worthy to be their Boss's wife. "You never told me that you're gonna introduce me to your employees!" she pouted at him.

John pinched her nose. "It's a surprise, my love. I wanted to introduce you to everyone as my future wife. Now, that it's over, we will be planning our civil wedding soon," he grinned at her.

He guided her into the sofa bed. "Have a rest first. Are you tired, Cath? " he asked softly.

She sat down on the sofa and roamed her eyes inside his office. His office has a touch of masculinity to it, it has a relaxed atmosphere and s.p.a.cious looking, a cabinet stood in the corner storing a.s.sorted things such as files, folders, books, and etcetera. A 'U' shape executive office table was situated in the corner beside the gla.s.s wall, if the occupant was sitting on that swivel chair his eyes would directly come in contact with the beautiful panoramic view of the city. It offered a breathtaking birds-eye view of the entire Makati City's skyline.

There's a toilet near the door. A hot and cold water dispenser stood in the corner near the office desk, besides it was a center table, with disposable cups, and spoons, as well as sachets of 3 in 1 coffee in abundance, was placed above it.

She sunk into the sofa bed, it feels comfy, not stuffy. So this is the office where John thinks, manages, made strategic business decisions, and expanded his business empire throughout the years.

She feels good and honored that she was now becoming a part of this important side of his life.
